Chapter 7: Kappamon's Tears

Evander had asked Kappamon why she hated Aqualia so much that she wanted to see it destroyed. After being silent, Evander harshly shouted for her to talk. Kappamon was no longer bound by the handcuffs like she was when she was shapeshifted into Jessica's form. She had slowly and discreetly wiggled out of them. "I think I've answered enough of your questions." Kappamon said. "Water Blaster!" Kappamon shouted before shooting high pressure water out of her mouth. Jessica was crouching down directly in front of her, so she got hit and got sent backwards. "Jessica!" Evander called out as he looked over to see his wife lying on her back. As soon as Evander had looked over in Jessica's direction, Kappamon jumped up and punched him in the jaw. She started to run for the ocean. Evander looked to his Digimon and shouted "She's making a run for it! Stop her!" Terriermon extended his ears and started twirling around really fast. "Terrier Tornado!" He shouted. By spinning around, he created a miniature tornado which he sent at Kappamon. It hit Kappamon and threw her up into the air. She then fell onto her back.

Kappamon started running towards Terriermon. "Looks like I'll have to fight my way out. Claw Swipe!" She swiped at Terriermon with her claw, but Terriermon dodged it by jumping backward. "Bunny Blast!" Terriermon shouted as he fired several small green energy balls at Kappamon. Kappamon got hit and grunted in pain. "Water Blast!" Kappamon shouted, firing a big stream of water at Terriermon. Terriermon dodged it by jumping to his right. "Bunny Blast!" He retaliated. Kappamon didn't try to dodge, but countered with her Water Blast. This time, the Water Blast hit Terriermon.

Agumon tried a sneak attack. He ran up to Kappamon to slice her with his claws but she dodged it by jumping up. She came down on Agumon's head like she was Mario and he, a goomba. "Ow!" Agumon cried out. Kappamon had turned around, attempting to head for the sea again to rendezvous with her master. She was running towards the sea while looking back at the Agumon she just trounced. When she looked back in the ocean's direction, she saw Ladybugmon hovering there. "No, you don't! Super Sonic!" Ladybugmon said. Ladybugmon's Super Sonic is his signature move. It sends small air currents to slice the enemy. Kappamon got hit and took some damage. "This isn't good. There's too many of them." Kappamon said before hearing Agumon cry out "Pepper Breath!" She soon was hit in the back by a fire ball. She grunted in pain and fell to the sand. She started to get up again and run but Jessica's Gabumon got in her way this time. "Blue Blaster!" He attacked, sending her back to the ground. Kappamon had taken some serious damage. Evander started walking towards her. "That's what happens when you resist arrest. Now, stop all of this and answer the rest of our questions." Evander said. Kappamon started to glow. "Kappamon...digivolve to….Kappamamon!" Kappamon was now a huge quadruped Digimon with a dinosaur-like body, big yellow noodle-like hair, and two cannons on its back. Kappamamon was her name. "She digivolved!" Jessica said. Kappamamon looked down at Evander's and Jessica's Digimon. She pointed the cannons that were on her back in their direction. "Hydro Cannons!" Kappamamon shouted. Kappamamon's voice was rough and raspy, deep, but still a distinctly female voice. Kappamamon had shot two powerful blasts of water out of her cannons in Ladybugmon's, Agumon's, Terriermon's, Leormon's, Gabumon's, Pawnchessmon's, and Betamon's direction. They all got hit and were sent way back.

Evander, Jessica, and Samantha all took out their digivices. While Evander and Jessica had digivices that heavily resembled smartphones, Samantha's Digivice was a D-Power like the ones Evander and Jessica used back when they were children. The words "DIGIVOLUTION" came across the screens of all 3 digivices in big capital green letters against a black background.

Their Digimon stood ready to fight in their champion forms. Garurumon ran up to Kappamamon's face. "Howling Blaster!" He yelled as he shot a stream of blue fire straight in the quadruped Digimon's face. Kappamamon quickly turned around and slapped Gaurumon backwards with her massive tail. "Garurumon!" Jessica cried out in concern. Garurumon got back up. "What you've caused Jessica to go through is unforgivable. I won't let you get away!" Garurumon said before charging at Kappamamon again. "Howling Blaster!" He shouted. More blue flames shot out at Kappamamon. Kappamamon took some more damage. Greymon had come forward. Although it took some effort, he managed to lift the massive dinosaur-like Digimon and toss her up into the air. "Nova Blast!" Greymon shouted before shooting a big fire ball at her. The fire ball hit Kappamamon while she was in mid air. As soon as she landed Leomon ran up and took his sword out of his sheath. He started hacking and slicing at Kappamamon but found he wasn't doing any damage. Her hide was incredibly thick. Kappamamon slapped Leomon back with her large claw. Leomon got back up and attacked again. "Fist Of The Beast King!" He shouted before unleashing a cluster of energy resembling a lion's face at Kappamamon. Kappamamon turned around and let the attack hit her hard shell, leaving her unscathed. Kappamamon started spinning and fired high speed water out of both of her cannons. This way she could manage to hit all of their Digimon simultaneously. They all took some damage.

Samantha's Seadramon slithered over to Kappamamon. "Ice Blast!" Seadramon shot absolute zero breath out of its mouth. This froze the opposing Kappamamon. Greymon ran over to Kappamamon while she was frozen. "Great Horns Attack!" The ice broke and Kappamamon's undershell was punctured. She cried out in pain as Greymon's horns sank into her flesh. "Damn you! Damn you!" Kappamamon shouted. Greymon, unfortunately, was stuck. Kappamamon turned her cannons down towards Greymon and shot a "Hydro Cannons!" at him. Greymon was forced back.

"Nova Blast! Nova Blast! Nova Blast! Nova Blast!" Greymon shouted, firing a large fire ball each time. Kappamamon got hit with each of them and grunted in pain.

"Howling Blaster! Howling Blaster! Howling Blaster! Howling Blaster!" Garurumon shouted, shooting a stream of blue flames out of his mouth each time. Kappamamon got hit and grunted in pain.

Gargomon ran up to Kappamamon's head and aimed his gatling guns at it. "Gargo Pellets!" He fired a bunch of rubber bullets into Kappamamon's head, causing her to grunt in pain.

