Pattern-formation & Interfacial-Instabilities-Group

 About me

I have finished my Ph.D. at IIT Madras and my research work was on "Elastohydrodynamics of two-phase stratified flows in soft-gel coated micro-channels." Soon after defending my Ph.D. work, I went to University of Florida in Gainesville as a "Postdoctoral Researcher". Here I got an opportunity to work on resonance driven instabilities which have technological applications in cooling avionics in high altitude satellites, and in developing micro-heat exchangers. My research work mainly deals with patterns that form due to interfacial instabilities in flexible media, resonance driven instabilities, electrohydrodynamic instabilities and instabilities driven by thermal gradients.
