When you activate a PRO license:

• Your license key is sent to Gumroad's servers for verification

• This is a one-time check to validate your purchase

• No personal information is sent

• Only the license key and product ID are transmitted

All your data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API:

Third-Party Services

Gumroad (Payment & License Verification Only):

• When you purchase the PRO version, your payment is processed by Gumroad

• Gumroad may collect payment information (credit card, email, etc.)

• This information is governed by Gumroad's Privacy Policy

• We only receive confirmation that a license is valid - no personal details

No Other Third Parties:

• We do not use analytics services

• We do not use advertising networks

• We do not integrate with social media platforms

Permissions We Request

Digital Signature Pro requests the following Chrome permissions:

1. Active Tab

• Purpose: To inject the signature interface on the current webpage

• What we access: Current page's DOM to place signatures

• What we DON'T access: Page content, form data, or any personal information

2. Storage

• Purpose: To save your signatures and settings locally

• What we store: Signature templates, preferences, license status

• Location: Your browser's local storage only

3. Scripting

• Purpose: To execute the signature placement functionality

• What we do: Inject signature overlay and placement tools

• What we DON'T do: Access or modify page content beyond signature placement

4. Downloads

• Purpose: To export your signature templates

• What we do: Allow you to download your saved signatures as backup

• Triggered by: Your explicit action (clicking "Export")

Your Rights & Control

Your Data, Your Control

Access: All your data is stored locally - you have complete access

Export: You can export all your signatures at any time via "Export Signatures" button

Delete: You can delete individual signatures or all data via "Clear All Data" button

Modify: You can edit your settings anytime in the Settings tab

Right to Erasure

To delete all your data:

1. Click the extension icon

2. Go to Settings tab

3. Click "Clear All Data"

4. All signatures, settings, and license info will be permanently deleted

Or simply uninstall the extension - all data will be removed automatically

Children's Privacy

Digital Signature Pro is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Data Security