"Ice Blast!" Seadramon shouted before spewing a stream of frozen breath which froze Kappamamon again. Gargomon then ran around to Kappamamon's underbelly which had been punctured by Greymon's horns earlier. "Gargo Pellets!" He cried out before firing his gatling guns at the cracked place. The under belly took even more damage and cracked more. Garurumon ran up to Gargomon and said "Her under shell! It's cracked!" Gargomon nodded. "Yep. This is obviously a weak spot. Let's destroy this under shell and hit her with everything we got."

All of the Digimon agreed. Greymon ran up and flipped Kappamamon completely on her back. She was now helpless. She couldn't get up. Just like a turtle. Greymon jumped up onto her underbelly and so did Garurumon and BoxerInsectmon. Leomon, KnightChessmon, and Seadramon also came over.

"Nova Blast!"

"Howling Blaster!"

"Gargo Pellets!"

"Sonic Boom!"

"Fist Of The Beast King!"

"Water Shock!"

"Big Darts!"

All 7 Digimon attacked simultaneously, aiming at Kappamamon's underbelly. Their attacks hit, and the shell completely shattered, revealing soft white reptilian flesh underneath. "Now's your chance to give up." Garurumon said. Kappamamon started to glow again. Everyone jumped away. "Kappamamon...digivolve to….AK-Mermaidmon!" Everyone was surprised to see Kappamon digivolve not just once, but twice. "Again!?" Samantha exclaimed. AK-Mermaidmon looked like a mermaid with short blonde hair, blue eyes, and red lipstick, with red leaf-like cloths covering her breasts. She had an AK 47 gun in both hands, and two bandoliers that went over her breasts in an X shape, holding her ammo. "Mermaid Pellets!" She cried out, as she fired her guns. Her voice was much more feminine sounding and less rough. She fired her guns with abandon, moving them around in her arms so that she made sure all the Digimon on the battlefield got hit. The bullets hit the Digimon and they cried out in pain. They fell over. "I'm going back to rendezvous with my master! You won't stop me!"

The words "DIGIVOLUTION" came across the screens of all 3 digivices in big capital green letters against a black background.

"Greymon…"

"Gargomon...."

"Garurumon…"

"BoxerInsectmon…"

"Leomon…"

"Digivolve to…."

"MetalGreymon!"

"Rapidmon!"

The Digimon prepared to attack again. "Mermaid Pellets!" AK-Mermaidmon shouted, firing her guns again. MetalGreymon just shielded himself with his big metal arm. The guns bounced off the metal arm and MetalGreymon took no damage. MetalGreymon opened the metal casing on his chest and fired big dark grey missiles. "Giga Blaster!" AK-Mermaidmon reached behind her and switched her AK-47 for a rocket launcher. "Ariel's Rocket!" The rocket fired hit MetalGreymon's missiles and, as a result, the two attacks cancelled each other out. WereGarurumon attempted to run up to AK-Mermaidmon, but she quickly switched back to her AK-47 and started firing at him. Fortunately for WereGarurumon, MetalGreymon put his Trident Arm right in front of him to shield him from her bullets.

"Rapid Fire! Rapid Fire! Rapid Fire! Rapid Fire!" Rapidmon attacked, sending missiles out of his hands each time he cried out his attack name. AK-Mermaidmon used her tail and arms to jump around and dodge each attack. WereGarurumon used Rapidmon as a distraction so he could get close to her. "Kaiser Nail!" This attack cuts the opponents to pieces with the sharp claws on both of his hands. AK-Mermaidmon got hit in the back and cried out in pain. She immediately reached around and tried to smack WereGarurumon with her gun, but he jumped back and narrowly avoided it. "Garuru Kick!" WereGarurumon shouted before kicking the blonde heat-packing mermaid in the jaw. She switched to her rocket launcher. "Ariel's Rocket!" WereGarurumon got hit. This hurt him pretty badly. He fell to the ground and struggled to get back up. Rapidmon attacked with Golden Triangle. AK-Mermaidmon dodged it.

"Thunder Javilin!" MegaSeadramon attacked, sending lightning out of the horn on its head at AK-Mermaimon. AK-Mermaimon was fried by the electricity. "Thunder Javilin! Thunder Javilin! Thunder Javilin!" MegaSeadramon cried out as he attacked over and over.

Tankbugmon: Bug Spray! Bug Spray! Bug Spray! Bug Spray!

MetalGreymon: Giga Blaster! Giga Blaster! Giga Blaster!

Rapidmon: Rapid Fire! Rapid Fire! Rapid Fire! Rapid Fire!

BishopChessmon: Bishop Laser!

GrapLeomon: The King of Fists!

WereGarurumon: Kaiser Nail!

MegaSeadramon: Lightning Javelin!

All of the attacks hit and AK-Mermaidmon struggles to get up. She was moaning in pain, lying flat on her back. She thought to herself "Damn. I've been losing this fight from the very beginning. But…" the image of a man with long green hair walking up a beach flashed in her mind. "I can't give up!" She finished saying mentally. AK-Mermaimon began glowing again. "Crap. Look out. She's digivolving to Mega!" WereGarurumon said. "Let's beat her to the punch." MegaSeadramon said. Evander, Jessica, and Samantha all took out their digivices. Again, the words "DIGIVOLUTION" flashed across them in big green letters.

"MetalGreymon digivolve to….WarGreymon!"

"WereGarurumon digivolve to...MetalGarurumon!"

"GrapLeomon digivolve to….SaberLeomon!"

"Rapidmon digivolve to….MegaGargomon!"

"MegaSeadramon digivolve to….MetalSeadramon!"

"BishopChessmon digivolve to….KingChessmon!"

The words "BIOMERGE DIGIVOLUTION" came across Evander's Digivice. Evander's body was suddenly digitized and he began to merge with TankBugmon. "TankBugmon biomerge to...MedievalGallantmon!" Ladybugmon had two mega forms; MedievalGallantmon and Hornetmon. Unfortunately, the latter was a dark digivolution that bore some anatomical similarities to TyrantKabuterimon. Jessica's Leormon also had two megas, one of which was a biomerge; BanchoLeomon. But he could also regular mega evolve into a SaberLeomon. Fortunately, this wasn't a corrupted form.

AK-Mermaidmon finished her digivolution at the same time as the Digidestined's. "AK-Mermaidmon digivolve to...KnightMermaidmon!" She was now a mermaid clad in medieval knight armor, wielding a sword and shield.

