About Dipod

The Driving Instructors Podcast

This podcast is aimed at driving instructors and is produced by driving instructors. We look to be a highly interactive podcast and welcome your contributions whether by email, phone or in person in the studio.

The show has been running since 2007 and our complete back catalouge of shows can still be downloaded to this day!

We look forward to having you on board and hope you enjoy the shows as much as we enjoy producing them!

How to receive the shows

There are a multitude of ways you can listen to the podcast

From our website pages here

Using an app on your phone (pocketcast recommended - many other free ones are available)

In iTunes

Google Music

Amazon Music

Spotify

iHeart Radio

Facebook page at Dipod.adi

Whatsapp page

From the webpage

On the home page of this website you will see the latest show from Dipod. Towards the bottom of the page you will see a player that has that shows image with it. You can play the podcast directly from there, or just underneath the player in the direct link to the mp3.

In most browsers, if you click that link it will start to play the podcast as well, but if you are wanting to download the mp3 to listen to later, then you will need to right click on that ling and choose 'Save File As...

Receiving CDs by post

We also produce CDs of the podcast, which usually get sent out once a month. These CDs contain two shows, unless one show happens to be very long, inwhich case it will be on a CD of it's own.

If you would like to start receiving CDs, then in the first instance please email me peter@dipod.co.uk and I will contact you about setting up a regular delivery. This will entail using our online donation page and going through the process to set up a £4 per month donation.

Phone apps

You can download our shows for free by using a 'podcatching' app. Most commonly this is done on a mobile phone or tablet, but it is possible to have one on a PC.

My recommendation is an Android app called Pocketcasts (it may be available on iPhone - but really don't know. Please let me know if you own such a phone!). Pocketcast is a paid for app, but is not expensive. There are free ones available too, but you will have to put up with the adverts.

Whichever app you get you should be able to go to their 'discovery' page and do a search for Dipod. From there it should be easy to follow the directions to subscribe and from then on your app should automatically download a new show whenever one becomes available.

Web Pages

The podcast is also available from a variety of other places includint iTunes, Google music, iHeart radio, Facebook and Whatsapp. In most instances it is just a question of searching within the service for Dipod.

Our Facebook page at dipod.adi contains the shows under the 'video' page, and under whatsapp you will find us at our home of @dipodcast.

Problem?

If you have any problem downloading or finding our service, then please feel free to get in touch with me at peter@dipod.co.uk.
