Chapter 3: A Woman's Scorn.

On the planet Aqualia, back in the castle, in the King's bedroom, it was very quiet. Suddenly, a portal opened up on the ceiling and Kinandon fell right on his bed. He took a gasp only to inhale some water and realize that he wasn't currently in merman form. He quickly grew a mermaid tail and coughed. Aqualians can only breathe underwater while in mermaid or merman form. In this form, their legs become tails and that allows them easy mobility in the water. They also grow gill slits on their neck that allows them to breathe like fish. While in this mode, their lungs stop working because they only need those while on land. Normally, an Aqualian would take merman or mermaid form prior to going into the water, but Kinandon had made an emergency escape after being defeated by Evander, Jessica, and their Digimon. He was quite sore from being thrust into a building wall by Greymon's tail. He swam over to the mirror on a vanity a few feet away from the king's bed. He took off his brownish yellow vest, revealing a completely bare chested, bare backed Kinandon. He turned around and looked at his back in the mirror. The entire top area was badly bruised. He put his hand on it gently, but just the lightest touch sent pain coursing through his nervous system. He cried out in pain. "Damn that large reptile. Damn him!" Kinandon said. Kinandon wasn't just upset about his battle wound. He was upset because this massive twenty meters tall Digimon had prevented him from taking revenge on the woman who slaughtered his family. Again, the sight of Katie being shot in the chest filled his mind. It had been three days between the time of her death and the time he battled against the Human-Mermaid couple's Digimon. He only got one night's sleep throughout the three days, because most times he tried to sleep, he would have the memory of her death replay in his mind in the form of a nightmare. And again, guilt filled his mind. "I had one other sister and brother. Why is it only Katie I keep thinking of? I loved Davaqua and Misty too." He said. He knew Katie was always his favorite sibling, but he didn't think he loved her THAT much more.

Kinandon reached into his pocket and pulled out what looked like a smartphone from Earth. "Computer. Contact the royal medical staff." He said. "Contacting medical staff." a female voice coming from the phone said. In a moment, a doctor answered the call and appeared on the screen. This was a video chat. The year was 2023 on Earth and humans had been using phones to video chat for years. However, Aqualians had video chatting mobile technology for centuries. To an Aqualian, this tech was as simple as a can opener. "Oh! Your highness! You're back! Did the manhunt go ok?" He asked. Kinandon had returned to the castle right after his meeting with the shadowy figure. He had called a conference and told them of his strategy to wage war on Earth and hunt down the woman who killed his family, but he decreed that the military would not even go off world in Earth's direction until he had hunted down and slain Jessica Glovion. His reason was that he didn't want Jessica to take advantage of the chaos of war and escape. As important as it was to the planet to defeat Earth's military and conquer them, it was important to him personally to get his revenge on Jessica. "No, the manhunt didn't go as planned. She fought back. She….has Digimon too." Kinandon said. Kinandon didn't hide the fact that he was working with a shadowy figure that gave him Digimon. In fact, it was part of his pitch to the Aqualian Military. The shadowy figure had lent him a Gomamon and several Divermon to attend the conference. The figure couldn't have given him any non-water type Digimon, for something like the Devidramon he rode on would have drowned!

Upon hearing that Jessica used Digimon, the doctor asked "Do you think the figure you mentioned is a double agent?" "That is none of your concern. Just get up here and treat my injury. I'm in a lot of pain." Kinandon replied. It wasn't long before the doctor was in the king's bedroom. The doctor had a green merman tail and a doctor coat on with a stethoscope around his neck. There was no shirt under the stethoscope. He looked to be about in his 40s and had brown hair and a brown mustache, but no other facial hair. The doctor took a look at Kinandon's back and said "This is a terrible bruise." He got out a bottle of pills and dumped two of them in his hands. He gave them to Kinandon. Kinandon swallowed the pills. "If the bruise doesn't reduce itself in 15 seconds, I'll give you two more." the doctor said. But it wasn't necessary. 15 seconds had passed and the bruise completely vanished. It was like watching time lapse photography. Aqualians' technology wasn't just advanced, their medicine was too. Earthlings could only put ice on bruises and wait for them to go away on their own. Kinandon reached back and patted the previously bruised area. Whereas it was sensitive to the touch before, now he could practically slap himself with no pain. "Thank you, Doctor Krabs." Kinandon said. "No need to thank me. Just doing my duty as physician to the royal family." He responded.

