- Digital Amin has no login and no user account — we don't collect your name, phone number, or email.

- GPS location is used only when you actively use the boundary-measurement tool, and the coordinates stay on your phone.

- Saved plots are stored locally on your device only; nothing is uploaded to a server we run.

- The app shows banner ads via Google AdMob, which collects a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads.

- We never sell your data.

1. Scope

This policy covers ডিজিটাল আমিন (Digital Amin) — জমি মাপার ক্যালকুলেটর, an Android app published under package name com.mindplaysoft.digitalamin ("the app"), developed by Farhad Hossain. It explains what information the app and its ad partner collect, why, and what control you have over it.

This policy is about data privacy only. In-app disclaimers about the accuracy of area calculations, faraiz (Islamic inheritance) shares, registration-cost estimates, and GPS precision are shown inside the app itself and are not repeated here.

2. Information we collect

The app is designed to do almost everything on-device. Here is exactly what touches your data, and where it goes:

Precise device location (GPS)

When: Only while you're actively using the "GPS জমি পরিমাপ" boundary-measurement tool

Where it goes: Stays on your device; used to compute plot area. Never transmitted to us.

Saved plot corner coordinates & names

When: When you tap "save" on a measured plot

Where it goes: Stored in your device's local app storage only. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

Calculator inputs (areas, heir counts, property values, etc.)

When: Whenever you use a calculator screen

Where it goes: Processed in memory on-device; not stored or transmitted anywhere.

Advertising identifier & device/network info

When: Passively, whenever the app shows a banner ad

Where it goes: Collected by Google AdMob under Google's own privacy policy — see section 4.

We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or an account of any kind — there is nothing to log into.

3. How we use it

- Location is used solely to calculate plot boundary area via geodesic math, and to show your position relative to a plot you're walking.

- Saved plots let you reopen a past measurement later — purely a convenience feature stored locally.

- Advertising data is used by Google AdMob to serve and measure the banner ads that support free development of this app.

4. Third-party services

Google AdMob

The app shows a bottom banner ad via Google AdMob on its calculator and guide screens (never on the GPS measurement or map-overlay screens). AdMob may collect an advertising identifier, IP-derived approximate location, device attributes, and ad-interaction data to select and measure ads, per its own policies:

We do not control what AdMob collects beyond configuring it as a standard banner ad unit — Google is an independent data controller for that ad-serving data.

5. Sharing & sale

We do not sell your data. We do not share app-generated data (locations, saved plots, calculator inputs) with anyone — it never leaves your device in the first place. The only data that reaches a third party is the advertising data described in section 4, which goes to Google as the ad-serving provider.

6. Storage & retention

Saved plots and preferences live in your device's local app storage (Android's app-private storage / localStorage), not on a server we operate. They persist until you delete them in-app, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. We have no backend database and no way to access this data remotely.

7. Children's privacy

The app is a general-audience utility (land measurement, unit conversion, inheritance-share calculation) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Ad delivery through AdMob follows Google's standard treatment based on your device and Play Store settings.

8. Your choices

- Location permission can be revoked anytime in Android Settings → Apps → Digital Amin → Permissions. The GPS tool simply won't work without it; every other feature is unaffected.

- Saved plots can be deleted individually in-app, or all at once by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings.

- Ad personalization is controlled at the OS level: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization (or reset your advertising ID) on Android.

9. Security

Because nearly all app data stays on your device rather than passing through a server we run, the main safeguard is standard Android app sandboxing. We recommend keeping your device's OS updated and using a lock screen, as with any app.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, if a future feature introduces server-side sync — we'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, note it inside the app.
