Player development begins Wednesday, September 9 in the Dimond Main Gym from 6-8pm. This is for current Dimond Students, grades 9-12 only. Freshman are welcome! This is a great opportunity for players to get in the gym, play with their peers and meet the Dimond boys basketball coaching staff as we prepare for the upcoming season.

The 2025-2026 season was another memorable chapter for Dimond Boys Basketball. Built around family, hard work, accountability and pride in representing Dimond High School, the Lynx continued a tradition of success while developing the next generation of Dimond basketball

CIC Champions

The Lynx finished post season by capturing the 2025-2026 Cook Inlet Conference Championship, defeating West Anchorage 64-58 in the semifinal before earning the championship victory over Service. 

The title marked Dimond's third CIC Championship in four years and earned the  Lynx another trip to the ASAA 4A state basketball tournament.

Congratulations to CIC Player of the Year Amelio Ambrosio! Junior, Jace Christophersen and Sophomore, Pius Hajdukovich were also named to the CIC Third Team All Conference!

Their leadership, toughness, personalities and commitment helped shape our program both on and off the court. 

Amelio Ambrosio scored his 1000th Career Point, was named CIC Player of the Year, won the AABC Senior All Star Slam Dunk Contest and signed to continue his basketball career at University of Alaska Seawolves.

Senior, Sam Odia signed to continue his basketball career at Clarke University!

Dimond was also represented by Amelio Ambrosio, Sam Odia and Ryan Alfano during the 2025-2026 AABC Senior All Star weekend. 

Success extended throughout the entire program

JV Lynx - finished 13-8 overall and 7-5 in conference play. They placed second in the Cook Inlet Academy Tournament and traveled to Tikigaq and placed second in their tournament as well.

C Team finished its season as Wrap Up Tournament Champions. 

More importantly, young players gained valuable experience, developed relationships with their teammates and coaches and continued preparing to carry Dimond basketball forward. 

Wins and championships are part of our story but they don't define our program. 

Dimond basketball is about family.

It's about teaching young men to work hard, advocate for themselves, support their teammates, take pride in their school and community and understand that representing DIMOND means something. 

Thank you to our players, coaches, managers, families, alumni, sponsors, photographers, volunteers and the entire Dimond community for supporting us throughout another incredible season.
