When a new evil arises, the powers that be must gather Digidestined from not only ever corner of the globe, but every corner of the universe. Normally peaceful Digimon are on a rampage because of "Red Marks". It not only controls them, but it increases their fighting abilities like crazy. Who is behind this and why are they doing it? Join Evander (a human from Earth), Jessica (a mermaid from Aqualia), Mario (A Demi-Wyvern), Flora (A Demi-Felincius from the planet Felincia), and Zai (a "fallen angel" from the planet Devillis) as they team up with their Digimon to save the Digital World!
It's been 14 years since their first adventure with the Digimon. Evander and Jessica have settled into living a married life in Nakano, Japan where Evander works as a detective and Jessica, a Kamishiro employee. When Jessica is attacked by the King of Aqualia who accuses her of going to Aqualia and assassinating most of the royal family, the couple will team up once again with their childhood friends; the Digimon in order to prevent all out war from breaking out between two planets.
The year is 2033. Earth has become a cultural melting pot of different alien races, not to mention Digimon! Taylor Glovion is an 11 year old mermaid with a love for the ocean. One day while in Plankton City, she encounters a small Digimon called Sharkmon, who doesn't remember who he is or where he comes from. Soon, Taylor and her friends all get digivices and Digimon (all of whom have amnesia) and find that they're about to embark on an adventure that even the whole universe cannot contain!
Growing up was never part of the plan.
Taylor Glovion has always lived between worlds — half human, half Aqualian, daughter of a detective and a woman who once walked the ocean floor. By day she’s a college student trying to survive exams, tuition, and a job she quietly hates. By night, she swims beneath the surface of a world few know exists.
But the Digital World is changing.
As organic beings encroach on its lands and strain its fragile balance, Taylor sees what others refuse to: the future is collapsing under its own weight. And if no one builds something better… everything she loves will be lost.
With her genius mind and the loyalty of her Digimon partner Sharkmon, Taylor begins an impossible project — a new world. A sanctuary. A second chance.
But some creations demand a cost. In this sweeping conclusion to the Digimon Universe saga, friendship is tested, love is proven, and one young woman must decide what kind of future she’s willing to become.
