How Do I Reset My Discover Card Password Quickly?

Forgetting your credit card password can be frustrating, especially when you need to check your balance, review transactions, or make a payment. Fortunately, Discover provides account recovery options that can help you regain access to your online account.

Before starting the password recovery process, make sure you have:

• Access to the Discover website.

• Your Discover account username or other requested account information.

• Access to your registered phone number or email, if needed for verification.

• A secure internet connection.

• A device where you can create and save your new password safely.

Having these details ready can make the process easier.

Follow these simple steps to reset your password.

Step 1: Visit the Discover Website

Open your browser and visit. Make sure the website address is correct before entering any personal or financial information.

Step 2: Open the Login Page

Find the account login option and open the sign-in page. Look for the password recovery or forgotten password option.

Step 3: Enter the Required Information

Follow the instructions on the screen. You may need to provide your username and other information to identify your account.

Step 4: Verify Your Identity

Discover may ask you to complete an identity verification step. Follow the official instructions using the verification method offered for your account.

Never share a one-time verification code with anyone who contacts you unexpectedly.

Step 5: Create a New Password

Once your identity has been verified, follow the available instructions to create a new password. Choose a strong password that you do not use for other websites.

Step 6: Sign In Again

Return to the login page and enter your updated password. If you can sign in successfully, check your account to make sure everything looks normal.

If you usually manage your credit card through the Discover mobile app, you can begin by opening the official app.

1. Open the Discover mobile app on your phone.

2. Find the sign-in or account recovery option.

3. Follow any instructions provided for forgotten passwords.

4. Complete the required identity verification.

5. Create a new password if prompted and sign in again.

If the app does not provide the recovery option you need, use the official Discover website through your mobile browser.
