Chapter 13: Poseidon's Judgment

AncientMermaidmon was swimming back to the Continent Of Asioo. Omnimon had just fused with Jessica to become MarineOmnimon. MarineOmnimon looked over in AncientMermaidmon's direction. With his powerful orange mermaid tail, MarineOmnimon took off swimming in her direction. It soon sped through the waters like a torpedo. AncientMermaidmon turned around and realized she was being tailed. "I'm not done with you yet!" MarineOmnimon shouted. When MarineOmnimon spoke, the voices of WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon, and Jessica could be heard speaking in unison. MarineOmnimon swung the arm with the WarGreymon head on it, and a golden trident came out. "Grey Trident!" MarineOmnimon shouted. Lightning shot out of the trident and hit AncientMermaidmon. She screamed in pain. After being hit, she turned around and shot at MarineOmnimon at the speed of a bullet swinging her own trident at him. MarineOmnimon parried with the Grey Trident. While fending off AncientMermaidmon's trident with its own, MarineOmnimon pointed the MetalGarurumon arm in AncientMermaidmon's direction. "Hydro Garuru Cannon!" A high speed blast of water burst out of the cannon. It had such force that it knocked AncientMermaidmon back 100 feet! MarineOmnimon raised the trident above its head. "Grey Trident!" A massive ice spear appeared above its head. It was about 100 feet tall and 60 feet wide. After it had formed, it broke into hundreds of much smaller shards that then shot at AncientMermaidmon. AncientMermaidmon blocked every single one of them with blinding speed!

It looked as though the attack had failed, but in reality, MarineOmnimon had used that as a diversion, he had snuck up, no, teleported behind AncientMermaidmon. "Grey Trident!" MarineOmnimon shouted before impaling AncientMermaidmon with his trident. The trident's prongs went all the way through the mermaid Digimon, from back to front. MarineOmnimon retracted the trident. "It's over." It said as it watched the AncientMermaidmon float down slowly to the ocean floor. AncientMermaidmon twitched a little before turning around and ramming MarineOmnimon into a nearby underwater rock with such force that the rock completely turned to dust! MarineOmnimon collected itself and got up. "It can still fight after a blow like that!?" It said in amazement.

AncientMermaidmon then used her trident to create a massive ice spear that appeared above its head. It was about 100 feet tall and 60 feet wide. After it had formed, it broke into hundreds of much smaller shards that then shot at MarineOmnimon. MarineOmnimon used its Grey Trident to block every single one of them with blinding speed!

"Let's kick it up." MarineOmnimon said. MarineOmnimon swam towards AncientMermaidmon at lightning speed, grabbed her by the neck and then flew up into the air above the ocean waters. MarineOmnimon tossed AncientMermaidmon high into the air with incredible godlike upper body strength. AncientMermaidmon was so high in the air that MarineOmnimon looked as small as an ant. As AncientMermaidmon began to fall back down to the ocean, MarineOmnimon aimed its cannon at her again. "Hydro Garuru Cannon! Hydro Garuru Cannon! Hydro Garuru Cannon! Hydro Garuru Cannon!" MarineOmnimon attacked repeatedly. AncientMermaidmon got hit with every blow.

MarineOmnimon and AncientMermaidmon clashed tridents over and over and over! Each time they clashed, they teleported to a completely different spot. AncientMermaidmon then repeatedly and rapidly slashed at MarineOmnimon with her trident. Her slashes were so fast that they could barely be seen with the naked eye. MarineOmnimon parried each one of them with lightning flash trident wings of its own. MarineOmnimon then did a mid-air backflip and sent AncientMermaidmon flying with its mermaid tail! AncientMermaidmon was sent so far back that it landed in the crater back on the Continent Of Asioo. AncientMermaidmon had taken quite a bit of damage. She struggled to get back up.

Evander and the other Digidestined watched as the fight went on. "What is that? Omnimon looks different." Evander said. "But where is Jessica?" Gallantmon asked.