After the doctor left, Kinandon got out his smartphone-like device again. "Computer. Contact Agent Salvation." He said. "Contacting Agent Salvation." the female voice coming from the phone said. The shadowy figure he had previously met appeared on the screen. "Greetings, your highness. Did you do it? Did you kill Jessica?" he asked. "No. They fought back against me and won. You didn't tell me their Digimon were with them. You told me they were separated." Kinandon said. "I'm terribly sorry. They must have found a way back to their human partners somehow." The figure responded. "Agent Salvation, is there any way I can find Jessica again?" Kinandon asked. "Do you think I let you go without a contingency plan? I had a Jazzardmon stay out of sight while you battled. In the event that Jessica fought back and injured you, and you had to escape, he was ordered to put a tracking device on her. Although I never thought the WAY she would fight back would be with her own Digimon." The figure explained. Kinandon lit up with happiness. "A tracking device?! That's brilliant! I should have thought of that!" Kinandon said. "Yes. You should have, seeing as you're smart enough to figure out how to unify quantum physics and gravity. But I suppose even super geniuses have oversights sometimes." The figure said. "How do I lock onto the tracking device?" Kinandon asked. "Meet me on the beach where we first met. I'll give you a device that tracks them." The shadowy figure replied.

Location: Earth, Kuremi Residence.

The sun shone on Jessica's face through the window causing her to wake up. She drowsily opened her eyes and yawned. She sat up and put her feet on the floor. She looked over at Evander and his Digimon who were still asleep. Although somehow Agumon managed to set his foot right on Evander's face. He was holding Terriermon like he was a teddy bear. Jessica smiled and felt her heart melt a little. She thought it was adorable. Evander was so used to spooning with Jessica that he must have instinctively embraced Terriermon just to have something to hold onto as he fell asleep. Ladybugmon was talking in his sleep. "Chef Boyardee, could you give me more pastaaaaa? I loooove pastaaaaaa." He said. Jessica took out her smartphone and took a quick snapshot of the sight. It was just too adorable. Jessica looked over at Gabumon, Leormon, and Pawnchessmon who were sleeping peacefully at the foot of her couch. Jessica looked down at her hand and thought about everything her mother had told her the night before. Since she was really a descendent of (who Earthlings considered to be) the Greek god Poseidon, what kind of powers does she possess that she never knew about? Could she control the waves and bend the weather to her will if she wanted? Could she walk on water and manipulate water as a shield? She had never felt like anything other than a normal girl growing up. She was trying to think back to see if she remembered anything unusual occurring when she went to the ocean or was around swimming pools. Her thoughts were interrupted by Kyoko's voice. "Coffee?" She looked up to see a nightgown clad Kyoko Kuremi holding out a cup of coffee to Jessica. "Thank you." Jessica responded as she took the cup. She drank it and it actually tasted good. The horrible taste in coffee they remembered Kyoko having was definitely all Alphamon.

Evander woke up and was surprised to find Agumon's foot in his face. "What the hell, man?! Get your foot out of my face! You could poke one of my eyes out with one of those claws!" He said as he pushed Agumon's leg away. When he did this, Agumon woke up and yawned. "5 more minutes, Mama Greymon." Agumon said. Not all Digimon have parents, but some do. Evander's Agumon was raised by a female Greymon and a male Tyrannomon. Kyoko set cups of coffee on the coffee table, one for Evander and each Digimon. "You need to get over your sleepiness. We've got to solve this mystery as soon as we can. Jessica's life is in danger." Kyoko said.

