Episode 8: Welcome To My Nightmare

Evander and Jessica had just reached the Field of Dreams and Nightmares. "Evander, I think we should stop at this place for now." Jessica said. Evander looked over to Jessica and frowned. "But we really need to get back to Jijimon's house. Besides, what if we get attacked out here? I mean, not that I'm afraid or anything, I'm just tired. I'd rather rest at Jijimon's house than this place." Evander said. Jessica gestured to their Digimon; Agumon, Gabumon, Terriermon, Ladybugmon, and Gabumon. They were sitting with their butts on the ground, looking exhausted. "Think about your Digimon. They're exhausted. Three fights in one day; Pagumon, Devimon, and Apemon. Even if we can keep going, they need rest." Jessica replied. Evander turned and looked at Gabumon. "Well, what about him? He only fought once and he didn't even do much." Evander said. Jessica scowled at Evander. Evander grimaced. He knew he said something wrong. "Well, I mean, he didn't HAVE to do much. Apemon was so weak. Even that mystery girl said so before she dealt the finishing blow." Evander said in a nervous tone of voice. He was sweating and had his hands up. Jessica sighed. "Evander, PLEASE, let's just rest!" Jessica pleaded. Evander nodded. "Ok. I guess it's my fault we're out here anyway." He said.

Evander and Jessica lay down on the grass, which was purple for some reason. Evander and Jessica were both gazing at the sky. "This starry night sky reminds me of when I was really young. When I was three, my mom and dad took me on a camping trip out in the middle of the woods. Totally off grid. The stars were as bright as they are here; totally unbothered by light polution." Evander said with a smile on his face. He then turned and looked into Jessica's eyes as she lied next to him. He silently stared at her for a moment. Jessica raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What? What is it?" She asked. "Oh, I'm sorry Jessie, this day has been so hectic that I haven't had the opportunity to ask you. Ok, so you're a mermaid, right? That tail you grew is pretty convincing proof. You say you came from another planet? What's that all about?" Evander asked.

"Far away from Earth, there's a planet that consists mostly of water. It's called Aqualia. There, mermen and mermaids live. We are amphibious creatures. We can shift between tails and legs at will. I…can't remember much about my planet. My mother and father brought me to Earth when I was very little." Jessica explained.

"Do you know why they came to Earth? I mean, I'm happy to have you. I'm not upset that they brought you to Earth. It's just that people usually stay on their home worlds, but if you hadn't then we wouldn't be friends. So…yeah." Evander said, starting to sound flustered. He looked flustered too. He was blushing and beginning to sweat a little. What was wrong with him? He had been friends with Jessica for years, but here lately he's been feeling nervous and fluttery whenever he was around her. He sat up and put his hands over his face before lying back down.

"You know what? I….don't know. It never occurred to me to ask." Jessica said.

Their Digimon devolved to their Rookie Forms. Ladybugmon came over and sat between them. "So, you two have known each other for a long time?" Ladybugmon asked. "Yep." Evander replied.

Jessica yawned. "I think I'll just try to go to sleep here. Good night." Jessica said. "Good night." Evander and Ladybugmon said in unison. "Well, one thing's for sure. When We do get home I'll cook you a nice meal." Evander said. "That sounds nice Evander!" Ladybugmon exclaimed.

Evander continued looking at the stars with his Digimon.

"I love this world despite the fact that we have to battle unpredictably." Evander said.

"I just now came alive, so I don't know much about either world. Yours or the Digital World." Ladybugmon said.

Later that night, Evan was tossing and turning on the purple grass. "Aaww man, I can't sleep." Evander thought to himself looking up at the sky. "I wonder why I got so flustered earlier. I've never felt so nervous around Jessica until recently. It's like butterflies are flapping around in my stomach." Evander thought, looking at Jessica and his Digimon.

Evander walked forward, thinking he'll just go find some eggs for breakfast tomorrow. But then he thought "What if anther evil Digimon attacked?" He just went back to his position and laid back down.

