Spectators

The Disc Dog Texas State Championship-Fairfield will be held May 19-21, 2023 in Fairfield, Texas. Competitors from all over the state and the country will arrive to compete in UpDog trials on Friday, UFO world championship qualifier on Saturday, and Skyhoundz Classic world championship qualifier on Sunday.

Bring your chairs, a picnic and cooler, a popup tent if you like, sit and stay awhile!

Approximate schedule:

Friday UpDog Games All Day! (more about UpDog here)

• 4-Way Play - catches in 4 different zones.

• Timewarp - how fast can your dog make 4 catches?

• Frizgility - disc dog, jumps, and tunnels!

• Greedy - running and catches in 4 zones before time runs out! 

• Far Out - long distance throws and catches!

Saturday UFO World Cup - Regional Qualifier (more about UFO here) 

• Freestyle competition in the morning and midday featuring some of the best freestyle competitors in the world

• Toss & Fetch competition throughout the day

• D-Tour Long Distance competition featuring 60 to 100 yard throw and catches

Sunday Skyhoundz Regional Qualifier (more about Skyhoundz here)

• Freestyle competition in the morning and midday top competitors do it again in a different format

• Distance & Accuracy with the most difficult criteria throughout the day

•  Pairs Freestyle just for the fun of it!
