A person or entity may only access the personal information on a Missouri driver record if they are exempt under the federal Driver Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) or they have obtained express consent from the record holder. Businesses cannot request personal information for the purpose of bulk mailings.

You may request a driver record that does not contain the personal information of an individual. Such a record would contain only non-personal driving history, including information such as speeding tickets and other violations.

The personal information contained on all driver records is closed unless the individual requesting the record is exempt under DPPA, or has obtained express consent from the record holder (see Exemptions). Personal information includes the person's name, address, date of birth, sex, height, weight, eye color, driver license number, Social Security number, photograph, telephone number, and medical or disability information including restrictions.

Louisiana law requires a license holder to be eligible to renew their license up to 180 days prior to or upon expiration. AAMVA's mDL Digital Trust Service (DTS) is the system that enables the VICAL to support all member jurisdictions in delivering successful mDL programs to their stakeholders. Providing a single, safe, secure, and resilient means through which relying parties can easily obtain the public keys of each issuing authority will drive the success of mobile driver license programs.

AAMVA is the provider and operator of the mDL DTS. We bring North American state, territorial, and provincial motor vehicle and law enforcement agencies together to define and implement standards and best practices. AAMVA also serves as a critical technology solution provider to member jurisdictions that support driver license issuance and vehicle solutions.

mDL holders are persons who are provisioned mDLs by the issuing authority from the jurisdiction in which they reside. The mDL ecosystem is designed to ensure that individuals can safely and securely make their identity claim with relying party reader technologies. The mDL DTS does not receive, store, share, or otherwise interact with the personally identifiable information of any mDL holders at any time.

Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) now have two fee options from which to choose when applying for a Certificate of Fitness to operate in Virginia. One of the options requires the TNC to pay a $20 surcharge on each driver transcript requested from DMV. Normal driver transcript fees apply depending on the service outlet used. TNCs that wish to participate in other monitoring programs may do so at their own discretion.

Virginia law requires DMV to actively monitor the driving records of public school bus drivers, public and private school driver education instructors and commercial driving school instructors. Per AS 28.23.080, a transportation network company driver is an independent contractor for all purposes and is not an employee of the transportation network company if the transportation network company

Per AS 28.23.010, the state or a municipality may not require a transportation network company driver to register the personal vehicle the driver uses to provide prearranged rides as a commercial or for-hire vehicle.

Per AS 28.23.050(a) A transportation network company driver, or transportation network company on behalf of the driver, shall [mandatory] maintain primary automobile insurance that recognized that the driver is a transportation network company driver or otherwise uses a vehicle to transport passengers for compensation and that covers the driver while the driver is logged onto the digital network of a transportation network company or while the driver is engaged in a prearranged ride.

IMPORTANT: AS 21.96.018 gives insurance companies the right to exclude coverage in an automobile insurance policy while a driver is logged onto a digital network of a transportation network company or while a driver provides a prearranged ride.

Before filing a request under the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law (RTKL), note that RTKL should NOT be used to ask questions or report a transportation or driver/vehicle concern. Please view the statewide contacts page to report a roadway concern or driver/vehicle question or concern.

PennDOT does not release driver information under the RTKL. Driver license information is available only pursuant to 75 Pa. C.S. 6114 and 67 Pa. Code 95.2(c). See also 65 P.S. 67.708 (b)(6). It is also subject to the limitations of the federal Driver's Privacy Protection Act, 18 U.S.C. 2721-2725.

Under certain circumstances, driver information may be available to you. Request for Driver Information Form DL-503 is located on PennDOT's Driver and Vehicle Services website.