They heard a knock at the door. "Hide!" Kyoko said in whispered tones. Everyone ran into the master bedroom of Kyoko's house. Kyoko cautiously opened the door, expecting to find a foe. Instead, she saw a woman with short green hair. She was wearing a grey shoulderless long sleeved shirt with very thin dark red vertical stripes, and a small brown vest. She wore a brown skirt and brown shoes. "Is Jessica here? I'm a childhood friend of hers." The green haired woman said. "Oh? Who are you?" Kyoko asked. "I'm Samantha Silver." The green haired woman replied. Jessica walked out surprised to see her childhood friend. "Samantha? What are you doing here?" Jessica asked. "I want to know why you killed the royal family." Samantha said. Samantha was a girl that Jessica had made friends with as a little girl, after Jessica's parents fled the castle on Aqualia and before they moved to Earth. Jessica got to see Samantha again when she was 11 when they were going up against the Anti-Royal Knights back in 2006. Jessica and her Digimon had teamed up with Samantha and her Digimon partner Betamon to take down a MetalPirahnamon who was a lackie of the Anti-Royal Knights. But Jessica hadn't seen Samantha since. When you literally live on two different planets, you don't get to see each other often. Although Kinandon had invented teleportation technology that created wormholes, that tech didn't exist until a few years ago. If it had, Samantha would have definitely visited before now.

Jessica sat down and explained everything to Samantha. Jessica explained to Samantha that Evander thought the assassin was using a ShapeChange device that had been banned decades ago by King Ahab. Samantha took a sigh of relief, "So you think the real murderer used a ShapeChange device to make herself look like you. That honestly sounds really plausible. My dad told me about all the crimes committed through the use of those. King Ahab destroyed almost all of them except for 3." Samantha said. "But the idea that you were some fugitive princess when we were playing together? That's a lot to swallow. And a goddess? That's just wild!"

"I think we need to address the elephant in the room. How did you get here?" Evander asked. "Space travel has advanced by leaps and bounds thanks to Prince…..or should I say, King Kinandon. He was a quantum physicist who invented ways to not only exploit, but create wormholes….AND to travel through them safely. I used one of the portal creating devices to teleport myself." Samantha explained. "We should probably use that to go to Aqualia. We can look for your doppelganger there." Gabumon said before taking a sip of coffee. "Isn't that a little dangerous, Gabumon? That's like walking into a lion's den!" Agumon rebutted. "Besides, there's no guarantee that 1; The assassin is even still on Aqualia, and 2; that she still has Jessica's form. And even if she did still look like Jessica and was still on Aqualia, I'm guessing looking for one person on an entire planet would be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Face it. We've got no leads." Evander said, folding his arms and leaning against the wall.

They heard another knock on the door. Kyoko answered it. It was Matayoshi. Matayoshi was an elderly detective that was good friends with Kyoko's father. "I had a terrible time getting into their apartment, what, with all the crime scene tape and cops and detectives swarming the place, but I managed to grab their clothes." Matayoshi said. "Thank you. We can't have these two running around in pajamas, now can we?" Kyoko said. Matayoshi turned around and tipped his lid. "Keep me updated, Kyoko." He said. Then he left.

Evander and Jessica got dressed. Evander was now in his blue t-shirt, black pants, and brown trench coat, with his orange tinted goggles hanging around his neck. Jessica was now wearing her long sleeved shirt that was light blue in the torso area and navy blue in the sleeves area. She had her dark green pants on, and she sported a beaded necklace. As soon as they walked out of their changing rooms, they heard a large crash outside. They knew it was trouble. They ran out to see what it was. They saw a large 3 headed green dragon like Digimon. It was probably the height of a 4 story building and as wide as an apartment building. "What the Hell is that thing?" Samantha exclaimed. Standing on top of this giant green 3 headed dragon Digimon was none other than Kinandon. He looked down and saw Jessica. "Do you like my new pet? His name is Hydramon! Unlike the Devidramon you defeated last night, this one won't go down so easily." Kinandon said. "How did he know we were here?" Terriermon asked. "We'll have to answer that question later." Agumon said. "Right now, we need to fight!" Ladybugmon added. Evander and Jessica both gave each other a knowing nod and got their Digivices out of their pockets.