MarineOmnimon then arrived on the beach. It floated in mid-air with its orange mermaid tail hanging down. Evander looked surprised. "He was too far away before for me to be completely sure, but I was right! Omnimon changed!" He said. MarineOmnimon looked over to Evander and nodded. Evander looked concerned. "Omnimon….where's Jessica?" He asked. MarineOmnimon responded. "I am Jessica and Jessica is me. My name is MarineOmnimon." Everyone looked at MarineOmnimon in amazement. MarineOmnimon's attention was then directed towards AncientMermaidmon who was rising out of the crater. MarineOmnimon's mermaid tail then slowly morphed in legs covered in blue armor. MarineOmnimon ran towards AncientMermaidmon. AncientMermaidmon was beaten and battered, and she was running out of energy.

MarineOmnimon impaled her once more with the Grey Trident. AncientMermaidmon fell back onto her back. She was motionless for a moment, and then her Digimon form dissipated into digital particles, leaving a mermaid form Katie Neptune lying on the ground with the Grey Trident still in her. MarineOmnimon retracted the Grey Trident back into its WarGreymon arm. Kinandon ran over to Katie and knelt down beside her. He placed his right hand on Katie's cheek. "Katie!" He said. Katie looked over to Kinandon. Her sanity had been restored to her. Sitting adjacent to Katie was the Blue DigiEgg that Ophanimon Falldown Mode had given Kinandon. "Kinnie." Katie said. Kinandon began choking up. "Please hold on. I'll get back to the laboratory. I'll fuse with you another Digimon. It will go right this time, I swear. You won't suffer and rampage like this time." Kinandon said. "No…" Katie said weakly. A pool of blood was starting to form underneath her where MarineOmnimon had stabbed her. "What do you mean 'no'? Katie, this planet needs its queen! This planet needs a ruler…and…you're the only one who can do it." Kinandon told her. Katie coughed up some blood. "More importantly, I need you! Katie, I love you! Please, don't leave me again!" Kinandon said before embracing his dying sister's body.

"Kinnie…." Katie said weakly, "You're timid….and easily intimidated…..but….I believe…..that….you can overcome that. You're really smart. You'll figure out a way to overcome your nerves….remember, Kinnie….I will always love you." She then stopped breathing completely. Kinandon broke down and began grieving.

Ophanimon Falldown Mode was nearby, hiding in the shadows. She had fled while the Digidestined were distracted in order to observe the battle between Jessica, Omnimon, and AncientMermaidmon. She was interested in seeing how it would turn out. Ophanimon FM emerged from the shadows and shook her head in disappointment. "How disappointing. All that fighting between two goddesses, and THIS is the piddly amount of destruction you've caused? I suppose it's not a bad amount of destruction though. There are still many merpeople dead. It's too bad we don't have a toilet big enough to flush them all. " Ophanimon FM said. That last line angered Jessica's consciousness inside MarineOmnimon. She was comparing the corpses of members of her species to dead pet goldfish.

But she was right about the amount of destruction. Although not a total apocalypse, underwater, several entire cities had been destroyed. Thousands of lives were lost because whenever AncientMermaidmon would stir up the ocean for an attack, the currents underwater would get so strong that the buildings and houses couldn't withstand the force. They had crumbled, sometimes crushing many men, women, and children inside of them. At other times, people were fortunate enough to escape the debri. Some of this destruction had occurred before the Digidestined had even arrived on Aqualia, for Kinandon was using the Digimon soldiers Ophanimon FM had given him to try to stop his rampaging half-Digimon sister. Fortunately, the death count wasn't every single merperson on the planet. The Digidestined had succeeded in that much. Ophanimon FM brought out a Digi-Worm phone and pushed a button on it. When she did, a portal opened up and a Raguelmon came through the portal. Raguelmon was a humanoid cat Digimon clad in golden armor and had sharp purple claws. "It looks like I'll have to take this into my own hands." Ophanimon Falldown Mode said.