Jessica was awake too but was playing possum. "Is he asleep yet?" Jessica thought. She went over there and poked him slightly. "I can't believe I almost lost you." Jessica thought, looking at him. She moved her lips closer to his lips but stopped. "No I want my first Kiss to be Special." Jessica thought. Jessica went back to her Sleeping bag. Evander looked over at Jessica and new thoughts came to his head. Could she have feelings for him? But then, could he have feelings for her?

Ladybugmon got up and poked Evander. "Evander?" Ladybugmon asked. "Yes Ladybugmon?" Evander replied. "I can't sleep." Ladybugmon said. "Me neither.' Evander said. Jessica was lying down, facing the other direction. A mortified look came across her face. She had just tried to kiss Evander, thinking he was out like a light, but he was conscious the whole time, as indicated by his quick response to Ladybugmon. "Did he….know I was there?" Jessica thought. Evander hadn't opened her eyes, but if their lips made contact, he surely would have known. If that happened, she surely would have died of embarrassment.

Evander went with Ladybugmon and sat on logs. Evander was looking down at the ground. "Ladybugmon?" Evander asked Ladybugmon. "Yes." Ladybugmon Answerd. "I Miss my friends at home." Evander said. Ladybugmon patted Evander on the back. "Don't worry, Evander. We will get you home." Ladybugmon said. Evander looked over to his partner Digimon who was sitting next to him and smiled. "Thanks, pal." Evander said. Evander then pulled his partner in for a hug. 

A dark figure was crossing it's arm at it gazed from far at the human, mermaid and digimons.

"Humpf...these mortals are always the same..." it said.

"They don't deserve to live." another voice said nearby.

"Yes, I know that. But these ones seem to have some trouble sleeping...

Perhaps we could help them...in getting a permanent rest!"

The other chuckled.

Evander felt Sleepy. He passed over.

Evander's Dream.

Evander was in a car going to New York city. "Oh boy Mommy! I can't wait to get to new york!" Evander said. But then, a car pulled out in front of them. "AHH!!" They all Screamed. Evander was lying in a hospital bed in the ER. in the other room, the Doctor was talking to his Parents. "M.R and MRS Glovion....we..have no idea if your son is going to survive." The Doctor said. Evander's Cousin's Father who was a scientist would not accept that. "I'll Clone him." He thought.

Meanwhile in reality Evander was shuddering. "No...I'll Be OK' don't do it!" He yelled in his sleep. Jessica looked at Evander. "I think that he is having a bad dream." Jessica said out loud. Jessica checked her Blue D-Power.

The Fields of Dreams and Nightmares can put others into a deep sleep forever. There is no cure yet known but mabie there will be someday. It can only affect Humans and Digimon only.

When Jessica read this, her eyes widened in fear. "But I'm not human....So that's why it didn't affect me!" Jessica said. Jessica then heard Agumon's voice. "I'll go get Mario and the others!" Somehow he managed to wake up despite being in The Field Of Dreams and Nightmare. Jessica reached out towards the little orange dinosaur as he began to ran off. "AGUMON WAIT!!!!!" Jessica cried out. "I'll be back!" Agumon said while he was running. Gabumon got up and ran off too. "Wait, Augie! I'll come with you!"

"Mmmm...seems I won't have to send a little minion right now..." the cloaked figure said.

"I thought the Field's effect had vanished."

"Perhaps a bit, perhaps not. But I'm sure that the green Aspect must be keeping a close watch about the Field, since I thinkthat there can be a way to her realm, the Emerald Dream."

"Insteresting..."

"But it would be foolish to try to assault the green dragons in their realm. They are at their strongest there, easily capable of using illusions, dreams and nightmares to their advantages. They mustn't be underestimated."

"Understood. However, the humans are worthless."

"Undoubtedly true."