Their Digivices' screens both went black and "DIGIVOLUTION" came across both of their screens in big capital green letters.

"Ladybugmon digivolve to…..BoxerInsectmon!"

"Terriermon digivolve to….Gargomon!"

"Agumon digivolve to….Greymon!"

"Leormon digivolve to...Leomon!"

"Gabumon digivolve to….Garurumon!"

"Pawnchessmon digivolve to….KnightChessmon!"

Their Digimon stood poised and ready, now in their Champion forms. Greymon ran at Hydramon at full speed. "Great Horns Attack!" Greymon shouted as he attacked. This attack hurts the opponent by ramming them with his massive horns. Before Greymon could make contact though, a big vine attached to Hydramon grabbed hold of Greymon and threw him back. Gargomon rushed in and pointed his gatling guns at Hydramon. "Gargo Pellets!" Gargomon shouted. A plethora of bullets came out of his gatling guns and hit Hydramon. However, Hydramon didn't look like it was taking much damage. After a minute of firing bullets, one of the heads of the Hydramon peered down at Gargomon. "Scatterblaster!" Hydramon shouted. Intense fire beams shot randomly from its three heads. Gargomon jumped around dodging each one and then fired another "Gargo Pellets!" once again, Hydramon just absorbed Gargomon's bullets like they were nothing. "Scatterblaster!" Hydramon shouted. Intense fire beams again shot from the three heads of Hydramon. And again, Gargomon danced around dodging them. He managed to dodge most of them but got hit with one. Gargomon cried out in pain when the laser beam hit. "Gargomon!" Evander cried out in concern. Jessica's Garurumon jumped up on Hydramon's leg and used it to run up to one of the heads. "Howling Blaster!" blue flames shot out of Garurumon's mouth and hit one of the Hydramon heads. The one in the center, in fact. But the head to the right fired a laser beam at Garurumon forcing him back. Garurumon cried out in pain as he fell back. He landed on top of Gargomon. BoxerInsectmon ran up to Hydramon's left leg. "Rapid Punches!" He shouted. BoxerInsectmon unleashed a flurry of punches that were so fast the eye could barely see them. He was able to punch Hydramon's leg 300 times in 30 seconds. However, it only left a small bruise. Hydramon reared back the leg that BoxerInsectmon had punched and used it to kick BoxerInsectmon so hard that he crashed through the wall of Kyoko's house. "That's coming out of your paycheck!" Kyoko yelled.

Greymon had gotten up and was preparing to attack again. "Nova Blast! Nova Blast! Nova Blast! Nova Blast!" Greymon shouted. He sent 4 large consecutive balls of fire at Hydramon. They all hit but Hydramon only slightly winced, as though it had just experienced only mild discomfort.

"Fist Of The Beast King!" Leomon attacked. Leomon punched the air and a cluster of energy resembling the face of a lion shot forth from his fist. It hit Hydramon, but again, Hydramon only winced as though it experienced mild pain. Hydramon retaliated by whipping Leomon repeatedly with is vine-like appendages. Leomon grunted in pain as each vine hit him. BoxerInsectmon flew out of Kyoko's house towards Leomon's direction. "I'll help you, Leomon!" BoxerInsectmon called out. But as he was flying, one of Hydramon's vines struck BoxerInsectmon and knocked him back.

Meanwhile, KnightChessmon was repeatedly attacking Hydramon from behind with his "Big Darts!" attack! But it was also only scratching Hydramon's hyde up minorly. Hydramon knocked KnightChessmon back with one of its vine-like appendages.

Gargomon and Garurumon were having trouble standing. The laser beams that hit them did a lot of damage. "Only one attack….did this to me?" Gargomon said. "He must be….an Ultimate level. No….Mega." Greymon heard Gargomon and turned back towards Evander. "Did you hear that, Evander? If Gargomon's right, then that means we need to digivolve further!" Greymon shouted. Evander and Jessica both nodded in unison and both shouted in unison "Right!"

