9th Grade Diplomacy
9th Grade, Naale, students who arrive at Kfar Mosenson come from all over the globe.
This fact presents an opportunity for the students to recognize and acknowledge their own cultures. The one characteristic they have in common - being Jewish.
This class provides a curriculum that includes studying about Israeli culture through various diplomacy & academic skills.

11.5.2023 The 3rd meeting in the project. The students were divided into groups; 2 students from Rishonim & 2 students from Mosenson, together they created a 'Photo Essay'.

10.5.2023 Active Listening Skills! We can all learn about them but applying them everyday...a different story.
The students created a 'Gallery Walk'. 7 groups created a poster explaining their specific skill. Afterwards we created a Gallery in the classroom. Students walked from one poster to the next and commented on what they learnt.

3.5.2023 While learning to be mediators off & online, the students studied the meaning of Position & Interest. Then, the class decided how in various situations we are able to have a Win Win, a Win- Lose or a Lose-Lose in any situation? A little creativity always helps!:)

22.3.2023 The 12th Grade Art Major students at Mosenson create an exhibition at the end of every year as part of their Bagrut (Matriculation exam).
The students were introduced to Israeli Art in class and then we took a tour of the exhibition. Amazing!
Then students from the 12th Grade Cinema Major came and asked for help!

The students recognized their own identities and shared with their classmates. By doing so, they
learnt how we are ALL connected.
This was implemented with Hexagonal Thinking.
When you place an idea on a hexagon, it has six sides where connections could be made to other ideas. When you place many ideas on many hexagons, the discussion about where to connect what will be different every time. (taken from: cultofpedagogy.com)
