Hi, I am Diponkor Bala. I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. at the Institute of Quantum Biophysics (IQB), Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea, where my research focuses on AI-driven biomedical applications. I received my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degrees in  Computer Science and Engineering from Islamic University, Kushtia-7003, Bangladesh.

I have research experience in machine learning, deep learning, biomedical image analysis, and high-performance computing. My undergraduate and graduate research focused on applying advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques to signal processing and biomedical imaging, providing me with a strong foundation in data-driven modeling and computational analysis. My current research interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare, with a particular focus on biomedical imaging, photoacoustic imaging, and spatial omics. I am especially interested in developing deep learning methods for multimodal data integration, medical image analysis, image-based biomarker discovery, and spatially resolved biological analysis. I possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with programming experience in Python, MATLAB, and R. My long-term research goal is to develop reliable and interpretable AI-driven computational methods to address challenging problems in biomedical research and contribute to advances in precision medicine and healthcare.
