Welcome to the homepage of the Digital Convergence & Social Psychiatry Lab, led by Professor Chul-Hyun Cho, a psychiatrist and researcher at Korea University. Our lab is dedicated to exploring the intersection of digital technology and psychiatry, and how these fields can converge to improve mental health care.
As digital technology continues to evolve rapidly, it has the potential to revolutionize mental health care by providing new tools for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. At the same time, however, significant challenges and ethical considerations must be addressed to ensure that these technologies are used responsibly and effectively.
Our lab aims to address these issues by conducting cutting-edge research in digital psychiatry, exploring the potential of new technologies such as virtual reality, mobile apps, and artificial intelligence to support mental health care. We are also interested in the social and cultural factors that shape mental health, and how digital technologies can be used to address disparities and improve access to care.
Through our research and collaborations with other experts in the field, we hope to contribute to the development of more effective, equitable, and sustainable approaches to mental health care in the digital age. Thank you for visiting our website, and please feel free to explore our research, publications, and other resources.
