Mary Kate is the Owner and Founder of Discover EMT, LLC. Mary Kate comes to the education field with years of experience as an EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic. Mary Kate enjoys teaching people to become the best providers that they can be, and ensures they are comfortable with everything they are being trained to do.
Meet the Manager Corey Irzyk, EMT-P, BLS-I
Corey is a key component and the manager and co-founder of Discover EMT, LLC. Corey works as a full-time paramedic and is the father of a beautiful girl. Corey comes with multiple years of EMS experience and particularly enjoys teaching about Operations and NIMS with a particular focus in Mass Casualties and Terrorism. Corey is also a CPR instructor! Corey not only enjoys teaching, he helps maintain a smooth-running and goal-oriented business.
Meet Instructor Katherine Hancock, EMT, DPT
Katie comes to the team with several years of experience as an EMT, volunteer and paid. She enjoys teaching hands on through simulations, and enjoys teaching anatomy and physiology! Katie graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and works Full-Time as a physical therapist! Join us in welcoming her!
Meet Instructor Susan McAllister, EMT
Susan is a CPR instructor with Discover EMT, LLC. Skilled in many ways, Susan is a firefighter and EMT. Also important to note that she works full-time for a home business and is a devoted mother/step mother to a total of 14 kids!
