Hi, I am Diponkor Bala. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at the Institute of Quantum Biophysics, Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea, where my research focuses on AI-driven biomedical applications. I completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Islamic University, Kushtia-7003, Bangladesh.
I have hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and High-Performance Computing. My undergraduate and graduate research focused on applying advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to signal processing and biomedical imaging problems, strengthening my foundation in data-driven modeling and computational analysis. My current research interests lie at the intersection of AI and healthcare, particularly in Biomedical Imaging, Photoacoustic Imaging, and Spatial Transcriptomics. I am especially interested in developing deep learning models for multimodal data integration, image-based biomarker discovery, and spatially resolved biological analysis. In addition, I possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with solid programming expertise in Python and MATLAB. I am committed to leveraging artificial intelligence to address complex challenges in healthcare and biomedical research.