Ophanimon Falldown Mode turned to Raguelmon and said, "Are you ready for us to bring about salvation to the universe?" She asked. Raguelmon nodded. "Yes, my queen." She replied. A blackish purple aura started to envelop the fallen Ophanimon. The aura spread to the Raguelmon. The aura turned into a black jellylike substance and then began to steadily increase in size. It grew bigger, and bigger, and bigger. The Digidestined and their Digimon looked with concern. "What is happening here?" Rosemon asked. "If I tried to eat all of that jelly, I'd get a tummy ache!" Syn said. "I think we're about to have worse problems than a tummy ache, Syn." Zai told the little BlackGatomon in her arms.

Kinandon was still clutching Katie's body. He looked up at the growing black blob with a concerned facial expression. "This is all my fault. I should have never trusted you." He said.

The black blob became extremely massive.

"Ophanimon Falldown Mode…"

"Raguelmon…"

"DNA Digivolve to….Ordinemon!"

The blob then burst revealing a white feminine humanoid Digimon. "It has orange, green, and blue double helix-like appendages in place of hands and feet, and at the end of white hair-like appendages that cover its eyes. It has sharp teeth and three pairs of cat ears with orange highlights. It has large grey wings, each with a blue, pointed appendage, a violet jewel on the left wing, and a cyan jewel on the right wing." (DigimonWiki). Ordinemon let out a horrible screech that could be heard for miles. "End of The World!" Ordinemon shouted before firing a massive red laser beam off to the distance. The laser beam hit another city far beyond the city that Jessica's earthquake had swallowed up. There was a huge explosion! Screams could be heard off in the distance. Although merpeople had evacuated the city the Digimon had been fighting in, the city Ordinemon had just attacked was exactly where they fled to! She started whipping her head around, continuing to fire massive, far reaching red laser beams. "End of The World! End Of The World! End Of The World!" Ordinemon exclaimed. This was actually the name of her attack! Every time she fired a laser beam, another inhabited Aqualian city was utterly annihilated in a matter of seconds, killing thousands!

Evander and the crew just stood there staring at the massive titan of a Digimon. Kinandon got a call on his Digi-Worm phone. "It's working again?" He said before answering it. It was his general on the other line who had traveled to Earth. "Your highness. We arrived back at our military base and….when we turned on the news……it's like the end of the world! Just now 3 underwater cities and everyone in them have been completely annihilated!" General Coral exclaimed. Kinandon was so shocked that his eyes went wide, he gasped, and he dropped his Digi-Worm phone onto the sand below. Kinandon fell to his knees. "Damn you, Ophanimon! Damn you to Hell!" Kinandon said.

"Hey, what did I do?" Ophanimon asked. This Ophanimon was the result of a bio-merge digivolution between Flora and her Gatomon. Gallantmon interjected, "Honey, I think he's referring to the falldown mode Ophanimon that just turned into a giant naked Godzilla woman."

"Who was that?" Zai asked. "My general. She just alerted me that Ordinemon just completely annihilated 3 large cities. There's nothing but ash and rubble. No survivors." Kinandon said. Zai, usually expressionless, actually gasped and had a very worried expression on her face.

Evander looked around for TankBugmon. He wanted to tell him that they should biomerge so they could fight Ordinemon together. "Hey, where's TankBugmon?" He asked. They all heard a high pitch grunting noise. They turned around to see Ladybugmon crawling out of the crater that Jessica had made. "Ladybugmon, what are you doing in that hole? Where have you been all this time?" Evander asked. Ladybugmon looked angry. "Are you serious!? I got swallowed up by that massive sinkhole, you dummy dumb dumb head!" Ladybugmon said. Evander looked surprised. "Really?" He said. He just now noticed that two of their Digimon were unaccounted for. Soon Pawnchessmon crawled up out of the sink hole as well. "Yes, really! Did you seriously not know what had happened to us!? I had been digging myself out from under rubble for the past hour!" Ladybugmon shouted. Evander grimaced. "Sorry, buddy. There's….a lot that's happened. Listen, I'll make it up to you later. Right now, we have a planet to save." Evander said.