KnightMermaimon lunged at WarGreymon and attacked him with her sword. WarGreymon blocked the attack with his two arms covered in Dramon Destroyers. WarGreymon then jumped back and retaliated by winging one of his arms. "Mega Claw!" KnightMermaidmon blocked with her shield. Unbeknownst to her, MetalGarurumon had come up right behind her. "Garuru Tomahawk!" MetalGarurumon shouted. MetalGarurumon did a backflip and fired a missile from its chest. The missile hit KnightMermaidmon and knocked her forward. KnightMermaimon tried to stand up but MegaGargomon flew over from her left and kicked her in the face. Although she was wearing a medieval knight helmet, the powerful kick still hurt. "Howling Crusher!" SaberLeomon attacked from her right. SaberLeomon's powerful claw cut through the chain armor and actually damaged her back. Their attacks were becoming more and more relentless. She was getting worried. She was on the losing side of this battle even when they were all at the Rookie level, but continuing to digivolve didn't give her any advantage. She had gone Mega now and she was still on the losing side of this fight. A Digimon who was powerful enough could give even a group of Digimon a run for their money, and Evander and Jessica had known past battles where all their Digimon were facing one enemy, but still had to put forth a lot of effort to win. This battle was not like that. Their Digimon were more powerful than her and they outnumbered her. KnightMermaidmon's thoughts were interrupted by another powerful kick from MegaGargomon that sent her tumbling into the shallow ocean area. KnightMermaidmon quickly got up. She pointed her sword at all of the Mega level Digimon and started firing laser beams from them "Sword Beam!" She cried out. She was desperate. She aimed at each Digimon in rapid succession and fired off a round of beams from her sword as though she was playing Duck Hunt on hard mode.

WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, MegaGargomon, and the others all got hit with multiple laser beams, but took mild damage. She kept firing relentlessly. She knew if she could hit them enough times that, even though her attacks weren't doing much, they could eventually widdle their health down to nothing. "Sword Beam! Sword Beam! Sword Beam! Sword Beam! Sword Beam! Sword Beam! Sword Beam! Sword Beam!" She kept shouting as beams of energy fired from her sword. The 7 Mega Digimon got hit with a barrage of laser beams. WarGreymon was really the only one not taking any damage at all, much less mild damage. He had been blocking each laser beam with the Brave Shields on his back. These shields were normally worn on WarGreymon's back, but he could equip them on his arms and put them together to block frontal attacks. That was what he was doing. WarGreymon thought to himself "I was going to wait until she took a break from firing, but if I just stand here, all of my comrades will fall!" WarGreymon ran forward in KnightMermaimon's direction, continuing to hold the Brave Shields in front of him to protect himself. KnightMermaimon panicked. "Damn it!" She cried out, realizing her attack wasn't penetrating WarGreymon's shields. She put her own shield up and it started to glow in a whitish blue light. "Shield of Atlantis!" KnightMermaimon shouted. A powerful energy blast burst forth from her shield at light speed and hit WarGreymon. WarGreymon was sent flying backwards into the jungle behind him. He felled several trees as a result of crashing through each one. WarGreymon slowly sat up and moaned. His Brave Shields had protected him from any frontal damage from her Shield Of Atlantis blast, but he had taken a bit of damage from the back by crashing through all those trees. "I guess I should have shouted 'Timber'" WarGreymon joked as he got back up and headed back for the beach.

When WarGreymon made it back, he saw that MetalGarurumon was biting down hard on KnightMermaidmon's right arm. Meanwhile, MegaGargomon was holding her other arm, and MedievalGallantmon was punching her repeatedly in the face. Her helmet was gone, revealing the blonde woman's face underneath that was visible in her previous stage. The 3 Digimon had used WarGreymon's approach as an opportunity to get closer. When KnightMermaidmon had fired her Shield of Atlantis at WarGreymon, it gave the others just enough time to get close to her and continue their gang up attack. "You should give up. You're outnumbered and we're stronger than you." MedievalGallantmon said. KnightMermaidmon glared at him with a look that could kill. "Eat Numemon sludge and die!" She said before spitting on him. MedievalGallantmon shook his head and folded his arms. "If you don't stop, we might kill you. We've been holding back to avoid reverting you back into a Digi-Egg. We need you alive so you can answer the rest of our questions." He said.

When Digimon were killed, they were reverted back to DigiEggs, and after some time, the DigiEgg would hatch and they would be reborn in the form of a Baby level Digimon. Some Digimon retained their memories from their previous life after hatching, but others were completely wiped. Complete amnesia was the most common result, so Digimon usually didn't want be fatally injured. Being reverted to a Digi-Egg was no trivial thing. Losing one's memories of everything they once were, everyone they once knew, and all of the happy and painful times they shared, was something no Digimon wanted to go through. KnightMermaidmon thought to herself about this. But she had that flash of a man with long green hair flash through her mind again. He was smiling at her. She remembered him saying "You may be a Digimon, but you're more beautiful than any Aqualian mermaid I've met, and I've met loads." Tears started to fill KnightMermaimon's eyes. "I can't give up. I have to do this….for you!" Suddenly, her body started glowing "Mermaid…..Apocalypse!" She cried out before unleashing omni-directional bursts of energy out of every part of her body. The Mega Level Digimon got pushed back and cried out. They took major damage from this new attack! Soon they all found themselves lying on their backs, groaning in pain. Jessica and Samantha stood nearby looking astonished. "MetalGarurumon! SaberLeomon! KingChessmon!" Jessica cried out. "MetalSeadramon!" Samantha shouted.

KnightMermaidmon's face was badly bruised, her armor had several cracks in it. She was holding herself up by both of her arms as ocean water partially submerged her. She was grunting and panting. She glared over at the 7 Digimon. "Please. Don't…..get….back…..up." She said. She wondered if she had enough strength to make it to the destination she had been fighting to leave for. She felt like she could collapse at any moment.

MetalGarurumon, WarGreymon, MegaGargomon, MedievalGallantmon, SaberLeomon, KingChessmon, and MetalSeadramon all slowly got up, continuing to groan. MetalGarurumon glared at KnightMermaidmon and snarled. "Let's all attack the sea witch at once, shall we!" MetalGarurumon said. "Yeah, let's go!" replied WarGreymon.

WarGreymon formed a massive ball of energy above his head. "Terra Force!" He called out before tossing it at KnightMermaidmon.

"Ice Wolf Claw!" MetalGaurumon shouted. This attack caused missiles to launch from all the places hidden in its body.

