The Resource Department of Bala Vidya Mandir organised a disability awareness visit to Chettinad Sath Sadhana on 17 December 2025 for Class XI C Psychology students, accompanied by Mr. Abinithan and Mrs. Sumathi C.

The visit included an orientation on vocational training for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, followed by observation of activities such as weaving, data entry, embroidery, and papier-mâché work. Students gained firsthand insight into special education practices and the importance of patience, empathy, and inclusivity.

The experience deepened students’ understanding of the abilities of learners with special needs and encouraged a socially responsible outlook.
