I am professor of microeconomics and public economics at the Department of Economics, Ghent University.

My research interests are:

• Inequality of opportunity;
• Dynamic aspects of income inequality and income mobility;
• Inheritance and wealth inequality;
• Optimal Taxation.

I teach Microeconomics in the second year of the BA program, and Microeconomics (Decision Theory), Public Economics and Game Theory in the MSc in Economics program.
