DIMITRIOS KATSAOUNIS

PhD student, Univeristy of St Andrews, School of Mathematics and Statistics

About

I am a third year PhD student in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of St Andrews, and a member of the StAMBio, under the supervision of Nikolaos Sfakianakis and Mark Chaplain. I am originally from Greece, where I finished my BSc in Applied Mathematics at the University of Crete.

During my undergraduate studies I became interested in the interplay of Mathematics and Biology. My current research interests are cancer growth, cell migration and more specifically cancer metastasis and multiscale mathematical modeling.