"Mega Barrage!" MegaGargomon fired both of the giant missiles on its shoulders as well as missiles on the revolver like weapons on its arms.

"River Of Power!" MetalSeadramon shot a beam of energy out of his mouth.

"Rage Of Wyvern!" MedievalGallantmon fired an energy blast in the shape of a wyvern from Dynas; his weapon. When MedievalGallantmon called out its attack name, the voice of Evander and Ladybugmon could be heard speaking in unison. It was like with the Hudiemon they had met the day before.

"King Stick!" KingChessmon attacked. This attack was a simple whacking of its septor.

"Infinity Arrows!" SaberLeomon attacked, by hardening the countless hairs on its body and firing them at the enemy like a barrage of needles.

KnightMermaidmon was hit with all of their attacks at once. She cried out in pain and was sent backwards. She was blown back into deeper waters. She appeared to be unconscious. She did lose consciousness for a second, but quickly regained it. She slowly sat up, grunting loudly in pain. Every move she made caused pain to shoot throughout her body. KnightMermaidmon held her shield up in an attempt to attack. KnightMermaimon's arm was shaking severly, and so was the shield as a result. "Shield….of…." She lost consciousness again and fell back. After she had fallen back, she dedigivolved back to her rookie form; Kappamon.

Kappamon had a dream while unconscious. But it wasn't just a dream, it was a memory.

The Dream/Memory…

A man with long green hair, no shirt, and a merman tail was swimming alongside Kappamon. They were in a rush to get somewhere. It was night time and the ocean floor was illuminated by artificial lights. "I think it was somewhere around." The green haired man said. Kappamon looked around and saw a large MarineDevimon rise up out of the ground. "That's it. The digital gate opened around here." He said. Kappamon clenched her little claws into fists and got in front of the green haired man. "Posi, I'm ready to fight if you are." She said. Posi was the name of the merman accompanying Kappamon. Posi nodded and reached into the satchel around his waist, pulling out a digivice. "Right. But MarineDevimon is an Ultimate level Digimon, so you'll have to go Ultimate too." The words "DIGIVOLUTION" came across his digivice in big green words across a black background. Kappamon started to glow.

"Kappamon digivolve to...Kappamamon!"

"Kappamamon digivolve to….AK-Mermaidmon!"

AK-Mermamon pointed both of her guns at the MarineDevimon. The MarineDevimon had been rampaging and destroyed some small houses. No one was in the area because they had all fled when MarineDevimon started attacking. AK-Mermaimon whistled to get the big Digimon's attention. "Hey, big boy!" She said. MarineDevimon turned and looked at her. "Mermaid Pellets!" She yelled before firing a plethroa of bullets at the Digimon. MarineDevimon took a couple of steps back in pain. AK-Mermaidmon kept shooting her bullets at MarineDevimon relentlessly until he slapped her back with one of his tentacle-like arms. "Evil Wing!" MarineDevimon shouted. AK-Mermaimon got hit in the chest and was knocked backwards. Posi looked over at the blonde mermaid Digimon. "AK-Mermaidmon! Are you ok?" He asked. AK-Mermaimon regained her posture. "Yeah." She said. She raised her guns to attack again, but Marine Devimon had run up to and was right upon her. He took his massive foot and pushed AK-Mermaidmon down to the ocean floor. AK-Mermaidmon grunted in pain. MarineDevimon lifted his foot and stomped down on her again. He stomped on her again, and again, and again. AK-Mermaimon didn't have time to aim, so she just randomly started firing her bullets hoping she'd hit MarineDevimon. She missed a few times, but eventually got him right in the eyes. He stepped back. "My eyes! I'm blind!" MarineDevimon shouted, his massive white hands covering his face. AK-Mermaidmon swam back a little and fired her guns again at MarineDevimon. "Mermaid Pellets!" She yelled. MarineDevimon took more damage. She continued firing until MarineDevimon reverted back to a Digi-Egg. AK-Mermaidmon swam over and caught the Digi-Egg as it slowly sank down. Posi swam over to AK-Mermaimon and gave her a big hug from behind. "Oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about! That's MY Digimon." Posi said happily while grinning.

Sometime later, Posi and AK-Mermaidmon were sitting on a beach. Posi's mermaid tail had morphed into human legs. They were sitting next to each other looking out at the ocean waves. "You were amazing today, AK-Mermaidmon." Posi said while staring out at the sea. AK-Mermaidmon looked at him as though surprised to hear him say that. She looked away and frowned. Unsure of herself. "You really think so?" She asked. Posi shifted his gaze from the ocean to her. "Of course! That wasn't a long battle at all. You took down that MarineDevimon in no time! You're getting stronger." He said. AK-Mermaidmon smiled. "Thank you. But I wouldn't be this strong if not for you." She said. Posi then stared at AK-Mermaidmon for a moment. "How come you haven't de-digivolved back to Kappamon? Don't you normally dedigivolve back to Rookie as soon as the battle is over?" He asked. AK-Mermaidmon frowned. "Unfortunately. Digimon who digivolve artificially via a digivice always return back to the form that they last progressed to naturally. I will eventually become Kappamon again, but…." She paused. Posi looked concerned. He could tell something was bothering her. "But….I'm beautiful this way." She said. Posi grinned and gave a thumbs up. "I'll say! You may be a Digimon, but you're more beautiful than any Aqualian mermaid I've met, and I've met loads." Posi said. "Loads!" He emphasized, stretching his arms out to depict the quantity. AK-Mermaidmon looked and him and blushed. Her heart started fluttering in her chest. She looked away so Posi wouldn't see her blushing. She looked out at the ocean. "If I could….I'd stay like this. I'm….so ugly...as Kappamon." AK-Mermaidmon said in a sad tone of voice as she looked down at her hands, hands she knew would soon become webbed, scaly claws. "Nonsense! I think Kappamon is really cute!" Posi said. AK-Mermaidmon quickly looked in his direction with a surprised expression on her face. "You looked surprised." Posi observed. "Well, yes. You're the only one to ever tell me that. Even other reptilian Digimon have always called me ugly. And even the ones who never said anything, I could tell from the looks on their faces the moment they first met me." AK-Mermaidmon said. Posi placed his thumb over AK-Mermaimon's left hand and gently caressed it. "'A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it. The truth is the truth even if no one believes it'. That's a quote from someone on Earth. AK-Mermaidmon, even if the entire Digital World thinks you're ugly, even if the entire physical universe thinks you're ugly. It's just not true. You're beautiful, whether this hand is soft and smooth like it is now, or scaly and webby like when you're Kappamon, whether you have luscious red lips, or a yellow bill." He said. AK-Mermaidmon blushed even more and her heart began thumping wildly. AK-Mermaidmon began glowing and soon shrank. When the glow disappeared, she was Kappamon again. Posi stood up, reached down and picked Kappamon up. He held her up high like one would a baby. "There's my little cutie." He said with a big smile on his face.

