1. Data Collection & Storage Digital Dose is designed with absolute privacy in mind. We do not collect, harvest, transmit, or sell any personal data or usage statistics. All application settings, including your daily screen time statistics and the list of applications you choose to manage, are stored entirely locally on your device.

2. Use of Accessibility Services (Accessibility API) Digital Dose requires the use of the Android Accessibility Service API to provide its core functionality.

• Purpose: The Accessibility API is used exclusively to detect when a user attempts to launch a restricted application (an app the user has explicitly chosen to block). When a restricted package is detected, the service intercepts the launch and displays a cognitive challenge screen.

• Data Privacy: This service is used strictly for real-time package detection. It does not read your screen content, monitor your keystrokes, or collect any personal data. No information gathered by the Accessibility Service is ever stored off-device or shared with third parties.

3. Installed Application Discovery To allow you to select which specific installed applications you wish to manage, Digital Dose queries your device for apps with a standard launcher icon. This list is generated and kept entirely locally within the app's settings menu. We do not transmit or store your device's installed app inventory off-device.

4. Third-Party Services & Diagnostics The application relies on Google Firebase to deliver core services:

• Content: Firebase is used to download the content (vocabulary words and facts) used in the cognitive games.

• Crashlytics: We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor app stability. If the app crashes, anonymous diagnostic data (such as your device model, operating system version, and the code stack trace) is securely sent to help us fix the issue. This diagnostic data does not contain personally identifiable information.
