We now list some restaurants that are not too expensive and offer a good change from the hostel food.
Here are some words of advice for students surviving on outside food.
Please consume at least 100 gm of yoghurt (also called curd, dahi) per day to ensure healthy bacterial gut flora. This will prevent stomach upsets to a large extent, control your weight and increase your general immunity (70% of immunity comes from the gut). It is much better to consume yoghurt than to consume milk. If you cannot get yoghurt easily, consume a bottle of lassi / chaas / buttermilk / Yakult which may be more easily available. If you have a severe upset, take lactobacillus capsules like Rinifol / Nutrolin B, 3 times a day for 5 days.
Have at least one banana a day to supply prebiotic fibre to enhance the action of the probiotic bacteria of the yoghurt. Consume cucumbers (after thorough washing) from time to time for additional fibre. This is even more important during exam time.

The result is a spectacular coffee with rich aroma and flavour having extremely low acidity. See below pictures for an example, which easily beats expensive branded coffee like Starbucks Reserve.