Ordinemon unleashed another "End Of The World!" laser blast! This one hit the capital city!

"BIOMERGE DIGIVOLUTION"

"Ladybugmon biomerge to...MedievalGallantmon!"

MedievalGallantmon, Gallantmon, Ophanimon, Rosemon, MarineOmnimon, and SaberLeomon came at the gargantuan Digimon.

"Mega Barrage!" MegaGargomon attacked, sending out lots of bullets out of the gatling guns on its arms, missiles out of its legs, and the huge yellow missiles on top of its chest. Ordinemon took all of the ammo and shook it off. MegaGargomon's attack didn't leave a scratch!

"Rage Of Wyvern!" MidievalGallantmon attacked, sending a blast of energy in the shape of a wyvern out of the tip of his weapon called Dynas. Ordinemon got hit with the wyvern shaped energy blast and just laughed.

"Shield Of The Just!" Gallantmon shouted, the voice of Guilmon and Mario speaking in unison. A large blast of energy fired out of Gallantmon's shield and in Ordinemon's direction. Ordinemon took no damage whatsoever.

"Eden's Javelin!" Ophanimon attacked, sending a beam of light energy out of the javelin she was holding. Once again, Ordinemon felt nothing.

"Infinity Arrows!" SaberLeomon attacked.

"Forbidden Temptation!" Rosemon attacked. When Rosemon used this attack, she sent a barrage of sharp rose petals at the opponent.

"Glorious Burst!" ShineGreymon attacked.

"Hydro Garuru Cannon!" MarineOmnimon attacked. Ordinemon absorbed all the attacks as though they were nothing, with the exception of MarineOmnimon's Hydro Garuru Cannon. She felt this attack to some extent.

Ordinemon looked at the Mega Level Digimon who seemed so small compared to her. "Summon Apocalypse!" Ordinemon called out. When Ordinemon called out the name of her attack, she flapped her wings twice. A plethora of black feathers fell down off her wings and transformed into Devidramon, which then attacked the Digidestined's Digimon.

Gallantmon saw about 10 Devidramon heading in his direction. "Lightning Joust! Lightning Joust! Lightning Joust! Lightning Joust!" He attacked over and over. He destroyed four of them. He then flew towards the others and slashed and hacked at them until he destroyed most that remained. With the one left, Gallantmon used his "Spiral Saber!" attack in which Gallantmon spins upward in a very short tornado within a fire tornado, swinging his lance. The Devidramon was deleted. No DigiEgg was left behind as these weren't real Digimon. They were artificially created from Ordinemon's feathers.

Ophanimon was also taking on some Devidramon; 6 in number. "Sephirot Crystals! Sephirot Crystals! Edens Javelin!" She attacked. She took out 3 of them. She then turned and impaled one of the artificially created Devidramon were her Javelin. Rosemon came up behind Ophanimon and took out the other two with her Thorn Whip. Ophanimon turned and looked at Rosemon. "Thanks, Rosemon." Ophanimon said. Rosemon smiled. "Just doing my job as your partner, Flora." Rosemon replied.

MarineOmnimon raised its WarGreymon arm. "Grey Trident!" the trident extended out. When it had done so, Lightning came down and destroyed every single one of the Devidramon and also damaged Ordinemon simultaneously. Ordinemon grunted. Ordinemon flapped her left wing and knocked Gallantmon, Ophanimon, and Rosemon down to the ground. They hit the ground extremely hard and left a crater where they landed! The 3 Megas reverted back to their Rookie forms. Mario and Flora sat up and rubbed their heads groaning. "I guess we're at our limit." Flora observed. "That really hurt." Mario said. Guilmon, Palmon, and Gatomon all sat up, groaning as well. Flora ran her hands over the cat ears on the top of her head. "My ears burn!" She complained.

SaberLeomon got up on Ordinemon's right arm and began gnawing at it. Ordinemon grabbed SaberLeomon and tossed him back down to the beach below. SaberLeomon reverted back to his Rookie form. "Damn…" Leormon groaned.

