Zack Dinzeo is a 33-year-old husband, father, and community advocate who believes strong schools create strong communities.
Originally from Oakdale, Zack grew up learning the importance of teamwork, commitment, and perseverance. He attended St. Bernard's Catholic School for three years before continuing his education at Concordia Academy of Roseville after St. Bernard's closed.
A lifelong athlete, Zack played hockey throughout his school years. His experiences as a player helped shape his understanding of teamwork, accountability, leadership, and the importance of working toward a common goal.
Zack earned his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Rasmussen University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Throughout his education and professional career, he has developed strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, communication, and thoughtful decision-making.
Zack has spent the past decade working in education with Pearson, one of the world's leading education companies. Throughout his career, he has gained experience in operations, leadership, quality improvement, investigations, policy, and process improvement. His work requires evaluating complex information, collaborating with others, and making decisions that balance accountability, integrity, and positive outcomes.
Zack also serves on the Stillwater Area Schools Finance Committee, where he has gained firsthand insight into the financial opportunities and challenges facing the district.
Throughout his life, Zack has valued the impact that positive mentors, coaches, and community programs can have on young people. He has previously served as a youth hockey coach with White Bear Lake Youth Hockey, coaching Bantam athletes as both a Bantam B1 Assistant Coach and Bantam C Head Coach. He also coached with a Wisconsin AAA All-Star hockey team and spent four years as an Assistant Softball Coach with the Oakdale Athletic Association.
While his focus today is on raising his family and serving his community, those experiences continue to shape his belief that strong relationships, supportive environments, and opportunities for young people are essential to their growth and success.
Zack and his wife, Nichole, are raising two young children and are proud to call Stillwater home. Their family chose to return to Stillwater because they believe in this community and the opportunities its schools provide.
As a parent, education professional, and community member, Zack is committed to listening, asking thoughtful questions, and making decisions that put students and families at the center.