Evander's Digivice suddenly had the big green "DIGIVOLUTION" words scroll across them again, but this time, the symbol of his Crest of Justice appeared underneath it, which looked like the scales of justice held by lady justice.

"Greymon digivolve to….MetalGreymon!"

"Gargomon digivolve to...Rapidmon!"

"BoxerInsectmon digivolve to….TankBugmon!"

Jessica's Digivice suddenly had the big "DIGIVOLUTION" words scroll across them again, but this time, the symbol of her Crest of Affection appeared underneath the words. Jessica's Crest of Affection was one big heart nestled up against a slightly smaller heart.

"Garurumon digivolve to….WereGarurumon!"

"Leomon digivolve to….GrapLeomon!"

"KnightChessmon digivolve to….BishopChessmon!"

Their Digimon now stood in their Ultimate forms. Samantha frowned and looked down at the ground. "I wish Betamon were here. I could help." She said. Kyoko nodded. "The best we can do is stand back and let them handle this." She said. MetalGreymon opened the big metal casing on his chest and fired two big dark grey missiles. "Giga Blaster!" MetalGreymon shouted. The two missiles hit Hydramon, and Hydramon cried in pain. It wasn't damaged a whole lot, but MetalGreymon could tell that his Giga Blaster hit harder than his Nova Blast did when he was Greymon. So he decided to fire again. "Giga Blaster!" Another pair of big dark grey missiles shot out of the metal casing on his chest and hit Hydramon. Hydramon again lost his footing. He fell back into a convenience store that was right across the street from Kyoko's house. Fortunately, no one was inside because the presence of a giant digital monster had already caused many people to flee the area. Kinandon almost fell off. "Get up, you imbecile! You're not going to let them defeat you! Agent Salvation told me you were a giga something or other!" Kinandon shouted. Evander thought to himself "Agent Salvation? Is that our perp?" Evander was used to using detective terms like perp at this point. He had been with the force for 2 years now and actually helped put a serial killer away that detectives had filed away as a cold case. They had been after him for 10 years, but Evander was able to track him down.

Hydramon stood up, ruins of what once was a convenience store behind him. Hydramon roared at the top of its lungs. "Biotoxin!" It shouted! Suddenly, purple gas started spewing out all 3 of the Hydramon heads. "Be careful! That looks like poison gas!" Jessica yelled. "What can we do to rid the area of it?" Evander asked.

MetalGreymon flew up into the air. MetalGreymon unleashed its Trident Arm and swung it around like rope at faster and faster speeds until it created an air current that sent the poisonous gas away from them. "Nice one, MetalGreymon! I didn't even know you could do that!" Evander shouted. "I didn't either." MetalGreymon said. "I just had to try something."

TankBugmon rolled closer to Hydramon. "Bug Spray! Bug Spray! Bug Spray!" TankBugmon shouted as he unleashed his attack. Bug Spray is TankBugmon's signature move. It sends big balls of condensed energy at the opponent. Hydramon got hit with all of them.

"Rapid Fire! Rapid Fire! Rapid Fire! Rapid Fire!" Rapidmon shouted as it repeatedly launched missiles from its arms. The missiles hit Hydramon. Hydramon glared at Rapidmon and tried to strike it with one of its vines. Rapidmon managed to evade his vine strikes. "Golden Triangle!" Rapidmon shouted as it created, as the name suggests, a golden colored triangle of energy with its limbs that it sent at the opponent. Hydramon got hit and took a little bit more damage. Hydramon couldn't dodge any of the attacks, being as big as he was. But on the other hand, they weren't doing much either. WereGarurumon jumped up onto MetalGreymon's trident arm. He looked back at MetalGreymon and said "Send me at him." MetalGreymon replied "You got it. Trident Arm!" MetalGreymon launched its big metal arm towards Hydramon. The clawed hand attached to the metallic-ropelike substance dug into the gargantuan creature causing Hydramon to cry out in pain. WereGarurumon jumped off of MetalGreymon's claw just before it hit and was now in mid air right before the enemy Digimon's center face. "Kaiser Nail!" He attacked. He was able to take out the center head's Hydramon's eyes. It thrashed about in pain as blood flowed from the eye sockets. "Damn it!" Kinandon shouted. Kinandon was knocked off, but fortunately for him, he managed to land on his feet.

