I am currently an Associate Professor at the University of Technology Sydney and an ARC DECRA Fellow. My current research interests include applications of machine learning to address emerging problems in communications, networking, and cybersecurity.

[PhD Scholarship] I am currently looking for a PhD student with excellent theoretical backgrounds on wireless networks and machine learning, for research in Applications of Machine Learning in Wireless Networks, at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia.

Scholarship: ~AUD $28,000/year (plus tuition fee waiver) for 3 years (up to 3.5 years).

Qualifications: Candidates are expected to have experiences with network modeling and scientific programming (Matlab/Python), as well as a strong background in either wireless networks or machine learning. Background on machine learning or optimization is desired. English IELTS (Academic) >=6.5 overall, writing >=6.0.Hard-working and passion for research.
