DigitalSchool AI (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is an institute management application designed to help educational institutions manage students, staff, courses, fees, attendance, academic activities, communications, and other institute-related operations.

DigitalSchool AI does not normally require users to enter or store payment-card numbers, CVV numbers, banking passwords, or net-banking credentials in the application.

Manage student and staff records

We do not sell users' personal information.
DigitalSchool AI is designed to support multiple institutes.
User and institute information is associated with the relevant institute, and access is controlled according to the user's authentication, role, permissions, and institute association.
Users should only access information they are authorized to access.
DigitalSchool AI may request camera or photo/gallery access when a feature requires it.
For example, users may choose to:
Take a photograph
Select an existing photograph
Upload a document or image
Camera or gallery access is requested only when required by the relevant feature.
Uploaded content may be transmitted to and stored using the cloud services used by DigitalSchool AI.
When users choose a WhatsApp-related communication feature, DigitalSchool AI may open WhatsApp or a supported WhatsApp link/service to help send communications.
Depending on the feature and service used, information such as a recipient's phone number, name, or message content may be processed to facilitate the communication.
WhatsApp and other third-party communication providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
DigitalSchool AI uses third-party cloud services to provide and operate application functionality.
These services may include:
Firebase Authentication — for user authentication and account management
Cloud Firestore — for application data storage
Firebase Storage — for storing uploaded files and media
Information processed by these services is subject to the applicable security practices and terms of the respective service providers.

The user must complete the Google Form provided on the deletion-request page with the information required to identify and verify the account.
After receiving and verifying the request, DigitalSchool AI will process the account deletion and deletion of associated personal data according to our applicable deletion procedures.
Certain information may need to be retained where required or permitted for legitimate purposes, including legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or dispute-resolution requirements.
Third-party services may have their own retention and deletion requirements.
DigitalSchool AI is primarily designed for institutes, administrators, teachers, staff, and other authorized users.
The application may contain information about students, including students who are minors, when that information is entered and managed by an institute.
DigitalSchool AI does not intend to encourage children to independently create accounts or provide personal information without appropriate authorization.
Institutes and authorized users are responsible for ensuring that their use of student information complies with applicable laws and institutional requirements.
DigitalSchool AI may use third-party services to provide application functionality, including:
Firebase services
Google cloud services
WhatsApp or supported WhatsApp communication services
Other service providers required to operate specific application features
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Depending on the features used, DigitalSchool AI may request Android permissions such as:
Camera
Photos and media/gallery access
File or document access where required
Permissions are used only for the relevant application features.
DigitalSchool AI does not request location access or address-book/contacts access as part of its normal application functionality.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the application, services, legal requirements, or our data practices.