"Glorious Burst! Glorious Burst! Glorious Burst!" ShineGreymon attacked repeatedly. None of the 3 consecutive attacks left a scratch on Ordinemon. Ordinemon grabbed ShineGreymon and squeezed him in her hand for a moment before slamming him down on the ground like a spiked football! ShineGreymon reverted back to Agumon, groaning in pain. Mario got up and ran over to attend to his Digimon. "Agumon! Are you ok?" He asked.

Ordinemon then moved down towards the beach where the Digidestined and de-digivolved Digimon were. Mario took a big swallow. "Oh boy! Here she comes!" Mario exclaimed. Ordinemon picked Kinandon up and held him upside down. "Hey! What are you doing!?" Kinandon shouted in fear. Ordinemon held her other hand underneath the upside down Kinandon she was holding. She shook the Aqualian king a couple of times until his Digi-Worm phone fell out of his satchel and into her hands. The phone was tiny in the massive winged humanoid Digimon's hand. She delicately pressed a button to open a portal which she subsequently went through.

MarineOmnimon was flying towards her quickly; it had broken the sound barrier. "She's headed to Earth!" MarineOmnimon shouted as it flew. MarineOmnimon rammed into Ordinemon and they both went through the portal together!

On the other side of the portal, MarineOmnimon and Ordinemon found themselves in New York Harbor. "So this is where you were headed! Don't you think you should finish destroying one planet before you move onto another?" MarineOmnimon said, still ramming into Ordinemon. They both fell into the water below, causing a massive wave of water to go up on the nearby shores. People were panicking and trying to get away. A news helicopter was nearby reporting the events that had just gone down. "Just when we thought we were safe from alien invaders, two massive creatures show up! One appears to be some winged humanoid giant and the other appears to be some kind of large knight." The news reporter in the helicopter said.

Emily and her Cherubimon (Lopmon's Mega) were fighting a horde of GrandKuwagamon down below. "Heaven's Judgment!" Cherubimon destroyed them all by summoning lightning down from above! When MarineOmnimon and Ordinemon appeared in the city, Emily turned around and looked. "Ah great, more Digimon?" She said.

MarineOmnimon took out its trident which extended from the WarGreymon arm. "Grey Trident!" Suddenly, a hundred sharks came up out of the ocean and began biting and gnawing at Ordinemon. MarineOmnimon moved its trident again and 5 streams of water burst forth from the ocean behind them, striking Ordinemon with immense force! MarineOmnimon moved its trident up above its head. "Grey Trident!" It shouted again. This time, the clear blue sunny sky became covered in storm clouds in a matter of minutes. MarineOmnimon held its trident up above its head until all of the storm clouds had finished forming. Then, MarineOmnimon swung its trident downward and several bolts of lightning came down from the sky and struck Ordinemon. MarineOmnimon then teleported to a mere inches in front of Ordinemon's face. It swung its trident 300 times in a matter of seconds, cutting and slicing Ordinemon's face up. When Ordinemon tried to counter, by attempting to punch MarineOmnimon, MarineOmnimon teleported back to its original position.

MarineOmnimon then aimed its MetalGarurumon arm at Ordinemon. This time a gatling gun came out of the MetalGarurumon arm. "Hydro Garuru Machine Gun!" It shouted. The gatling gun began spinning and a plethora of ice shards came out at the speed of bullets. The ice shards struck Ordinemon and she cried out in pain. Ordinemon then swung her left arm and sent all of the sharks hurling back into the sea far behind her. She then powered up a red laser beam inside her mouth and looked in MarineOmnimon's direction. "End Of The World!" She cried. The laser beam hit MarineOmnimon and caused a massive explosion! MarineOmnimon was sent flying back into the city. MarineOmnimon slammed into several NYC buildings consecutively as it fell back before it ended up hitting the pavement and leaving a long deep groove in the pavement from where it had slid against it. MarineOmnimon quickly got back up and flew up high into the sky, breaking the sound barrier and thus, shattering some windows in the process.

