In our experience, integrating the use of any new technology into people's lives requires them to undergo a change process. If that change is to be a success then the five key initiatives must be in place.
In this live-stream, we are looking at how you can provide people with the Skills they need to use the new platform as well as the on demand support needed to help them out if they get into trouble.
Remote support tools are IT tools and software that allow you to connect to a someone else's computer from yours via the Internet and work directly on that remote system as if you were sat in front of it.
While there are many different platforms that allow you to do this, perhaps the simplest to use is Chrome Remote Desktop.
To get started using Chrome Remote desktop you will need:
A Google account
Google Chrome installed on your computer
Once you have these, take a read of this excellent tutorial by ComputerWorld.com that walks you through the entire process:
Google provides free apps for Android and Apple phone that allow you to provide remote support from anywhere with a 4G signal.

The purpose of the live-stream and these notes is not to tell you which Remote Desktop tool is best for you, but rather make you aware of what is possible and to signpost you towards a free tool that you can experiment with right away.
Alternative tools are available, and if you have the time you should certainly check some of them out to see what works best for you:
The best thing to do now would be to try some of the tools we've mentioned in previous live-streams see which ones work best for you, and then go from there.
