Your visit to the extraordinarily rich dig site, begins with a brief introduction to the geology of the area, a general background and history of the museum and dig sites, where most of our bones are found, and an overview of the dinosaurs found on our property. We make sure to not be too technical in our delivery so to make the information interesting and enjoyable to hear for all participants of all ages. The SI quarry is covered by a large building which houses the entire site and provides ample shade for every visitor.

We describe two genes, dino and mercedes, which are required for the organization of the zebrafish body plan. In dino mutant embryos, the tail is enlarged at the expense of the head and the anterior region of the trunk. The altered expression patterns of various marker genes reveal that, with the exception of the dorsal most marginal zone, all regions of the early dino mutant embryo acquire more ventral fates. These alterations are already apparent before the onset of gastrulation. mercedes mutant embryos show a similar but weaker phenotype, suggesting a role in the same patterning processes. The phenotypes suggests that dino and mercedes are required for the establishment of dorsal fates in both the marginal and the animal zone of the early gastrula embryo. Their function in the patterning of the ventrolateral mesoderm and the induction of the neuroectoderm is similar to the function of the Spemann organizer in the amphibian embryo.

My 2 and 4 year old absolutely love them! They ask for them multiple times a day ? even my 11 year old that's so picky loves them! And I feel good giving dino bars to them. They're such a healthy good snack!

Our 3.5yo absolutely devours these the edible paper and all. I have to preface this with my kid's preference; he prefers fruits over chocolate or cookies. When we first introduced this to him he wanted "another one" and then "another." I give him however much he wants because I feel good about the ingredients and I know it gives him the energy he needs. This travels well and we usually pack 2 to 3 with every outing. Bonus point for the name since he goes crazy with anything dinosaur. ?

My son LOVES dino bars, and enjoys getting to pick which color he gets to eat that day. They feel like a yummy yet healthy alternative to most of the on the go snacks on the market. Definitely recommend!

I'm always on the hunt for snacks I don't feel guilty feeding my boys but usually the "good stuff" isn't something they will eat. They are both eating these right up so I will continue to be a dino bars customer. Recommend! My boys are 1 and 5.

The Sweet Potato Raspberry bar is MY favorite - it's almost a dessert flavor ? Rich and sweet without a sugar crash makes these a winner in my book. My kiddos enjoy this flavor as well (they love all the dino bars!). I like keeping some of these in my bag for on the go and not walking into a grocery store hungry.

My almost-two year old is obsessed with these! I thought he would be weirded out about the edible paper, but no complaints. And he loves dinosaurs, so that's a bonus. My husband and I also think these are delicious, though the slight give when initially biting the paper is a minor turn off for me.

I have to say, these bars are the PERFECT healthy snack! They're small, they're mess-free, they're healthy, they taste good. I've never seen my son so happy eating ANYTHING. He's 20 months old and he runs around chanting "dino bars dino bars dino bars." My husband even likes them, and I've had to chastise him into saving them for our son. One thing though, if you're not a fan of coconut, you MAY not like these, but I personally think it enhances the flavors, rather than takes away from it. Try these out, I swear you won't be disappointed.

USPS gave me some issues with my delivery, and I reached out to dinobars' customer service. I received excellent and response assistance in getting this resolved, even though it was not their fault. I really appreciated that! On top of this, my son loves these bars! So we're big fans of both the staff and the product over here.
