Admission process

For long term course, student has to qualify their eligibility test. Unqualified student can go for short term course, later on which can be converted into long term course on the basis of their performance.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION:

1) Two copy Photographs(One Passport Size & one copy stamp size)

2) Age Proof Document (HSLC admit card)

3) Last Qualified Examination Mark sheet/Pass Certificate

Batch

It is the group of students registered for specific program or course that runs as per specified scheduled.

Course conversion process

On the basis of student’s performance, short term course can be converted into long term course. But at any condition long term course cannot be converted into short term course.

Discount on course fee

Long term student can get a benefit of discount up to 50% on their course fees on the basis of their eligibility test.

Dress Code

All the students should come to the institution decently dressed.0

Break

Break facility provided to those students only who are appearing in academic examination for a maximum of 1 month with the prior written approval of the center head with attached Time-Table. While on break, the student must continue to make their installment as per the given schedule.

Examination

There would be separate exams on completion of every module.

Certificate

A statement of completion of program.

Transcript

A statement of detailed record of Marks or grades obtained.

Dropout

A student who is fee defaulter or a student who absents for 30 consecutive days or 4 weeks without obtaining prior written permission from the centre head.

Re-Registration

Those students who are called Dropout want to continue course after a break have to pay 50% of Registration Fee and get continue the course.

Ex-Student of Digit

A student who has completed the registered program and has the Certificate / Diploma for the same.

Fee Defaulter

A student who has not paid his/her installment by 10 days of their fee due date. Such student has to pay penalty of Rs.50/- with the next Month’s installment to the centre head.

Fee & Other Details

Any candidate registering for program at Digit has to pay following fees:

Registration fee: (at the time of admission)

Study material fee: (at the time of admission)

Tuition fee: (monthly installment)

Examination fee: (for 2nd and 3rd attempt only)

Module

A topic or a subject area within a course.

Placement Assistance

A service provided to enable eligible students to embark on a career.

Semester

Currently each semester consist of 6 months in normal mode in career series.

Statement of Mark sheet

The statement of marks given to a student who completes a semester in career program.

Booking Fee

Booking fee is fee for reserving seat in forthcoming batches. Booking is valid for 30 days from the date of booking. Specific booking expiry date mentioned on the booking declaration form. Booking fee is non-refundable.

Transfer

Transfer facility for student is not applicable.

Cancellation of Admission

A student whose admission has been cancelled will not be eligible for any service from Digit. A student admission would be cancelled if student become a Dropout.

Attendance

You are expected to maintain 100% attendance for all sessions scheduled for the batch in order to get benefit of the program. Your Parent / guardian may be informed in case of irregularity of attendance. Dropout rules will be applied if there is continuous absence of 30 days or more.

Transcription & Certification

If you will successfully clear the entire program as per the norms, you would be awarded a Mark sheet for both semesters in a career program and also awarded the Course completion Certificate / Diploma. The student not to be awarded the Certificate / Diploma in case any outstanding dues from the student or if there is a special undertaking from the student.
