Batoul is a long term educator, mentor, coach and a people person. She enjoys empowering youth, families and especially women to reach their best and fullest potentials. She is an Educational Technology Specialist with a passion for harnessing the power of tech to facilitate life within the ethical boundaries. Batoul strives to educate families around digital citizenship, technology skills and best parenting strategies and approaches.
As a parent , Batoul thrives to raise her children to be the best version of themselves. While seeking more knowledge and skills to become a better parent, she discovered a great resource offered to parents. She signed up for a parenting course "the Incredible Years Parenting program“. Finding the program to be extremely empowering and essential for a successful parenting journey, Batoul then decided to find out how to bring this amazing program to her Arabic speaking community. The program will launch it is first ever Arabic session to empower the muslim/Arabic families in the metro Denver area.
Batoul has a passion for helping others. She especially enjoys empowering new immigrant families and facilitating their transition into the new community. being a first generation immigrant herself, she understands the struggles and obstacles to navigate life in a new world. She says: "I was once an immigrant and God had placed amazing people in my path to help me navigate life in a new world and therefore, I love sharing and helping new immigrants integrate and become an integral part of our thriving community."
Batoul humbly call herself an Education Technology expert. She is well adept in a wide variety of technology tools for teaching, learning and business relations. She is also a Professional Learning Specialist and a program facilitator. Batoul enjoys building relationships hence, she is well connected within various communities. Batoul is a Google Certified Educator along with various other technology tools and education platforms.
Batoul holds an undergraduate degree in education and teaching English as a Second language. She also holds a Masters Degree in Educational Technology. Batoul has served as an Educator for 15+ years, then transitioned into coaching her team of educators as an Ed Tech Specialist and Coach. Over the past few years she's been in the role of a Professional learning Specialist for an ed tech company that focuses on the science of reading. She has also taken on the role of Incredible Years Program Coordinator and facilitator for the Arabic speaking community in Denver.
Batoul currently live in Superior, CO with her husband and toddler. Together, they have also raised Batoul's 23 yr old daughter (from a previous marriage) who is currently away for an engineering internship. They all enjoy the mountains and the beautiful Colorado nature, but can’t help but miss the water and sandy beaches which they often visit during family vacations.
