Dime Game is developed by 3 Rivers Software ("we," "us"). This policy explains how the Dime Game mobile app for iOS and Android handles your information.
The short version: the app does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data.
Nothing.
Dime Game has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. It does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.
The app lets you optionally describe your situation and answer ten yes-or-no questions. All of this stays in your device's memory while the app is open. It is never sent anywhere, and it is not saved — when you close the app, your entries are gone. There is no history, no cloud sync, and no backup of your answers.
Dime Game does not connect to the internet. The Android version does not request the INTERNET permission, and the app contains no networking code. It works entirely offline, including in airplane mode.
Dime Game contains no advertising, no analytics or telemetry SDKs, no social media integrations, and no third-party trackers of any kind. We do not sell, share, or disclose information about you, because we do not have any.
Although the app itself collects nothing, the app stores that distribute it operate under their own policies, independently of us:
If you have enabled sharing analytics with developers in your device settings, Apple or Google may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash and usage statistics. We cannot identify individual users from this, and you can turn it off in your device settings.
Apple and Google collect information related to your download and purchase of apps. This is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
Dime Game does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app collects nothing at all, there is no children's data for us to receive, store, or delete.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase. Deleting the app removes it and anything associated with it from your device.
Dime Game is a self-help aid for practicing a Dialectical Behavior Therapy skill. It is not therapy, not a medical device, and not a substitute for professional care. Anything you enter about your situation is treated the same as all other input: kept only in memory, never transmitted, and never saved.
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. If a future version of the app ever begins collecting information, we will say so here before that version is released.
