Research Interests
I am interested in Jones' technology - a recent technology developed by Vaughan Jones to easily construct group actions. I spend my time thinking about how this technology can be used in the following ways.
The past few years I have worked on a program to construct moduli spaces of irreducible unitary representations of the Thompson groups and *-representations of the Cuntz algebra.
Applying and generalising the above work in a more algebraic context with the Leavitt path algebras.
Investigating approximation properties (such as the Haagerup property) for Thompson-related groups.