Evander was shuddering some more. Terriermon shuddered in his sleep too. Ladybugmon looked at the little bunny Digimon and then his partner with concern.

Regan and Lizomon ran up until they entered the Field of Dreams and Nightmares along with Agumon and Gabumon.

"Okay. We're here at last." Regan said. Then he turned to Agumon. "The way is yours now. Lead us to Evan."

"Geez, you called us and you have no idea what should be done?" Lizomon asked. "Are you nuts?!?"

"Lizomon..." Regan muttered, partly glancing away.

Agumon got really annoyed. "I'M TRYING TO HELP MY TAMER!!!!!!!!!!!" Agumon yelled.

EVANDER'S Dream.

Evander: Wait....Agumon?

Evander was growing in size.

Evander: That's right, I'm a Digimon Tamer!

Evander wakes up. Evander was feeling a little light headed but he looked around. "Jessica, we've got to stop my dark reflection!" Evander panicked. "No wait, it was only a dream." Evander said. "what are you talking about Evander?" Jessica asked. "Oh nothing." Evander looked up and saw Regen. "Oh hi why are you here? You missed me didn't you?" Evander asked.

Ladybugmon glomped Evander and began nuzzling him. "No, but I missed you, Evander!" He said, sounding grateful that his partner was finally awake. "But I didn't go anywhere. At least I don't think I did." Evander said. Ladybugmon stopped nuzzling Evander. Then he pulled back and began hovering in mid-air. "We have to go visit Jijimon." Ladybugmon said. Evander titled his head and showed the inside of his palms with a shrug. "Well, the problem is that we don't know the way to his house." Evander said. It was true. Their plan was to get back to File City first and then ask for directions. They couldn't just go directly there as Evander thought Ladybugmon was implying.

Lizomon smacked himself in the face. "Oh geez, that's just great! We came here for nothing! Absolutely fantastic!" Lizomon shouted, angered.

"I would not say such a thing..." someone said.

The moment Regan and Lizomon heard the voice, both their eyes widened then turned to great anger as they looked around. Lizomon was growling heavily.

"Where are you?!? Show yourself!!!" Regan shouted.

"My, my, my...you are a much impatient one Regan..." the voice said.

Then at some distance away from them, a black cloaked figure. This one was different than the one Evander, Jessica and their Digimons had met in the jungle. This one spoke with a male's voice, not a females.

"Hello Regan. It's been a while..." The male clocked figure calmly said.

"YOU!" Regan shouted, his fists tightened along with an expression of immense hatred on his face.

The cloaked figure chuckled, but it was a sinister chuckling. "Oh forgive me, I forgot to introduce myself...but I believe your friend here..." he said as he pointed at Regan. "...knows me really well..."

"Too well..." Regan grumbled with anger.

BATTLE NOW!

The cloaked figure clutched the left side of his cloak with his right hand, then pulled on it, removing the cloak and throwing it away.

What was revealed was truly something that surely Evander, Jessica and their Digimon hadn't been expecting.

He looked exactly like Regan, only with several differences :

He was gray haired and had blood red eyes. He had slightly scrapped black pants, a purple ragged-lookng shirt along with a red partly scrapped, hoodless cloak. He also wore gray gloves along with grey and black shoes.

The most disturbing thing about him is that nearly every piece of his clothings had splotches of dried blood on him. And it was also obvious it wasn't the blood of only one person...

"I am known as Ragnarok, a god that will sweep the imperfection away." the gray haired Regan said.

"A god?" Regan said. "You're nothing close to it! You're just a mad monster that only seeks to kill, burn and destroy everything!"

"Really? Then if you managed to kill me several times, how am I still alive now? Simply because you cannot stop me little child of Life." Ragnarok said.

Lizomon growled heavily. "Strato Ball!" he shouted as he spewed out a ball of multi-colored energy at Ragnarok.

"Chaos Breaker Ball!" Suddenly, a ball of black and of a mass of multiple dark energies within flew out of nowhere and collided with Lizomon's attack, canceling each other.

