My name is Dingyi Xu, I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Research Insititute for Global Value Chains, University of International Business and Economics.

My research interests include International Economics, Global Value Chains, and the Economy of China. My postdoctoral research is about the global value chains and China's industrial upgrading. In my job market paper, I empirically and theoretically investigate the effect of China's value-added tax policy on firms' decision to choose export destinations and import sourcing countries.