Dream/Memory Over….

Kappamon woke up. "A memory…" She thought. She then heard Evander's voice. "Hey. You're finally awake." He said. She looked over at him. "You were trying to cross the border." He said before smiling. Jessica pointed at him. "I understood that reference." She said. Gabumon pointed at Jessica. "I understood THAT reference." Gabumon said. Kappamon had been bandaged up. It was night time now, and Samantha had gone and gotten a first aid kit to treat her while she was unconscious. Kappamon was not restrained in any way. She looked confused at this fact. "We didn't restrain you because we knew you were too hurt to try to escape again. I'm sorry about that. Hope you don't report me for police brutality." Evander said. Jessica was making vegetable soup over a fire. "You're free to have some of this vegetable soup I'm making. Agumon and Gabumon went into the jungle earlier and bought some from a man who lived in a small hut. Imagine finding a garden growing veggies in a jungle of all places." Jessica said. Kappamon looked confused. "Why are you being so nice to me? I literally framed you for treason." Kappamon said. Jessica smiled. "I'm angry at you, for sure. However, just because someone wrongs me doesn't mean I ought to wrong them in return." She replied. Given what happened with the Tylomon and Kinandon, she felt hypocritical saying this, but she resolved to repay evil with good. She had scared herself with her homicidal and genocidal emotions before, and she swore to herself to never let her anger overcome her like that again.

Jessica prepared a bowl for everyone. They ate. "Oh boy! This is delicious!" Agumon said. "My compliments to the chef!" Gabumon said. "Yummy nummy! Yummy nummy! This food will go into my tummy!" Ladybugmon sang. Evander looked down at Kappamon. He knew she was too hurt to try to escape again, but his experience as a detective made him very keen and astute. He studied her every move closely, sometimes looking right at her, but mostly making sure she was at least in his peripheral vision. "You'll answer the rest of the questions we have after you finish your meal." Evander said. Kappamon grabbed her bowl and a spoon and took a bite of the soup. Her eyes lit up. "Is it good? I'm used to making vegetable soup, but the vegetables here on Aqualia are different than the ones on Earth, so I wasn't sure how it'd taste." Jessica said. Kappamon didn't answer, but took another bite of the soup. "I'm guessing that's a yes." Terriermon said. Kappamon started shoveling it in quickly. Ladybugmon raised one of his arms. "I'm guessing that's a BIG yes!" He said.

Later, after they had eaten, Everyone was sitting around Kappamon. A campfire was going; the same one Jessica used to cook the soup over. They were near the fire for both warmth and light. "Ok, so let's begin with what we have so far. You took Jessica's identity because you wanted Kinandon to bear a personal grudge against her. You wanted Kinandon to begrudge Jessica out of all people because you knew she is a descendent of the Sebastian Poseidon and ergo, has the powers of a goddess. At least potentially. She can't really control them well right now." Evander said, in the tone of what you'd expect from an interrogating sleuth. Jessica frowned at the comment that she couldn't control her powers. It was true, but it just reminded her of what she feared. "You want Jessica to use her powers to destroy Aquallia. This is something both you and Agent Salvation desire." Evander continued. Kappamon nodded. "That's right." She affirmed. Evander put his hand on his chin and rubbed it, his index finger and thumb going through his beard. "Now onto what we don't know." Evander said before getting up. He paced around back and forth on the other side of the campfire. "Why do you hate Aqualia so much? What could drive a small Digimon like yourself to hate this planet so much that she'd be willing to have it war against a planet harboring a virtual goddess just to see it wiped out? What's your motive? What is it that drives you?" Evander asked. Kappamon frowned.

Kappamon then took a deep breath. She was about to relive a wonderful...and also horrible past. "It all started 14 years ago. I was a lone Digimon who lived in a lake on the Continent Of Server in the Digital World. I could never make any friends. Everyone thought I was ugly. One time, a group of several Agumon and Dracomon mocked my looks until I cried. 'What a weird looking Digimon!' one of them said. 'I think I'm going to spew my digi-guts' said another. I thought I was used to name calling and ridicule, but these Agumon and Dracomon wouldn't let up. I had sought out reptilian Digimon because I thought that I looked more similar to them, but it was no use." Kappamon explained. Evander's Agumon scowled. "That's terrible! Those guys almost make me ashamed to be an Agumon!" He said, outraged. Kappamon was looking into the fire as she talked. "Then one day, a group of Digimon came into my home. They consisted of ChaosGallantmon, Kazuhamon, Piedmon, and D'arcmon." Kappamon said. "The Anti-Royal Knights." Evander said. "They opened a portal to the real world and stepped through it. I was hiding nearby, and looked. It took the portal a while to close. Curiosity got the best of me and I went through it to see what awaited me on the other side. It was a mostly watery world called Aqualia. The portal closed behind me. I was terrified. I was in a world I knew nothing about and didn't know how to get back to my own. I swam around what I later found out to be Aqualia. After an hour of swimming around - I was searching for The Anti-Royal Knights hoping they would help me get back - I saw an orange haired girl and a green haired girl fighting a MetalPirhannamon with a bunch of Ebidramon. They were commanding Digimon of their own, using small devices to make them digivolve on command. I had never seen anything like it before." Kappamon explained.

Jessica thought that was interesting. That description matched the battle against The Anti-Royal Knight's lackeys she engaged in when she was 11 years old, back in what would be considered the year 2006 on Earth. She had battled a MetalPirahnnamon and a bunch of Ebidramon using her Gabumon, Leormon, and Pawnchessmon. The green haired girl must have been Samantha and her Betamon. That was the last time she'd visited her home planet after her mother took her to Earth fleeing King Ahab.

Kappamon continued, "The two girls and their Digimon defeated the MetalPirhannamon and Ebidramon. Their Digimon reverted back to their fresh forms and they went into some sea hut. I was going to go talk to them. I thought that surely they would know a way back to the Digital World. When I began to approach the hut, I was chased away by a predatory creature. I swam from the creature until I was backed into a corner. I turned around and fired my Water Needles attack in its eye. It got startled and swam off. When I went back to the sea hut later, the two girls (and the boy who joined them mid-battle) and their Digimon had left.