"That does it! I will now unleash my ultimate attack!" Hydramon shouted. "Fault Break!" This attack completely destroys the enemy as well as the earth by causing ivy that spreads underground to move violently, creating fissures.

MetalGreymon, Rapidmon, TankBugmon, WereGarurumon, GrapLeomon, and BishopChessmon all took a tremendous amount of damage. So much so that they reverted back to their In-Training forms. Kinandon laughed with glee. "I did it! I won! Now, revenge is mine!" Kinandon said before laughing some more. Kinandon then looked over to Hydramon. "After her." He said. Hydramon took off in Jessica's direction. Evander grabbed Jessica's arm and started running. "Let's get out of here!" Evander said. "But our Digimon!" Jessica protested. "They'll be fine! It's not them he's after! It's us!" Evander reasoned. "It's you." They ran. As they ran, Evander took out his Digivice and used the Digimon Analyzer function. "Gargomon was right. This is definitely a Mega level Digimon. We should have digivolved even further than we did. But he's also big and heavy." Evander said. Jessica said "If I can get to the ocean, I'll probably be safe." Evander nodded. "You read my mind." He said. "But we're in Tokyo! We're too far away from the ocean." Jessica objected. "Who cares about distance when you have alien technology?" Evander said, before pulling a technological device out of his pocket. "What is that? Where did you get it?" Jessica asked. "I pickpocketed it off of Samantha." Evander said. Evander pushed a button and a bluish white portal opened up right in front of them. It was a good thing too. Hydramon was gaining on them! It was ripping property up as it was chasing them. It was very close and just about to reach down and crush Jessica with one of its sets of powerful jaws, but Evander and Jessica were able to make it to the portal in time.

They both soon found themselves in the ocean off the coast of Miyako Island which is the fourth largest island in the Okinawa prefecture. Evander dove down and took Jessica's pants off so that she could assume mermaid form. Jessica knew how to swim in human form, but she wasn't very good at it. And they appeared to be quite a ways from shore, though the shore was visible from where they were. "You got those off pretty quickly." Jessica said. "I've had lots of practice." Evander said, grinning. Evander suddenly was pulled underneath the water. "Evander!" Jessica cried out. She dove down, still wearing her long sleeved shirt in two shades of blue but now missing pants in the stead of a mermaid tail. She looked and saw a Tylomon with Evander in its jaws. Evander was struggling to get free. There were 10 other Tylomon around. "Let him go!" Jessica demanded. Jessica wasn't sure what she would do. There were 10 Champion level Digimon surrounding them and her Digimon were miles away, licking their wounds. "Let him go, now!" Jessica demanded. The Tylomon holding Evander in its jaws did something that she feared it might do; it bit down on him! Evander cried out in pain before inhaling water and losing consciousness. Blood started to fill the water from the puncture wounds. Jessica's eyes widened with shock and she covered her mouth, her hand trembling. She put her arm down and clenched her fist. Her teeth clenched tightly in her jaw and her arms were trembling. Rage was filling every single inch of her. She wanted to rip these Digimon to shreds.

