If you grew up in North America, there is a high chance that some way or another, you interacted with the great Dr. Seuss' work whether it be through his 45 children's books, or movies such as How the Grinch Stole Christmas. As I think he is one of the most brilliant children book authors of all time, here are my favourite 7 quotes from him. PS the images are not from me, but sourced throughout the internet!
While there is a grim truth to this - if we flip the coin, who else feels empowered to be a part of that "unless" group of change makers?

Book: Green Eggs & Ham
Fun fact: this was the first Dr. Seuss book I remembered reading. At the time, I didn't like onions and that's all I could think of :P. Now, I love onions (but they still have to be cooked a particular way ie diced and cooked)
Book: The Places You'll Go
Fun fact: This was the last book written in 1990 before his death in 1991
This is the only Dr. Seuss book I personally own but it's a treasured graduation gift that my high school teacher gave me. I reference it for inspiration when I'm feeling like I need a pick me up. Also, a great gift to give to both children and adults!
A Note from Donna:
I thought it would be fun to have a post with just an awesome quote from the great Dr. Suess to celebrate his birthday. Who knew his work would still be so relevant to this day. I loved how he used his art form to inspire and nurture the human spirit.