Then a digimon appeared near Ragnarok.

And it looked exactly like Lizomon. Only he was completely black and had red eyes filled with clear evil intentions.

"Hehehe...missed me puny original?" the black Lizomon asked.

"Really not, Faker!" Lizomon replied harshly.

Jessica looked worried and looked at Evander, seeing him clenching his fists, looking light he was ready to brawl. "Please calm down Evander, you might make Ladybugmon dark digivolve again. Or get poisoned or...." Jessica was cut off because Evander was speeding at Ragonark. Agumon put his claws up to his face and sweat dropped. "Uh oh!" He said. "Evander! No! Stop! This person isn't normal!" Jessica shouted. Agumon ran off in the direction of his human partner. Evander's Digivice glowed from within his pocket.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Agumon Digivolve to....Greymon!"

Greymon chased after Evander. Given his large size, he didn't have to take too many steps before he was upon him. Greymon picked Evander up. Evander kicked as he was restrained by the large orange dinosaur. "Let me go! Let me go! I'm going to kick his butt!" Evander yelled. "Control your Temper, Evan." Greymon said.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Ladybugmon Digivolve to....Boxerincectmon!"

DIGIVOLUTION

"Terriermon Digivolve to....Gargomon!"

DIGIVOLUTION

"Leormon Digivolve to....Leomon!"

Evander had been set down by Greymon after it was evident that he calmed down. Evander rolled his eyes and scoffed. "Finish them both off so I can get some rest." Evander said. Greymon turned his attention from his human partner to Ragnarok. "Ok." Greymon said.

"Nova Blast!" Greymon exclaimed as he shot a large ball of fire out of his mouth.

"Sonic Boom!" BoxerInsectmon exclaimed as he flapped his wings and sent multiple, condensed slices of air at the enemy.

"Gargo Pellets!" Gargomon shouted, spinning the gatling guns on his arms and firing a plethora of bullets out of the guns.

"Fist Of The Beast King!" Leomon cried out as he punched the air and caused a lion shaped blast of red and orange energy to come flying out of his fist.

"Blue Blaster!" Gabumon cried out as he shot a small stream of blue flames at the opponent.

The attacks all slammed on the black Lizomon, covering him in smoke.

"BlackLizomon, dark digivolve to...BlackRyumon!!!"

Regan looked at his partner. "Lizomon?" he said.

"No need to tell it twice!" Lizomon said then started glowing.

"Lizomon, digivolve to...Ryumon!!!"

Ryumon then charged at the smoke, teeth and claws bearing.

And from the smoke, a black Ryumon with bloody red eyes surged out and charged at Ryumon.

"Blaze Assault Claws!" BlackRyumon shouted as his front paws bursted into dark colored flames as he continued to charge at Ryumon.

However, right when he was close to Ryumon, the red dragon digimon jumped above BlackRyumon and slammed him in the ground with a powerful strike from a hind leg.

BlackRyumon roared, then rolled on his back. "Chaos Breaker Nova!" he shouted as he launched a powerful attack at Ryumon.

"Thunder Wings!" Ryumon said as he flapped his wings which became encased in electricity, then it flew backward from Ryumon to strike at BlackRyumon's attack.

Ryumon then spiraled down and landed on the ground and glared at the black dragon digimon.

"You're still good, Original." BlackRyumon said with a wicked grin.

"You haven't changed much, Faker. But I'll get rid of you, I can assure you that." Ryumon said. "Strato Nova!"

He then spewed out a massive ball of multi-colored energy at the other, which then brought up his wings foward to block the attack as dark purple electricity surged on his wings.

"Dark Thunder Wings!" BlackRyumon shouted as the electricity formed a barrier in front of him and nullified Ryumon's attack.

Then BlackRyumon looked at the other digimons. "Who wants to be the first to go to afterlife?" he asked grinning madly.

