A plain account of what DigiSignatue does — and mostly doesn't do — with your documents and signatures.
Overview
DigiSignatue is a document-signing tool: you open a PDF, add a signature — typed, drawn, or picked from a photo — and save the signed file. That work happens entirely on your phone or tablet.
This policy explains what that means for your privacy in specific terms, not boilerplate. If any part of it stops being true in a future version, we'll say so and update the date above.
DigiSignatue has no server. There is nowhere for your data to go, because we never built a place to send it. Concretely, we do not collect:
The contents of any PDF you open or sign, or any image or signature you create.
Analytics, usage statistics, crash reports, or device identifiers.
Advertising identifiers. DigiSignatue shows no ads and includes no ad SDKs.
We can state this precisely because it's a property of the app's design, not a promise about a policy we could later change quietly: DigiSignatue does not include a networking, analytics, or advertising library of any kind.
Everything DigiSignatue creates is written to the app's private storage area on your device, in the same sandbox every app on iOS and Android keeps its own files in:
Signatures you create
Drawn strokes, typed signatures, and any image you save as a signature, kept in the app's local signature gallery
Signed PDFs
Written back out to your device's storage as a normal file, wherever you chose to save it
App preferences
Your chosen display language, kept locally so it's remembered next time you open the app
None of this is copied anywhere else by DigiSignatue. Deleting the app removes it, in full.
When you tap to open a PDF or choose an image for a signature, your device's own file or photo picker opens on top of DigiSignatue — the same system window you'd see from any app. You choose one file; the operating system hands us just that file. We never request blanket access to your photos or storage, and Android's modern picker doesn't require us to ask for a storage permission to use it at all.
The one permission declared in the app is internet access, which some of the underlying open-source libraries DigiSignatue is built on require to be present in principle — it is not used to send your documents, signatures, or any other data anywhere.
If you tap Share on a signature or a signed PDF, DigiSignatue hands the file to your device's own share sheet — the same system menu every app uses to open a file in Mail, WhatsApp, Drive, or wherever else you pick. That's an action you take, to a destination you choose; DigiSignatue itself never transmits the file anywhere on its own.
DigiSignatue does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or cloud-storage service. There is no third party to disclose data to, because none is ever collected in the first place.
A signature or signed PDF stays on your device for as long as you keep it. You can delete any saved signature from within the app at any time. Uninstalling DigiSignatue deletes everything the app stored, since none of it exists anywhere else.
DigiSignatue is a general-purpose document tool, not directed at children, and knowingly collects nothing from anyone — adult or child — since it collects no personal data at all.
If a future version of DigiSignatue changes what it does with your data — adding an optional cloud backup, for instance — this page will be updated first, with a new effective date above, before that feature ships.