I swam underwater to meet the people of this planet so I could investigate ways to get home. Everyone treated me like a freak. I was shunned, some women screamed when they saw me, men tried to kill me. They thought I was a monster." Kappamon explained. She remembered one Aqualian merman who pointed a laser gun at her. He told Kappamon "I don't know what you are, if you're a frog, a duck, or some demon, but if you don't get away from me, I'll shoot!" Agumon and Terriermon let out sympathetic sighs. "They must have been scared because nothing like you exists here on this planet. This planet's tree of life is a lot like that of Earth. Just as on Earth, the only intelligent life are humans, so on Aqualia, the only intelligent life are merpeople. Seeing a creature like yourself was probably startling." Jessica said. She was silent for a second, then said "I guess fear of the unknown isn't a problem only humans have." She thought about herself. As a child, she was terrified of accidentally going mermaid in front of people. She thought scientists might kidnap her and try to dissect her, or she'd be put in a zoo and forced to do tricks like a dolphin. She can't remember where this fear came from. It might have been a combination of alien movies like E.T and documentaries like "The Quest For Mermaids" which would air late at night on the History Channel which she would watch well past her bedtime, combined with her mother's warnings that they'd be in trouble if she ever revealed her true self to people. Her fear of accidentally going mermaid caused her to swim mostly by herself in lakes and at beaches late at night. She actually met Evander when they were quite young this way. Jessica reverted her tail back into legs before Evander could notice. She finally told him the truth when they went to the Digital World for the first time. She had wanted to confess the truth about her alien identity…and her feelings for him, and finally gained the courage after they became Digidestined. She trusted him completely never to tell anyone, and he never did…except his mom. The only other people she revealed this to were the other digidestined, and that's because aside from Mario and a few others, they were also aliens.

Kappamon looked over at Jessica and leered at her. She said, "You making excuses for your kind, Aquallian?" Kappamon said angrily. Jessica shook her head. "Not at all. We shouldn't be bigoted to those who are different from us. Being surprised to see an intelligent species unlike yourself is natural, but being cruel to them because they are different is inexcusable. I wish you could have found someone like I did who accepted me for who I am." Jessica said.

Kappamon frowned. "Well, I did. For a while. It had been 13 years. I was utterly alone. I had no one to laugh with, no one to cry with, no one to share my opinions and feelings with. I survived on my own, eating fish I caught, eating fruits and vegetables I found on dry land, and pretty much anything I could find. I wandered this planet like a vagabond for a little over a decade. As time went on, I became more and more depressed, and I became more and more embittered towards the tailed people who treated me like a leper. My loneliness consumed more and more of me day by day. Some nights I would cry myself to sleep and other nights I wouldn't sleep at all. One day, about 2 years ago, the physical world and the Digital World became as one. Digimon appeared all over the place. Some caused trouble, others were confused at where they were, and others were like children in a magical wonderland." Kappamon said. Evander had been pacing. He stopped and turned to Kappamon. "That must have the Digital Shift that Crusadermon and Suedo caused." Evander said. Agumon stood up and ran over to Evander. "Really? You mean it affected more than your planet, Evander?" Agumon asked. Evander turned to Agumon, who was standing to his right, and said "Yeah. I'm not surprised that it affected the cosmos. Our whole universe is one unified space-time realm. In fact, all our planets are held together by what scientists call the fundamental forces; the strong and weak nuclear force bind atoms together, and gravity keeps the planets in motion. Electromagnetism affects electrons in atomic orbits. These 4 forces affect our 93 billion lightyear wide universe. So, of course we'd expect that if our world co-mingled with another, it wouldn't be confined to a single planet." Evander said. Agumon was scratching his head. "Were you always this smart?" He asked. Evander chuckled. "Nope. I used to be stupid. Remember when I tried to punch a 40 foot tall Devimon?" He said. "Oh yeah! That was pretty dumb!" Agumon said before laughing. "Yeah, I used to think solely with the right side of my brain. I have grown a lot since our first adventure. I guess you could say I digivolved." Evander said. Jessica loudly cleared her voice. When Evander looked over to her, she was motioning with her hand over to Kappamon. Evander got sidetracked. Evander cleared his own throat and looked back over to Kappamon. "Anyway, continue your story, Kappamon."

Kappamon had a warm feeling as she watched Evander and Agumon reminisce about their past. It reminded her of her Posi. "Well, like I said, there were trouble making Digimon and there were others who left people alone. Some of the Digimon who came here drowned and reverted to Digi-Eggs because they weren't fit for this environment. Others were either water types or they were lucky to have landed on one of this planet's relatively few landmasses. I one day found myself being chased by a hungry DarkTyrannomon on this very island. I was sure he was going to eat me and absorb my data. But just as he was closing in, a man with long green hair came to my rescue. He had a harpoon in his hand which he used against the DarkTyrannomon." Kappamon explained.

Flashback….

The DarkTyrannomon screamed in pain. It reached down and pulled the harpoon out. "You'll get more where that came from if you don't get out of here." Posi said. He ran over and kneeled down to help Kappamon get up. He took ahold of her scaly webbed hand and helped her to her feet. "Are you all right, little guy?" He asked. Kappamon looked offended. "I'm a girl!" She barked. Posi looked taken aback. "Oh! My apologies, miss." Posi said. Posi smiled and rubbed the back of his head. "I've never seen your species before, so I can't really tell the difference. But I hope you're not hurt." He said. Kappamon was surprised that this Aqualian was being so nice to him. Soon the DarkTyrannomon started charging at him. "You dare interrupt my hunt!?" The DarkTyrannomon said angrily. Posi turned around. The DarkTyrannomon swung at him with his claw. Posi jumped to the side, avoiding his attack. "Listen Piscis-Sapien, you get out of here. This is a DarkTyrannomon from my world. He'll chew you up and spit you out." Kappamon said. Kappamon was surprised at herself. Why did she care what happened to this merman? His kind had been so cruel to her. The DarkTyrannomon began to attack again "Fire Blast!" He shouted before spewing a stream of flames out of his mouth. The flames were headed straight for Kappamon. Kappamon stood trembling as fire about to consume her. She closed her eyes, and when she opened them, she saw Posi standing in front of the attack to protect her! He screamed in pain as the flames scorched his back. Kappamon gasped in shock. "You fool! Why did you do that!?" She asked. Posi gritted his teeth in pain, but let out a smile. "I never turn my back on someone in need." He said. He reached into his satchel and took out some pills. He quickly put them in his mouth and swallowed them. In a matter of minutes, the burns healed. Posi picked Kappamon up and started running. "What are you doing!? Put me down!" Kappamon objected. The DarkTyrannomon chased them, knocking down some trees as it ran.

