Digital Youth Work Summit

Dear Sir or Madam,

We would like to kindly invite you and the team of your oganisation to join the Digital Youth Work Summit. The event will take place on 7th September 2022 in Hotel Zara, Bansko.

The event is dedicated to the Digital Youth Work and its current position and future possibilities for development. In the event will take part experts from the national and local authorities, business, educators and teachers, active youth leaders from non-governmental organisations, youth workers and young people. They have a common mission and it is to create services and activities for young people, for their personal and professional development, with an emphasis on the use of digital technologies for education and media literacy, in social inclusion, digital safety, as well as the many technological challenges facing young people.

The event will take place at the end of the international training course on Digital Youth Work which is implemented under the strategic project #AlwaysON for Youth under the Erasmus+ program. The project aims to increase the capacity of youth and non-governmental organizations from all over Europe, actively working with them through the means of digital youth work and digital inclusion and safety. Lastly, we have carried out a large-scale research "Shaping digital inclusion, safety and well-being in a post-pandemic world", available in English at: http://www.youthwork.digital/. Another products, which will be developed in the project are a MOOC course on digital inclusion and safety, as well as a Gamification pack with 5 games. The project’s training course will take place in Bansko, Bulgaria from 31 August to 8th September 2022.

Digital Youth Work Summit will take place on the 7th September, starting at 10 a.m. and will end up by 1 p.m., following it, all the guests are invited to join a lunch in the Hotel Zara Bansko restaurant. You will have the opportunity to join a panel discussion on Digital Youth Work related topics – an overview of the situation, worldwide and European dimensions of policies connected with young people and inclusion of marginalized youth, future trends and perspectives on the topics, exploration of international, national and local practices. After that people will be invited for a World café and networking time.

Sdrujenie Nadejda-CRD will organize a transport from Sofia to Bansko (and back) for the guests on 7th September and the costs will be covered within the project budget.
