The robot

Our robot is something we have been working and iterating on for a while. 

Our group has called out robot 'Drunken Sailor' due to an error in the code for docking on the 2023 charge station and it's overall unstable movement. nevertheless the robot works completely fine.

Driving Base

The base of the robot is the most important part of the robot as it is what moves the robot around. The drive base is a tank drive. It is powered by 4 motors

Claw

Our claw uses 6 rubber wheels that spin fast. The back 4 wheels have yellow sandpaper to improve the grip with objects. We pick up object by making the wheels spin inwards and driving into the object, then we raise the arm.
