Integral Health Shrewsbury

PROJECT OVERVIEW: Integral Health Shrewsbury is multi-disciplinary complementary health clinic based in Shrewsbury and signed up with the Digital Solutions team in April 2020. The digital support was to transfer the training programmes already used by the company to an online platform which a view of expanding market reach and taking an online approach to help cope with the economic impact of Covid 19. Additional to this, a number of allocated hours were given to work with a specialised consultant to focus on developing business models, identifying potential barriers and support in accessing new markets to enable an innovative digital product.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES: The aim was to look at the effective design and development of blended and e-learning solutions. The initial output focussed on finding the most appropriate e-learning platforms for the target audience of the courses. The second longer term phase of our support will be to build the course with the content provided by the client and use the expertise of our Leading Research Fellow to create targeted e-learning courses with an androgogical focus.

PROJECT SOLUTIONS: A private project website was created to allow the company to access all documents and relevant information at any time. Research was carried out to identify the most relevant e-learning platforms and a report written to enable the client to make an informed decision into the best fit. The consultancy work provided a wealth of information and handouts to focus the client and help prepare for the next stage of their digital innovation.
