This website is the meeting point for the entire educational community of the 5 schools involved in the development of the Erasmus+ 2021-1-ES01-KA122-SCH-000013963 project, approved by the different national agencies in 2021, and with a duration of 18 months between January 2022 and August 2023.
As the heading indicates, the title of the project is "DigiXpressing: Digitalisation of the teaching-learning process, using art as a transmitter of our culture and a tool for expressing feelings".
This project was born after the return to the classroom in a pandemic situation, where the centre had changed its approach given that many hygienic and sanitary measures had to be applied that had never been seen before. In view of the difficulties encountered, our centre established the following priorities:
Digitalisation of learning: providing families with the material resources they might need; providing the training required for our entire educational community to access knowledge. This section also translates into the integration of technological and digital resources in learning, that is to say, that they form part of the daily life of our students and teachers in classroom work, but also that they enhance in them the development of digital competence: the resources and knowledge are practically infinite on the network, which is why it is necessary to be competent in their selection as well as in self-learning in their use.
Emotional education: helping students to manage and express emotions.
Promotion of equal opportunities: providing students with the necessary tools to develop all their abilities; guaranteeing equal opportunities regardless of their cultural, social or economic heritage. Erasmus+ is a great opportunity to provide children from disadvantaged backgrounds with life and curricular experiences that would otherwise be unattainable.
Personal expression through art: Providing students with resources to express their feelings and emotions, while training them in different artistic languages (painting, dance, sculpture,...). Encouraging creativity, sensitivity, authenticity, resulting in the strengthening of self-esteem. Understanding art as freedom, both individually and collectively. Going beyond knowledge of techniques and artistic currents; having to do with the fact of feeling and perceiving. Serving as a tool to transmit the tradition and culture of their immediate environment.
