We are actively involved in a wide range of initiatives both within our parish and throughout the broader community. Guided by our faith and commitment to service, our members seek meaningful ways to support others, advocate for justice, and grow spiritually together.
Over the years, we have hosted educational and awareness sessions on important social issues, including homelessness and human trafficking. We have participated in the March for Life, regularly visit the Gianna Centre, and organize "Feed the Hungry" outreach projects twice each year to support those experiencing food insecurity.
Our members are committed to lifelong faith formation and personal growth. We have participated in educational opportunities, hosted a Women of the Bible quilt gathering, and provided practical support to newcomers by collecting items for refugee welcome bags.
Within our parish community, we proudly participate in the Jesse Tree project during Advent, assist the Knights of Columbus with their Pancake Breakfast, and undertake various fundraising initiatives that help support parish programs and needs. Through these activities, we strengthen our parish while building lasting friendships and connections with one another.
As members of the Catholic Women's League, we are also called to be a voice for faith-based values and social justice. We have supported advocacy efforts and written to government representatives on issues affecting Catholic families, human dignity, religious freedom, and other matters of importance to our Church and community.
These are just some of the many ways we put our faith into action. As a sisterhood of Catholic women, we pray together, learn together, serve together, and support one another through all stages of life. Through faith, service, leadership, and social justice, we strive to make a meaningful difference in our parish, our community, and the world around us.
