Digital Arhat Privacy Policy

Digital Arhat ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Digital Arhat mobile application (the "Service"). This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Digital Arhat for mobile devices. It informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

1. Information Collection and Use To provide a secure and transparent digital mandi experience for Farmers and Traders in Pakistan, we collect the following types of information:

• Personal Identification Information: Full Name, Father's Name, and Mobile Number (used for OTP verification via Firebase).

• Government ID & Verification Data: For Seller registration, we collect your CNIC Number (13 digits) and require images of the Front and Back of your CNIC.

• Camera and Photo Library Access: We require access to your device's camera and photo gallery to allow you to upload CNIC images for account verification and photos of your crops/livestock for marketplace listings.

• Location Information: We collect and use your location data (such as City, District, and Province) to provide localized features, including "Nearby Mandi Snapshots" and "Smart Weather Advisories" relevant to your crops.

• Transaction & Bidding Data: We record your bids, active offers, and accepted deals.

2. How We Use Your Data The data we collect is strictly used to operate and improve the Service:

• User Verification: CNIC data is used solely to verify the identity of sellers and maintain a trusted trading environment.

• Contact Unlocking (Data Sharing): To facilitate offline trading, the phone numbers of the Buyer and Seller are shared only with each other upon the mutual acceptance of a bid. We do not sell your personal data to third-party marketers.

• Service Delivery: To display relevant weather forecasts, local mandi rates, and process escrow/payment details safely.

3. Third-Party Services Our app utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We use secure Google and Firebase services for app functionality and Machine Learning (ML) features (such as text recognition during CNIC scanning). 4. Data Security We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information. We protect it using commercially acceptable means, including Firebase Authentication and secure database rules. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Policy We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Users have the right to request the deletion of their account and associated personal data. If you wish to delete your account, CNIC images, or other data from Digital Arhat, please contact us at the email provided below. We will process your deletion request within a reasonable timeframe.
