Ph.D. students 

The lab doesn't currently have funding for Ph.D. students. If you are self-funded or have funding from somewhere else, please send an email to Dr. Salman with your CV and a few statements of why you are a good fit for the lab. We already look for students who are passionate about AI security and distributed systems. A student interested in AI applications is not a good fit for the lab research (for Ph.D. students only) 

TTU's Master's students

Master's students can get involved in the lab research in the form of a Master's project or thesis. Generally, I would ask them to take CS 7000 at some point as well.  Due to the high volume of students, I tend to take students that I know or have taken my classes. Topics can range from AI security to distributed applications related to blockchains. If you meet the above criteria and are interested in joining, please send an email to Dr. Salman. 

TTU's Undergraduate students and scholars 

Undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in our research projects through CS 4000 or other TTU scholars that offer research experience (e.g., McNair scholars, Honors scholars, ...). Topics can be anything of your interest related to the CS field. Please send an email to Dr. Salman. 

Outsiders 

I rarely take students from outside TTU. However, if you are part of a summer exchange program or any summer program at TTU, we will consider your application. Please send an email to Dr. Salman.
