About Me

First and foremost, I am a wife and mom. I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart husband for just shy of twenty years. We have two boys. Logan is fourteen and enjoys playing in the percussion of his high school marching band. Blake is eleven and enjoys playing baseball and football. We live in a small town in northwest Georgia. 

I graduated with bachelor's in Early Childhood Education in 2006. I taught for five years in grades 2-5 before taking ten years off to stay home with my children and teach part-time preschool. When my children were in full time school, I returned to the public school classroom as a technology paraprofessional. This is where I realized how much technology in education interested me! I am now about halfway through my Master's in Education in Technology Applications program. I hope to continue to influence education in my community through technology once my program is complete. I believe that technology can be a wonderful resource for teachers to enhance direct instruction.
