NOTE: Friends of the Dirnanian President are Dirnanian citizens by law under 'Acquaintanceship Act' which states that "Any friend or close friend or acquaintance of the President of Dirnania is automatically issued Dirnanian citizenship." The reason for this is because the close friends of the President of the Republic of Dirnania are highly, well-respected people. Whom are recognized in the eyes of the President of the Democratic People's Republic of Dirnania as honored citizens of the state. 

The Honorary Citizenship of Dirnania is one of the nation’s highest symbolic distinctions, granted to distinguished foreign individuals who have rendered extraordinary service to the Republic of Dirnania or significantly advanced its international standing, cultural heritage, humanitarian efforts, or strategic interests. Inspired by the concept of honorary citizenship in the United States, this recognition is primarily ceremonial and does not automatically confer full legal citizenship rights such as voting, holding public office, or unrestricted residency. Instead, it represents the profound gratitude, friendship, and respect of the Dirnanian people. Candidates may be nominated by the President, the National Assembly, or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the honor is typically confirmed through a supermajority legislative approval followed by formal presidential ratification. Recipients are presented with an official certificate bearing the Great Seal of Dirnania and are recorded in the national registry of honorary citizens. Although largely symbolic, the title may include certain special courtesies, such as state recognition or limited diplomatic privileges, and may be revoked if the recipient acts contrary to the dignity or interests of Dirnania.