MarineOmnimon slammed into Ordinemon and they started to fly farther out to the Atlantic ocean, away from New York Harbor. "I've got to get Ordinemon away from populated places. That End Of The World attack of hers could claim the life of every New Yorker if she were to fire it in their direction." Jessica said. "Yes. We must push this monster as far away from inhabited areas as possible." MetalGarurumon said. "Besides, the ocean is where we shine anyway." WarGreymon added. MarineOmnimon was having an inner conversation among the three beings of which it was constituted. MarineOmnimon continued to push Ordenimon farther and farther out to sea. They were traveling at 1000 MPH. Before too long, the two titan Digimon found themselves surrounded by ocean water all around, with not a single landmass in sight. MarineOmnimon transformed its blue armor covered legs into an orange mermaid tail. It slowly sank into the water.

Ordinemon flapped its wings to stay airborne. "Clever little girl." She said, realizing that she was now out of reach of any inhabited locations. "Summon Apocalypse." Once again, Ordinemon flapped her wings, and about 70 feathers fell from her massive black wings. The feathers, like last time, all turned into Digimon. This time, they turned into MarineDevimon. The MarineDevimon dove into the ocean water after MarineOmnimon.

MarineOmnimon raised its Grey Trident. "Summoning Of Poseidon!" MarineOmnimon shouted. Suddenly, a multitude of digital looking portals opened up behind MarineOmnimon. Many Digimon of the Deep Savers family swam through; Zudomon, Ikakkumon, Submarimon, Depthmon, Seadramon, Whamon, Pukumon, Seahomon, and several others. A solitary Shellmon also came through a portal. "This is it. This is the aura I sensed coming from Jessica before." Shellmon said. "I command you; Deep Savers Digimon! Attack Ordinemon's puppets!" MarineOmnimon shouted. The multitude of water type Digimon began their attacks on the artificially created MarineDevimon.

"Vulcan's Hammer!" One of the Zudomon attacked.

"Harpoon Torpedo!" An Ikkakumon attacked, firing the horn from its head like a torpedo.

"Oxygen Torpedo!" A Submarimon attacked, sending a burst of condensed oxygen.

"Needle Squall!" Several Pukumon attacked, launching super hard spikes all at once from their metal heads.

As the summoned aquatic Digimon attacked the MarineDevimon, MarineOmnimon swam past them. It flew up out of the water and aimed the Garuru Cannon at Ordinemon's face. "Hydro Garuru Cannon!" Ordinemon grunted in pain as she took the attack.

"Jessica. This battle is dragging on too long. We need to stop holding back." MetalGarurumon said.

"If we go all out, we could potentially destroy this planet. No planet can endure our power." Jessica said.

"What if….we weren't on a planet?" MetalGarurumon suggested.

"....I see." Jessica tracked.

Ordinemon let out a scream. "WHY!? WHY DO YOU CONTINUE TO PROTECT THIS WORLD!? I AM AGENT SALVATION! I WILL RID THIS WORLD OF EVIL!" Ordinemon screamed while looking up towards the sky. MarineOmnimon tilted its head.

"Evil in the world? Yeah….there is. But… there's also a lot of good in this world. It's that good that drives me to fight. I think the good in this world makes putting up with the bad worth it." MarineOmnimon said.

Ordinemon looked down at MarineOmnimon. "You're a fool. The suffering and evil in this world is NOT worth any amount of good you can find. Everything is worthless! Everything is rotten! I will annihilate all life so we can start anew! This world should have never existed in the first place! It's been drenched in bloodshed and tears for thousands of years! That goes for both the physical and digital worlds!" Ordinemon shouted.

MarineOmnimon looked down at its trident. "With all the hate in this world, there is also love. With all of the cruelty, there is just as much kindness. And for every villain, there is a hero." MarineOmnimon said before looking Ordinemon in the face. "You're not the first one to think this world should have never existed, that whoever made it did us a disservice. But…I for one am glad that I exist. I have the opportunity to both love and be loved by others. Is it really better to have never existed in the first place? Sure, you never experience an ounce of pain. But…you never experience an ounce of joy either."