BoxerIncectmon ran up to Black Ryumon. "Sonic Boom!" BoxerIncectmon shouted, sending more slicing air waves by furiously flapping his insect wings. "Nova Blast!" Greymon shouted, shooting another large fireball out of his mouth at BlackRyumon.

Evander looked at Regonark. "Can you wait a couple of Hours to pick on us!?" Evander yelled.

BlackRyumon skillfully dodged Greymon and BoxerInsectmon's attack by jumping in the air, then dropping on the ground, right near the two champions. He then spun on himself to strike the other two with his tail.

Ragnarok laughed. "You truly are a fool, little one." he said to Evander. "I don't see why I should do what a pitiful mortal wants me to do."

Evander looked at Regonark. "All you evil dudes are the Same." Evander started. "You think your better than everybody else but that is only because you are no better than a speck of grain." Evander murmerd.

Ragnarok only laughed even more. "You are so ignorant. That is so funny...

You really think I'm just some little speck of grain? Yes, I heard it." he added with a more mad grin.

"I'll show you what the so-called speck of grain can do. You should have never dared to stand up to me, insect." Ragnarok said.

Then he waved his hands around before flames bursted in circles around him, and he brought up a hand behind him, as he held some flames in them, then he threw his hand forward, pointing the open palm straight at Evander. From them, multiple streams of flames poured out along with the flames already present and headed straight for Evander.

Regan quickly moved in the way and pointed his right palm in front of him and a red flash of light manifested on it before a red shield appeared in front of Regan and blocked the flames.

Regan then turned to Evander. "Just don't try to annoy him. He's worser than you think." Regan said.

"Exactly. And here's some more proof. BlackRyumon, digivolve!" Ragnarok ordered.

BlackRyumon, who was locked in a heavy struggle with Ryumon grinned and pushed himself away before starting to glow.

"Ryumon! Hurry up!" Regan said.

Ryumon nodded before he glew too.

"Ryumon, digivolve to...MetalRyumon!!!"

"BlackRyumon, dark digivolve to...SkullRyumon!!!"

A horrible stench beyond anything Evander, Jessica and their Digimons had ever smelled before filled up the area as a horrible beast made its appearance : It looked like a dragon the size of a SkullGreymon, only all other similarities to Ryumon and BlackRyumon ended there. No scales covered his body as he looked skeletal, for his visible flesh looked like it was rotting, the obvious source of the stench. Even his bones were much more visible now. His wings, despite looking terribly damaged and rotten, still allowed him to fly.

Zombie dragon, undead dragon, those were other ways to name that monstrosity.

Regan raised an arm to block as best the terrible stench to come to him.

MetalRyumon growled at the skeletal dragon who looked only mad.

"Meet SkullRyumon! He will take good care of you, that I can assure you..." Ragnarok said.

"Regen...you saved my life...AGAIN!!" Evander said. Evander then got a wiff of SkullRyumon. He put one hand on his nose and wave the fumes away with the other. "Eeww! It smells like 10 Dead Fish mixed ip with some dirty socks ad couple of Stink fumes." Evander complained while waving his hand. Then Evander thought of something funny. "Regonark needs to bathe." Evander taunted. Jessica looked over to Evander and shouted "Shut up Gogglehead!" She was afraid of invoking Ranarok's wrath again. Regen had already blocked an attack from him once when Evander ticked him off.

BoxerIncectmon: Sonic Boom!

Gargomon: Gatling Arm!

Leomon: Fist of the Beast King!

Greymon: Nova Blast!

Gabumon: Blue Blaster!

Attacks sent at the Smelly Dragon.

Greymon: That should do it.

Ranarok continued to smile at how the others reacted to the horric odor that SkullRyumon was letting out.

