About the Founder

Renee’ Scruggs became a self-advocate after being severely and permanently injured in a car accident during her Freshman year of college. Since that time she has conducted inclusion trainings for NASA, the Corp of Engineers, the North Alabama Society for Human Resource Management (NASHRM), the Association of People Supporting Employment First (APSE), the IDEX, Corporation and other organizations.

Ms. Scruggs serves as an accommodation and resource noncertified specialist for the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services (ADRS). She has also provided career, leadership training and pre-employment services for the ADRS. She is a member of the Huntsville Area Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, is a business advisor for People First of Alabama and a member of the City of Huntsville Disability Awareness DEI Advisory Council. She has also served as the VP of Diversity & Inclusion as well as VP of Workforce Readiness for the North Alabama Society for Human Resource Management (NASHRM). Ms. Scruggs holds a B.A. in Communications, a Masters in Business Administration as well as a Masters in Management.