Jessica's whole body started to glow in a golden aura, and her eyes started glowing in an aqua blue light. Suddenly, the Tylomon found themselves in a water spout that manifested itself out of nowhere. The water spout spit the Tylomon into the air and onto the nearby Miyako Island beach. Beach goers fled, trying to avoid having one of these massive shark-like creatures land on them. Jessica swam over to Evander's bleeding, unconscious body. "I've got to get him some medical attention immediately!" She said. She feared the extent of his wounds. She feared he would die. She grasped Evander tightly and started swimming for the shore. She found herself on the beach in a moment, as though she had teleported. What happened? They were probably a mile away from shore. How did she get there in an instant? There were some beach bathers nearby, and Jessica looked at them in desperation. "My husband is dying! Get an ambulance!" She pleaded. One guy quickly reached into the pocket of his swim trunks and got his cell phone out which he subsequently used to call for an ambulance. Jessica looked back at the ocean waters. The Tylomon somehow managed to make their way back into the water and were now staring at her from the shallow water near the beach. As Jessica stared at the group of Tylomon, rage welled up within her.

Suddenly, the skys grew pitch black with storm clouds and the ocean waves started getting rough. It was a nice sunny day, and storm clouds gathered in a matter of minutes! This was way too fast to be a natural phenomenon! The wind picked up. In fact, the angrier Jessica got, the worse the weather seemed to get! It started raining and thunder started rumbling. "Go to Hell, you damn Tylomon." Jessica said. "GO TO HELL!" She screamed. As soon as she screamed "Go to Hell!" at the top of her lungs, another waterspout appeared and captured all of the Tylomon. It hurled them close to the beach's shore. And then, Jessica started to levitate while chanting "Go to Hell. Go to Hell. Go to Hell." She thrusted her mermaid tail forward, which was previously just dangling in mid air, towards the Tylomon. Water appeared out of her tail and hit one of the Tylomon with such high pressure that it punctured him and caused him to dissipate into digital particles before reverting to a DigiEgg. Jessica then thrusted both of her arms in the air as though she was punching the air. With each thrust, a blast of water came out and destroyed a Tylomon. Where was this water coming from? Nowhere. This was the power of hydrogenesis that Poseidon was said to have in the article that Evander had read the night before.

Jessica then flew over to a building and picked it up. There were 6 Tylomon still left alive. She threw the building at them and crushed them all, instantly deleting them! Jessica was so enraged that she wasn't even aware of the godlike powers she was exhibiting. She started weeping. Tears streamed down her cheeks before she screamed bloody murder. The weight of everything that was happening to her put a lot of stress on her, but seeing Evander bitten down on like a cracker in the shark-like Digimon's mouth pushed her over the edge. Kinandon was standing nearby watching this in astonishment. "This can't be! Only one type of person could control the seas like this!" He said. Kinandon was so shocked that he didn't realize how loud he had vocalized his thoughts. Jessica heard him and turned her gaze towards him. "YOU!" She screamed as she started flying towards him, her body still glowing in a golden aura and her eyes still glowing with an aqua blue light. She grabbed Kinandon by the face, picked him up, and flew up into the air. When she was up high enough, she then threw him down to the ground. Kinandon hit the ground with a thud. The air had been knocked out of him. "This is all your fault!" She screamed! She flew down and got on top of Kinandon. She started relentlessly pummeling Kinandon in the face. Blood started pouring out of Kinandon's mouth, and one of his eyes was severely swollen. Blood was pouring out of his nose as well. He wanted to fight back, but her punches kept coming and didn't give him time to react. He momentarily was able to grab Jessica's arm to stop her from punching him but she overpowered him and broke free. She punched him again. Then she grabbed Kinandon and threw up high into the air. Jessica teleported behind him and knocked him down to the ground with her mermaid tail. Jessica stared down at Kinandon with an extremely hate filled glare.

Jessica then extended her right hand. Suddenly, a golden rod started materializing in her hand. It was golden and glowing. As it continued to materialize upward, it soon took the shape of a recognizable item; a trident. Jessica planned to use it to impale Kinandon, but just as she was about to fly down, she heard a voice. "Jessica! Stop!" It was Samantha. She was standing on the shore with all of their Digimon. "Jessica can fly!?!?" Tsunomon said in shock. "And is that a trident I see?" Gummymon said. "This must be Poseidon's power manifesting in her." LeoCubmon said. LeoCubmon is Leormon's In-Training form.