The digimon didn't move, letting himself be hit by the attacks. And he didn't flinch at all when he was hit by the attacks. "Hahaha! You really think you can stop me?" SkullRyumon said. He then raised a paw with rotting flesh on it. "Let's get rid of a few of you. Dread Claws!" he shouted, then rushed forward at the champions and rookie digimon. But his paw was parried by another massive paw, but one of metal.

"Don't you ever attack anyone equal to you?" MetalRyumon said as he struggled to hold SkullRyumon. "Instead of fighting those weaker ones...fight me instead!" MetalRyumon said, then he heatbutted SkullRyumon, sending him away.

"Inferno Cyclone Missiles!" MetalRyumon shouted as several ports on his body opened up let reveal many missiles pods loaded. Then they all fired at SkullRyumon who was still recovering from the headbutt and was hit by all of the missiles, sending him farther away.

"Okay...IT'S BLASTING TIME!!!" MetalRyumon roared, then opened up a huge amount of ports of his body, revealing even more missile pods while the other one rechanged. Many cannons also jutted out while MetalRyumon's wings glowed of a blazing blue as he raised them.

MetalRyumon then threw his head foward, opened his mouth, letting a big cannon out of it.

Now, he really looked like a mighty weapon platform.

"Strato Cannons! Inferno Cyclone Missles! Freezing Wings!" MetalRyumon shouted.

Then all his cannons glowed before they all fired, followed by all of the missiles pods shooting up, then he flapped his wings toward SkullRyumon, letting out large freezing shockwaves out of them.

All the attacks impacted hard on SkullRyumon, covering him in smoke.

When the smoke dissipated, it was to reveal a heavily panting BlackLizomon which was still growling.

"Watch out! It ain't over yet!" Regan then warned.

BlackLizomon started glowing dark again.

"BlackLizomon, dark warp digivolve to...ChaosRyumon!!!"

Now, instead of BlackLizomon stood a tall black dragon digimon that was the size of a WarGreymon. He wore a gray knight-like armor (without a helmet), only it was splattered with blood. Dark markings, which were the crest of Death, could be seen on it's slightly ragged wings. And he also wielded a pair of long wrist blades on his arms.

MetalRyumon glowed as well.

"MetalRyumon, mega digivolve to...UltimaRyumon!!!"

UltimaRyumon then raised his hand, summoning his sword and stood ready to fight.

He partly looked at the other Digimons. "You. Leave now. This isn't your battle." UltimaRyumon said.

Regan stepped forward from Evander and Jessica. "UltimaRyumon's right. Your digimons can't do nothing now.

Ragnarok is only ours to deal with. No one else should be involved in that." Regan said.

UltimaRyumon and ChaosRyumon charged at each other, clashing with wristblades and sword.

DIGIVOLUTION

"Gabumon Digivolve to....Garurumon!'

The Digimon did not listen. BoxerIncectmon ran up to ChaosRyumon. "Rapid Punches!" BoxerInsectmon shouted as he rapidly punched ChaosRyumon with a flurry of punches, probably 300 punches in 30 seconds!

"Howling Blaster!" Garurumon shouted, shooting out a larger stream of blue flames from his mouth, larger than when he was Gabumon.

"Stop Fighting!" Evander yelled from afar. "No Regen and his Digimon keep pulling me out of the ring! I won't give up!" Boxerincectmon yelled.

ChaosRyumon simply grinned when BoxerInsectmon punched him in the face.

In fact, he didn't move one inch at all. For a moment, he just remained there, with the champion digimon still there after having attempted to attack him. "Pitiful..." ChaosRyumon said. Then he reached out with lightning speed and grabbed BoxerInsectmon by his neck. "You are nothing but a very little insect, which I shall truly enjoy squashing!" ChaosRyumon said.

He then raised his free hand to cut BoxerInsectmon in half...then suddenly, vines poured out of the ground and wrapped around ChaosRyumon's arm, preventing him from attacking. Regan had his right hand pointing toward ChaosRyumon with an expression of immense concentration.

