This Privacy Policy applies to the DigiScope Camera app (hereby referred to as the “Application”) for mobile devices that is developed by CameraApps (hereby referred to as the “Service Provider”) as a Free service. This service is provided “AS IS.”
The Application may collect limited information automatically when you download and use it. This information may include:
Pages of the Application you visit
Time and date of your visit
Time spent within the Application
Device operating system and basic device information
This information is used solely to improve application performance, stability, and user experience. The Application does not collect personally identifiable information unless explicitly required for functionality.
The Application requests the following permissions strictly for core functionality and only when required:
The Camera permission is used to capture live images and videos for the DigiScope Camera functionality. Camera access is active only while the user is actively using camera features inside the Application.
The Microphone permission is used only during user-initiated video recording to capture audio along with video. Audio is never recorded in the background.
Storage access is used to save, view, and manage photos and videos captured within the Application. The Application does not access unrelated personal files.
Location permission is optional and used only when the user explicitly enables it to add location metadata to captured photos or videos. The Application functions fully without this permission.
If enabled by the user, the Application may access approximate location data only to:
Add optional location metadata to captured media
Improve app functionality in an anonymized manner
Location data is not collected continuously, not tracked in the background, and not shared in personally identifiable form.
The Application uses third-party services that may collect limited device and usage information in accordance with their own privacy policies. These services include:
Google Play Services
AdMob (ads may be displayed within the Application)
Google Analytics for Firebase
Firebase Crashlytics
Only aggregated and anonymized data is shared to help improve app performance, stability, and reliability.
The Service Provider may disclose information only:
When required by law
To protect user safety, rights, or investigate fraud
To trusted service providers who process data on behalf of the Service Provider and comply with this Privacy Policy
You can stop all information collection by uninstalling the Application using standard uninstall procedures available on your device or app marketplace.
The Application does not target children under the age of 13.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
If such information is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.
