Internal Ideathon (Stage 1) of Smart India Hackathon on 16th Sept. 2023Β
The 6th Smart India Hackathon (SIH), 2023 launched nationwide by the Ministry of Education, Government of India to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems face in daily lives and to inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving. The students of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat presented their innovative ideas in the Internal Hackathon of SIH on 16th September, 2023. The internal hackathon was organized to select the teams with outstanding problem solution and the short-listed studentsβ teams will represent the institute at a national level. A total of 48 teams participated and displayed extraordinary talent in their presentations from a total of 239 problem statements provided by the organizers of SIH β23. The internal hackathon was arranged by SVNIT studentβs chapters of ACM and GDSC under the leadership of Mr. Garvit Shah and Ms. Radhika Jajoo respectively. Members of chapters worked hard from the publicity to internal evaluation in an orderly fashion. Total 35 teams were selected by jury members Dr. Balu Parne, Dr. Alok Kumar, Dr. Dipti Rana and Ms. Vaishnavee Rathod from Department of Computer Science and Engineering on the basis of the feasibility of their ideas, creativity of their solutions and the technical skills possessed by them to develop the prototypes and conveyed their wishes for the grand success to represent SVNIT, Surat at a national level.Β