UltimaRyumon quickly charged at ChaosRyumon, then in one flash, he just passed close to him, his blade to his side. ChaosRyumon was suddenly thrown on the side, ripping away the vines then he brought himself back on his limbs.

"You..." he growled. "I'll deal with the insect later!"

"Finish UltimaRyumon now." Ragnarok ordered.

But then he looked thoughtful. "Regan...perhaps we should give it all in that battle, shouldn't we?

After all, both our Digimons aren't fighting at their strongest." he said.

Ignoring whatever reaction that the others may have about hearing that ChaosRyumon and UltimaRyumon could be even stronger, Regan replied. "All or nothing eh?" he asked.

"You're the only one which can truly oppose me. With you out of the way, no one shall oppose me." Ragnarok said.

"Kari's as strong as me Ragnarok. And there's the 'Wiseful One' as well. Don't ignore them. They can oppose you as much as I.

"But I think you're right...we should finish this...now..." Regan replied.

"UltimaRyumon..." Regan said.

"Chaos..." Ragnarok simply said.

Both digimons then stopped and looked at their partner, as if understanding something, and moved up to their partner's sides before...they de-digivolved back to Lizomon and BlackLizomon.

"Life and Death...the eternal cycle as you said..." Ragnarok said.

"You had once said to me that even if I would return, you still stop me. In fact, you knew I'd return."

"It's too obvious." Regan said. "I know you very well.But now...let's try to give it a temporary end!"

"We shall see..." Ragnarok said.

Regan removed the glove from his right hand, which them started to glow even more.

Ragnarok threw his arms to his sides, extending them as a black aura spread to him and BlackLizomon.

Then Regan clapped his hands together and spoke a few words, just as Ragnarok also spoke the same words...

"Bio-Merge Activate!!!"

Then Regan and Lizomon were engulfed in a red light as Ragnarok and BlackLizomon were engulfed in a dark one.

"Lizomon, bio-merge to..."

"BlackLizomon, dark bio-merge to..."

Two massive globes of light, respectively of red and black colors appeared, where the pair of Regan and Lizomon and the other pair of Ragnarok and BlackLizomon had been standing, and rose up in the air.

Then the two of them exploded, as new voices shouted...

"LifeRyumon!!!"

"DeathRyumon!!!"

Two new digimon appeared in the skies. LifeRyumon looked just like UltimaRyumon except that he's the same size than Angewomon and wears a white knight-like armor(which has the crest of Life marked on the armor's chest) and has four wings(with the crest of Life marked on each of them). He also have a helmet similar to WarGreymon's one except that the two horns points backwards.

As for DeathRyumon, he was like ChaosRyumon except that he's the same size than Angewomon and wears a black knight-like armor(which has the crest of Death marked on the armor's chest) and has four wings(with the crest of Death marked on each of them). All the wings look heavily damaged with many holes in them, yet the digimon can still fly. He also have a helmet similar to WarGreymon's one except that the two horns points backwards. The digimon also wears a long ragged black cloak on the armor and looks constantly covered in an unknown shadow. Unlike LifeRyumon who wields a sword, DeathRyumon wields a giant bloodied scythe.

"Hehehe...Life and Death...the eternal cycle is it, right?" DeathRyumon said. "But it seems we are always fated to face each other, isn't it? Let the eternal struggle begin anew!"

LifeRyumon pointed his sword at DeathRyumon. "Perhaps, but I will defeat you!"

Then both rushed at each other.

LifeRyumon swung his sword at DeathRyumon who crouched, then lunged foward with his scythe, but LifeRyumon quickly jumped in the air.

Just as he did, BoxerInsectmon and Lemon came in to attack DeathRyumon.

He quickly raised his scythe in front of him and made it spinning. "Death Shield!" he shouted as a black shield surrounded him from the attack, generated by the scythe.

"You little pests are not even worth my time! Soul Reaping Blast!" DeathRyumon shouted before he unleashed a dark blast from his mouth.