Posi looked back and then looked forward. His face fell as he realized he had inadvertently run to one of the small towns on the island. "Oh no. I've put everyone in danger." He said. Kappamon managed to break free of Posi's grip. "It's no use. We'll have to fight." Kappamon said. "Do you really think you can fight something that big?" Posi said. "I have to try. Besides, if I die….it hasn't been a good life anyway." Kappamon said, sadness filling her voice. The DarkTyrannomon was now standing in front of them. "Water Needles!" Kappamon shouted before firing high pressure small streams of water at the enemy. DarkTyrannomon got hit with the attack but blocked them with his arm. He didn't seem phased. "Heheh! That tickled." He taunted. "Water Needles! Water Needles! Water Needles! Water Needles!" Kappamon attacked repeatedly. None of the attacks did any damage. "Dark Nail! Dark Nail!" DarkTyrannomon attacked. This attack slashes with its claws. Kappamon dodged both attacks. Kappamon jumped up onto DarkTyrannomon's arm and ran up his arm so that she was near his face. "Water Blast!" She yelled before shooting a big stream of high pressure water in his face. DarkTyrannomon winced. It didn't feel very good, but it wasn't a damaging attack either. DarkTyrannomon reached in to eat Kappamon. Kappamon jumped up onto the top of DarkTyrannomon's head. She looked down and fired another "Water Blast!" DarkTyrannomon winced again. He reached up and grabbed Kappamon. He grasped her firmly in his claws and growled at her. "You're not even worth eating. I'm just going to kill you and find my meal elsewhere." He said. Posi looked worried. "Hey! Little Lady! No!" He cried out. He ran up and started punching and kicking DarkTyrannomon's leg. "You let her go, you oversized lizard!" He demanded. Kappamon shouted "Don't do that! Get out of here! It's over for me!" DarkTyrannomon reached down and grabbed Posi with his other claw. He held Kappamon and Posi close together. "I think I'll incinerate you both with one blast." DarkTyrannomon said. Kappamon and Posi both grunted as DarkTyrannomon squeezed their bodies which were so small compared to his own.

DarkTyrannomon's mouth began fuming with flames. He was charging up an attack. But then, something unexpected happened. A square device suddenly appeared as though out of nowhere! It glowed brightly and landed in front of Posi. Posi had one good hand free with which to grab the glowing device. It stopped glowing, and when it did, it was revealed to be a green digivice. "A Digivice!" DarkTyrannomon said in surprise. Posi looked over at Kappamon and felt deep compassion for her. He remembered what she said before the fight began. "You damn fool! Why did you try to fight this thing with your puny Aqualian hands!?" Kappamon scolded. "Because….I want…..to be…..your friend." He said, having difficulty speaking because DarkTyrannomon was squeezing him. Kappamon was floored. Someone wanted to be HER friend? The digivice began glowing and suddenly big green words came across the screen as though someone had accessed the device and was typing the letters out in real time; "DIGIVOLUTION".

Kappamon's body began to glow. DarkTyrannomon looked worried. "Crap! I was worried this might happen." He dropped the two.

"Kappamon digivolve to….Kappamamon!"

Kappamon was now a huge quadruped Digimon with a dinosaur-like body, big yellow noodle-like hair, and two cannons on its back. Posi was amazed. "You changed form!" He said in amazement. Kappamamon rushed towards DarkTyrannomon and tackled him. When she had pinned him to the ground, she pointed the cannons on her back down towards him "Hydro Cannons!" Two streams of water at high pressure hit DarkTyrannomon. Kappamon then jumped 50 feet in the air and came down and landed on DarkTyrannomon "Full Body Slam!" DarkTyrannomon reverted back into a DigiEgg.

Kappamamon looked back at Posi, whose jaw was hanging open. She reverted back to her Rookie form. Kappamon approached Posi. "Do you really want to be my friend?" She asked. He nodded. "Of course." He said. "But first, we need to introduce ourselves. My name is Posi." "I'm Kappamon."

Posi held up the device to Kappamon. "What is this? This thing changed you into that big monster that helped saved us." He asked. "It's a digivice. Everyone from my world knows about it by now. 13 years ago, several children were drafted into the Digital World. They used devices just like the one you're holding to help their Digimon partners digivolve. They saved us from great evils." Kappamon explained. Word had gotten around by then, but when Jijimon, Gennai, Krasus etc. first started recruiting Digidestined from around the universe, very few knew of them.

Flashback Over....

Kappamon gently grasped her left arm which was pretty sore from the injuries she sustained. "Posi was my first real friend. He cared about me. He invited me into his home, he cooked meals for me, and he even let me sleep in his bed. I talked to him all the time. One time, very soon after I first gained the ability to digivolve to the Ultimate level, I fought a MarineDevimon and defeated it. I stayed as AK-Mermaidmon for 2 hours after the fight. The first time I achieved that form, the first words out of Posi's mouth were 'So beautiful!' I had been explicitly called ugly by so many Digimon and Aqualians before. And even ones who didn't say it to my face conveyed what they thought by the way they looked at me. So when I digivolved to that form for the second time, the time when we fought MarineDevimon, I wanted to maintain that form for as long as I could. Posi noticed it was taking me longer to revert to Rookie than usual, so he asked me about it. I told him that I wanted to look beautiful for as long as I could. He told me that he thought I was beautiful even as Kappamon." Kappamon explained.

Evander, Jessica, Agumon, Ladybugmon and the others were listening intently as Kappamon told her story. Kappamon caressed her webbed scaly hand. "He said that I was beautiful whether my hand was soft like a woman's or scaly and webbed. His words made my heart sing. I had never been told I was beautiful by anyone before. He made my heart flutter within me like it was going to burst out of my chest. That moment on this very beach 2 years ago was the happiest moment of my life."