Jessica didn't listen. She started flying down towards Kinandon with trident in hand. "You're dead!" Jessica screamed. She stopped in mid-air with the trident mere inches above Kinandon's neck when she heard Evander's voice call out "Jessica! Stop!" She looked over to see a bleeding Evander coughing up blood. "This…..isn't...you!" The Trident that had manifested itself in her hand disintegrated. Jessica flew over to Evander, tears streaming down her face. "You're alive!" She cried out. "Just….barely." Evander said before coughing up more blood. Samantha gasped. "You need this!" She said before taking out a bottle of pills. She dumped 4 pills into her hand and handed them to Evander. "Take these! It's advanced medicine from Aqualia! It will heal almost any wound!" Samantha said. Evander swallowed them. "How long will it take for those pills to work?" Gummymon asked. "Depending on the severity of the womb, a few seconds, a minute, or even up to 20 minutes. Although if the womb is too severe…." she let that hang in the air.

Evander turned over to lie down on his back. He could barely breathe. Was this it? Was he dying? He had already died twice before. Once when fighting Thithemon, Thithemon deleted him when he was biomerged with Ladybugmon. The other time was after they defeated The Mother Eater, and his half cyber/half physical body dissipated, being made unstable from connect jumping with too many eaters. Fortunately, Vggdrasil brought him back the first time, and Alphamon re-assembled his data the second time. But this time was different. This time, he didn't think he was going to make it. Third time's the charm, he thought. Jessica folded her hands, hoping the medicine would heal him. Now that she had calmed down, the storm clouds were dissipating and the ocean waves were getting calmer. Evander then found his pain getting lessened. He pulled his shirt up and found that all the puncture wounds had gone! "Looks like your medicine worked." Evander said with a sigh of relief. Jessica embraced him, now crying tears of joy. Jessica loved Evander with a very deep passion. When it came to him, her emotions could reach great highs or great lows. It had always been this way even when they were children. He meant everything to her.

Kinandon took this as an opportunity to escape yet again. "I'll have to come back with the strongest Digimon I can find if I'm going to take on….a descendent of Sebastian Poseidon." Kinandon said before walking through another portal.

Meanwhile a crowd was starting to gather. News reporters ran up to Jessica wanting to know what happened. "How the heck did you do all of that!? Are you filming for a movie!? Were those special effects!?" A female reporter asked as she put a microphone up to Jessica's face. Another reporter put a microphone in Jessica's face as well. "Don't be ridiculous, you're an alien, aren't you?" A male reporter said, sticking another microphone in her face. "Don't pay any attention to them. They're kooky. You're just a super hero, right? Your ability to fly and shoot water lasers was caused by some toxic event, right?" Another reporter asked, sticking yet another microphone in her face. Jessica was feeling overwhelmed. "Is this connected to the monsters that appeared last night and today in Tokyo?" One of the reporters asked. Jessica was feeling extremely self conscious. She had it pounded into her head by her mother to never let humans see her in her Aqualian form. Jessica's mother told her that humans were creatures who feared what they didn't understand, and that they'd be in trouble if Earth's government ever found out that they themselves were not human. This was deeply ingrained in Jessica's psyche. But there she was with her full tail in front of a crowd of reporters with news cameras as well as interested bystanders. Even though she wasn't, she felt like she was completely naked. She wanted to grab anything she could and hide herself from this circle of reporters that surrounded her. She grasped one of the soggy sleeves of her long sleeved shirt and nervously went "Uhh…" Evander got up and pointed behind the reporters. "Oh my gosh! It's another one of those monsters! Look out!" He cried. Everyone's eyes turned directly away from Evander, Jessica, and the small In-Training level Digimon. Evander picked Jessica up and ran off. Samantha carried the Digimon in her arms. It was easy as In-Training level Digimon are quite small. It's like carrying a load of stuffed animals. They used the Digi-Worm Phone to open up a portal and transport themselves back to Kyoko's house.