"They're actually are better than you think."

LifeRyumon created a shield on his arm that he threw down to block DeathRyumon's attack before he came down on DeathRyumon, swinging his sword at him, then making a stab move, managing to hit DeathRyumon twice.

Then LifeRyumon opened his maw. "White Flame Wave!" he shouted and unleashed a wave of white flames from his mouth, heavily burning DeathRyumon.

DeathRyumon grunted from the attack, then he stood partly kneeled and gazing at LifeRyumon with a fanatic look.

"Heh...you're good as always..." DeathRyumon said.

"And you're still as worse as ever." LifeRyumon replied.

"Don't worry. I'll get worser. And one day, I'll get you.

After all, Death is inevitable..." DeathRyumon said before he vanished in a dark cloud.

LifeRyumon lowered his sword, then looked at the other digidestined.

"Thanks..." he said. "Even if it was just a small distraction...it was worth it."

Then he glowed before defusing back to Regan and Lizomon.

"Geez Regan. Everytime we face that freak, you always seem to forget that you can use others' help against him." Lizomon said.

"Sorry..." Regan said, partly looking down. "It's just...he really makes me angry. I'd really want him gone."

"But we don't know how exactly he can be permanently destroyed." Lizomon said. "And as long as we haven't found the way, we'll have to continue fighting him...along with others. After all, this is not a matter that only concerns you."

Evander looked at Boxerincectmon who de-digivolved back to Ladybugmon. "Aww man let's go to sleep." He then passed out onto the ground. Terrermon did too and so did Jessica. "Oh crud, I'm gonna have t carry al this luggege." Leomon said. Leomon bent down on 1 Knee and picked up the sleeping Digidestend. "Let's go to Jijimon's House now." Leomon said. Agumon looked at Leomon with a smile on his face. "OK." Agumon said. "Come on Regen, you must me tired too." Leomon said as he looked at Regen and Lizomon. "Well that's a Givein." Agumon said. "They used alot of Energy." Agumon said. "I hope we don't see other clones of ourselves." Evander said. "What..I..I thought, I thought you were asleep." Leomon said.

"Not quite." Evander said with his eyes closed. Evander was really tired and he wondered if he would get some rest at Jijimon's House. "You know it wouldn't be such a bad Idea if we got something to eat either." Agumon said.

Then they heard a Voice. "Help! get me outta here!" Chessmon said. Leomon looked down at him. "Hello." Leomon Said. "Hello. I'm Chessmon." Chessmon said. Leomon said "Hi." Then Jessica's Digivice Glew. She looked at the screen. "Partner Found." was what was on the screen. They Knew that Chessmon was Jessica's New Partner.

"Fighting him was tiring, especially since I fought on all levels."

"Perhaps, but I don't think he's gonna attack us again. He too has suffered a good amount of damage as well."

"Now at last we can get to Jijimon's house!"

"You said it. I wonder why he wanted to see us..."

"Well, yeah. I gotta admit that all that action I did has been tiring." Lizomon said nonchalantly.

"But I think we can hold on up to Jijimon's house. Let's get there."

"Okay. I'll lead the way." Lizomon said as he went up forward from the others.

Regan also took a look at the new digimon that seemingly appeared near Leomon.

"Probably a new partner for one of them..." he thought. "You noticed him Lizomon?"

"Yeah, I did." Lizomon mentally answered back.

What the other kids didn't know about Regan and Lizomon was that their first bio-merge left an after-effect on them. A unique bond had developed between them, allowing the two to know things about the other, and also sometimes to mentally speak to the other.

It was rather unusual...but Regan was unusual...

Even among the Digidestineds...

Leomon: Well we cant rest here. we might have good dreams but we can't take that chance.

"Honestly, that wasn't really my intention to remain here." Regan said. "So, let's leave this place and quick."

Lizomon nodded before he walked along his partner. "Let's go to Jijimon's house."