Evander nodded. "This Posi sounds like a pretty good guy." He said. "He was. He made my dark, cold, lonely life into one full of light, warmth, and love. One day, the physical and digital worlds went back to normal, and the Digimon who had fallen through the cracks went back to their own world. For some reason, most Aqualians forgot about the Digimon. But I guess since I was present before the shift, I got to stay. I was so glad. For another 3 years, we played together, ate together, and played some more. I loved Posi with every fiber of my being. But ever since that night he first told me I was beautiful, I loved him in a way that…. I don't think a Digimon should ever love their partner." Kappamon explained. Evander looked confused. "I don't follow." Jessica cleared her throat loudly again. "Evander, that's not germane to your interrogation, is it?" She said, almost in a scolding tone of voice. Jessica knew exactly what Kappamon meant, and she didn't want Kappamon to reveal anymore and embarrass herself.

"So what happened to this Posi guy? Why isn't he with you now?" Gabumon asked. "That's right. You seem to be able to digivolve on command without a human partner or digivice." Betamon said.

Kappamon was silent for a moment. "Well?" Evander said, thinking that Kappamon was clamming up again. "He…..was murdered." She said. "Posi was killed by someone who is connected to the royal family (one of the children of the king named Davaqua) because Posi had been forming a friendship with a woman that Prince Davaqua was currently dating. Davaqua was always a jealous type, and although Posi had tried to make it clear that his relationship was purely platonic, Davaqua said that if he didn't stay away from her, he'd be sorry." Kappamon explained, tightening up as she told her story.

Flashback…

Posi and Kappamon swam quickly back to the island where Posi's house was. They were giggling and having a good time. "I think you're getting slower, buddy!" Posi said. Kappamon gave a pouty face. "No, I'm not!" She said as she tried to swim faster. They soon reached land. Posi shifted from merman tail to human legs. Then both Kappamon and Posi ran for their house. "Whoever gets their first has to do the dishes!" He said. They both stopped in their tracks when they saw Davaqua standing in front of their house. "Davaqua!" He said under his breath. Davaqua was fiddling with a ray gun in his hands. "I thought I told you to say away from Marella." He said. Posi nodded. "Yes. You made that quite clear. So, I did." Posi told him. Davaqua nodded his head. "Oh really, then what is this?" Davaqua took out a square electronic device that projected a 3D hologram video. "My drones have been keeping a close eye on you and Marella. My most recent footage shows what you're seeing now." Davaqua explained.

The video showed a woman and Posi standing in front of Posi's house. The woman was slightly shorter than Posi. She had long brown hair that went all the way down her back. She was wearing pink clamshells over her breasts and a sparkling Aqualian loincloth to hide her buttox and front privates. They were standing at the entrance to Posi's house. Posi leaned in and kissed the woman. "Marella, I had an amazing time with you tonight." He said. "Would you like to come inside?" Marella declined. "I have to get back home." She responded. Davaqua pressed a button and turned the video off. "You lied to me in two ways! You not only told me you would stop talking to her, but you also told me your relationship was platonic!" Davaqua said, his voice rising in anger. "Marella told me that you had broke it off with her. I thought she was free to see whoever she wants!" Posi said in defense of himself. Davaqua pulled out his ray gun. "Truth be told, she doesn't like me very much anymore. But what's mine is mine. Now…" He said before pointing the gun down at the Kappamon who was standing next to Posi. "I'll give you a choice. I'll kill you or I can kill your ugly little pet." Posi began sweating. "No! Don't hurt Kappamon! Do whatever you want to me but leave her alone!" Posi pleaded. Davaqua nodded and pointed the ray gun at Posi. "Is that really your choice? What does this ugly little creature mean to you, anyway?" He asked. Posi began trembling. "She's my best friend." He answered. Davaqua began laughing. "Your best friend?" He said, sounding incredulous. "Yes. She means everything to me. Please don't hurt her." Posi pleaded. Davaqua stopped laughing. "Very well." And he fired the ray gun 3 times. The beams of energy ripped right through him, leaving entry holes in his chest and exit holes on his back. His eyes went wide with shock. Posi fell to the ground on his back. Davaqua turned around and swam away. "NOOOOO!!!!!!!!" Kappamon screamed. Kappamon threw herself on Posi's body and began sobbing uncontrollably. Posi was still conscious, but blood was gushing out of his body onto the ground at a rapid rate. A pool of blood was beginning to form. Posi reached into his pocket and grabbed his digivice. He looked at it once last time. He clutched it near to his chest. "Kappamon. Please…..be strong. Whatever….you do…..don't….abandon…...love." Posi said. His digivice was a sign of his strong bond with her. He clutched it to his chest tightly. "Please! Don't leave me! I'll be all alone again!" Kappamon said through her tears. Posi turned over to lay on his stomach. He put his hand up to Kappamon's face and wiped the tears from her eyes. "Remember….you are…..beautiful." He said before taking one last breath and going completely limp. Posi was now lying on top of his right hand which still gripped his digivice. Blood from his wounds cloaked the digivice. Kappamon lost control and started screaming while tears gushed down her face like waterfalls. "POSI! POSI! POSI!!!!!" She screamed. She turned Posi's corpse over. She saw the digivice in his hand drenched in blood. The digivice was beginning to spark wildly. Kappamon guessed that the blood from his wound must have somehow gotten into the inner electronics of the digivice. But wait, that couldn't be it. Digivices were water resistant. He had used it several times underwater. Whatever the case, it had electrical sparks and tiny little lightning bolt shaped electricity all over it.

Kappamon grabbed the digivice from out of Posi's hand and held it up to her chest. "My only friend. I will always love you…" She said as she continued to grieve. The digivice began to glow! Kappamon looked down and saw that her body was somehow absorbing it! She screamed "What!?"

It was dusk when Posi and Kappamon had first arrived at Posi's house. Now, it was the next day. Kappamon had grieved over Posi's body all night long. She finally stopped crying. She stood up and clenched her fist. "Aqualians…." Kappamon said softly before shouting, "They will all pay for this!"

Flashback Over….

Everyone looked at Kappamon sympathetically. "My god." Jessica said while covering her mouth. Evander was also moved by Kappamon's story, but he kept his composure. "I'm sorry for your loss. But….that doesn't justify apocalyptic genocide." Evander said. Kappamon started pounding the ground. "I will make them pay! All Aqualians must suffer and die!" Kappamon said. Kappamon began weeping. "I will never forgive this evil world!" She screamed as tears ran down her face and dropped onto the sand below.