MarineOmnimon raised its Grey Trident above its head. "Now…" It began before forming a big bubble of water to surround its head. MarineOmnimon had formed a big ball of water that covered its head like a helmet. "It's time to end this." MarineOmnimon said. MarineOmnimon flew up under Ordenimon and rammed into her from under her belly. They both began flying rapidly up into the sky! They broke the sound barrier again! Higher, and higher, and higher, and higher they flew! "What do you think you're doing?" Ordinemon asked. "Like I said, I'm finishing this." MarineOmnimon replied. "Why do you oppose me? Why can't you see that I'm just trying to help!?" Ordinemon said. MarineOmnimon didn't answer. They continued to go higher and higher.

They kept going up higher until they found themselves in outer space. The Earth got smaller and smaller behind them. MarineOmnimon then pushed itself back from Ordinemon. They were both now floating in the void of space. MarineOmnimon had created a water helmet over its head so it could breathe. MarineOmnimon looked down and chuckled. "What's so funny?" Ordinemon asked, evidently not bothered by the lack of oxygen. MarineOmnimon looked up towards Ordinemon and said, "Now, I can go all out."

MarineOmnimon raised its trident high above its head. Then, the trident glew brightly. So brightly, that it emitted light rivaling that of the sun. MarineOmnimon swung its trident once, immediately sending out a large stream of energy. One of Ordinemon's wings were cut off! MarineOmnimon swung again, unleashing another stream of light. This chopped off Ordinemon's other wing! "No! Stop it! What are you doing!?" Ordinemon cried out. MarineOmnimon raised its trident again and started forming an ever increasing ball of water up above it. The water was not being drawn from anywhere. Rather, it was being created out of nothing; hydrogenesis! The ball of water got bigger, and bigger, and bigger, until it was the size of Earth's moon (literally, no hyperbole)! "I can't let my plan to bring salvation to the cosmos be ruined!" Ordinemon shouted before firing up a red laser in her mouth. "Just a little more." MarineOmnimon said to itself as the ball of water got bigger. MarineOmnimon then caused the giant ball of water to freeze instantaneously, and shatter into trillions of tiny little shards. "POSEIDON'S JUDGMENT!!!!" MarineOmnimon cried out before swinging its trident downward. When it swung its trident downward, the trillions of tiny shards rained down on Ordenemon. Ordinemon's attack which she was powering up stopped. "NO!!!!!!!!" Ordinemon screamed. Ice shards rained down on Ordinemon for 2 minutes straight. Ordinemon had reached her limit. She dissipated into digital particles before reassembling as two DigiEggs.

MarineOmnimon stood and watched, appreciating its victory. "It's…over." It said.

MarineOmnimon then lost consciousness and began drifting down back towards Earth. It had used up all of its power in that final attack. As MarineOmnimon fell towards Earth, it started to burn upon reentry into Earth's atmosphere. The water bubble helmet it had created for itself completely evaporated. MarineOmnimon had made it back into Earth's atmosphere without completely burning up. The armor it was wearing was a thousand times stronger than that of Normal Omnimon's. Plus, this Omnimon variant was empowered by the aura of Poseidon, more specifically; Anastasia Poseidon. And the god Poseidon was known in Greek myth to be resistant to burns.

MarineOmnimon continued to fall through the sky, unconscious. Suddenly, the fusion broke, and the aquatic knight Digimon broke up into 3 beings again; Jessica, Agumon, and Gabumon. Jessica was in her mermaid form and had her green metallic breast plate, metallic green shoulder armor on, and was holding her trident, although she didn't hold it for long as it slipped out of her hand since she wasn't conscious to keep a good grip on it. Agumon, Gabumon, and Jessica continued their descent. All 3 of them were unconscious.

