the setup doesn't detect anything to choose from for me. I thought it was cause of winxp that doesn't support directx 11, but the same happens in win vista and 7.
command and conquer generals and C & C generals zero hour, having difficulty running the game as its coming up with an error for Directx 8.1 required. I haven't got any issues running red alert 3 or other in the series. I have re downloaded latest directx but not having much luck. has anyone else had a similar experience?

I am having the same issues but the solution listed did not help. I installed the patch listed and It did not work. I still get the directx error. Any help would be helpful at this point I am out of ideas 17dc91bb1f