Down on the ground, The Digidestined, and several Aqualian soldiers were on the ground. Kinandon was there too. Kinandon had summoned the soldiers there to help fight Ordinemon in any way they could. He had felt responsible for allowing this fallen angel Digimon loose onto the universe. He was so bent on getting revenge for his family, and especially his sister, that he had blindly trusted a figure that was literally cloaked in darkness. He thought it ironic that the most brilliant mind on Aqualia could do something so stupid. His self criticism was at an all time high. He usually had a high view of his intelligence, and a low view of his bravery and ability to lead. Now, he had no confidence in either area. He had wondered if he could really continue to lead Aqualia as the king. It occurred to him that Jessica was a descendent of Poseidon and daughter of the queen his father Ahab had overthrown. He wondered if he could convince her to put on the crown. Everyone was looking around, wondering where they had all gone. "How could we lose something that big? Ordinemon is literally a giant Godzilla sized naked angel monster!" Terriermon said. "This looks like New York City. Maybe we're on the wrong part of the planet." Zai said, still holding her BlackGatomon in her arms.

General Coral was looking around with a telescope. Her attention was drawn to 3 distinct objects falling from the sky. She turned her telescope and saw that it was Jessica, Agumon, and Gabumon. "Anastasia and her Digimon! They're falling from the sky!" General Coral exclaimed. Initially, Evander thought that Jessica was just flying down. She had demonstrated that ability after all much earlier, among a host of other abilities. But when she didn't stop, Evander asked "Why isn't she slowing down?" to which General Coral replied "It doesn't look like she's conscious!" Evander looked worried. He knew that as durable as Jessica was while using her powers; there was no way even she could survive a fall from that high up.

Zai didn't hesitate. She spread her bat wings and began running down the road. However, before she could manage to take off, Kinandon flew past her. He flew towards Jessica like a bullet. He grabbed her in his arms, but was unable to grab Agumon and Gabumon as well. Fortunately, a Cherubimon flew up into the air and grabbed them both in his massive hand. Emily was sitting on the Cherubimon's shoulder, still dressed for office work. Kinandon teleported her back safely to the ground and Cherubimon set down Agumon and Gabumon. Flora looked surprised. "Emily? Is that you?" She asked. None of them had seen Emily in 15 years. She didn't even show up to fight the Eaters 2 years prior. Emily had grown distant from them. The reason is because she never stopped loathing herself for being The Digimon Ruler. "Hi…Flora." Emily said.

Kinandon laid Jessica and the two Digimon down on their backs. They remained unconscious. Everyone stared at the three silently for a moment. Evander knelt down in front of his unconscious wife and shook her gently, trying to wake her up. "Jessica, honey. Wake up. Come on. Come on, please wake up." Evander said. Jessica didn't respond. Flora clasped her hands together. "Oh, please….no." She said, fearing the worst. Emily's Cherubimon leaned down close to all of them and went "AAAHHHHH!!!!!" Jessica, Agumon, and Gabumon were startled awake. "Whooa! What? Tell me nobody kissed me." Agumon said. "This scene feels like another reference." Gabumon said. Jessica groaned as she sat up. She looked over to see a happy Evander. "You had us worried there…Anastasia." He said before giving her a quick kiss. Emily raised an eyebrow. "Anastasia? Did…Jessica legally change her name or something?" She asked. Flora looked at Emily and smiled. "Oh, we have a lot of catching up to do." Flora told her.

"What happened?" Mario asked. "As MarineOmnimon, I took Ordinemon into outer space. That way, I could fight her without restraining myself. It was kind of an epic final battle if I do say so myself." Jessica said. "Uh huh. It was like something straight out of an anime movie!" Gabumon said. "It's too bad you missed it." Agumon said. "But it turns out that I overdid it." Jessica said.

Zai was walking back in their direction. She had put Syn down beside her. "Oh! So THAT'S why you were falling out of the sky." Zai said.

Jessica laid back down. "Can we go home? It's been a long day. I just want to take a hot bath, lie in bed, and watch some TV." Jessica said.

Then they heard a voice say "I'm sorry, but you're not going anywhere until you do some explaining." They looked around to see that they were surrounded by military MPs!
