Episode 6: Reunion! (Part 3)

"Kill….kill…..kill……KILL!!!" Evander said, starting off with soft mutters which then grew into a loud shout.

Then, a flash of black light came out of Evander's digivice and enveloped Ladybugmon. Ladybugmon's eyes widened with surprise. He looked down at his little black hands. "Whoa! What…what's going on?" Ladybugmon asked. Suddenly, the black energy enveloped Ladybugmon entirely! Words scrolled across Evander's digivice in big red letters, which he didn't even notice because he was too focused on Devimon and Jessica.

WARP DARK DIGIVOLUTION

Ladybugmon warp Dark Digivolve to.....Hornetmon.

In Ladybugmon's place was now a massive Digimon with a long, slender dark red tail that had a large, nasty looking stinger on the end. Hornetmon also had evil looking eyes. He had six insectoid wings on his back and a strong jaw full of sharp teeth. He also had two large arms with venomous stingers for fingers. He had acid dripping from his tail stinger and his eyes were bloodshot. Evander still hadn't even noticed! (O.o) "Put Jessica down! Give her back to me!!" He yelled. Devimon shrugged. "Ooook." He taunted. He was going to slam Jessica's face into the concrete, but before he had a chance, Hornetmon knocked him back with a punch! Jessica fell onto the ground, relatively unharmed. Evander still hadn't noticed his partner had dark digivolved. Evander ran towards Devimon ready to beat the ever loving stuffing out of him. Jessica looked over to Regen with a panicked look on her face. "REGEN! USE YOUR SUPER POWERS!" Jessie called. Evander went charging towards Devimon!

Regen looked over to Jessica and his eyes widened as he saw Evander charging towards Devimon again. "Super powers? Oh yeah!" Regan said.

He closed his eyes and partly brought his hands together, like if he was praying as he started muttering words.

Then a wind suddenly knocked Evan back away from Devimon and near the others. As soon as Evan touched the giant-sized roots pulled out of the ground and wrapped around Evan, binding him there.

"That should do it." Regan said as he opened his eyes.

UltimaRyumon growled. "Great...just what I needed : two annoying Devimons. Anyway, I don't think you can exactly be as strong as you claim. Only the Sovereign were powerful on their own. Usually other Digimons were powerful through some kind of source. So you aren't as 'all-powerful' as you claim."

He raised his free hand in the air and charged multi-colored energy in it.

"An obvious proof of it. You may have that so-called power, but your physical body isn't as strong." UltimaRyumon added.

Hornetmon swung his huge hands which were dripping yellowish orange liquid venom at Devimon. "Acid Stingers! Acid Stingers!" Hornetmon shouted as he swung his claws twice. Devimon jumped back and dodged both of Hornetmon's swings.

Jessica looked worried. Evander looked really uncomfortable being restrained by Regen's vines. "Don't squeeze him! Just keep him in one spot." Jessica said. After struggling for a few minutes, Evander finally calmed down. He looked up and saw Hornetmon repeatedly slashing at Devimon while Devimon repeatedly dodged. "WHO IS THAT GIANT HORNET!?" Evander asked shocked. "Hornetmon. Ladybugmon digivolved into something different….and he looks kind of scary." Augie said, walking up to Evan. Evander sighed. "OK!" I'l Digi modify as soon as Regen let's me go." Evander said. "No problem. Claw Attack!" Augie exclaimed as he cut the vines. "Cool." Evander said, now freed.

Evander took out a card from his pocket which had six white wings on it. Evander scanned it through his orange D-Power and shouted "Digi-Modify! Hyper Wing Activate!" Then, six white wings like the ones that were on the card sprouted from Augie's back. He flew around. "Pepper Breath!" Augie shouted as he shot a ball of fire at Devimon. The ball of fire hit Devimon in the face and didn't phase him a bit. Evander pumped his fist while he looked up at the little orange winged dinosaur! "Don't give up, Augie! You can do it, Augie!" Evander exclaimed. Hornetmon looked annoyed that Augie had joined the battle. He knocked Augie out of the air with his claw. Augie fell to the ground with the thud. Evander looked astonished. "Hornetmon! What are you doing!? Augie is our friend! Our ally!" Evander exclaimed.

Then the thought occurred to him. He was enraged at Devimon because of how he had threatened Jessica. He was so furious that he thought about doing really nasty and, well, let's just say, unpleasant things to Devimon. He wanted him to suffer for even daring to think about hurting his best friend. Was this a dark digivolution like the kind he saw on the Digimon TV show?

Evander took out his D-Power and pulled up the Digimon Analyzer.

"Hornetmon.

Type: Incectoid.

Attribute: Virus.

Level: Mega.

Attacks: Acid Stinger, Venomous Claws.

A Digimon with a dark temperament. He only seeks to hunt his prey and will get rid of any Digimon that dares to interfere with his hunt."

"So it's true. Hornetmon is a dark digivolution!" Evander exclaimed.

Regan pointed at Hornetmon.

"See him? That's what your recent actions just caused." Regan said to Evan.

"That's Ladybugmon?" Evander asked, shaking. "Pretty Much." Jessica said. Hornetmon saw the other Digimon and Forgot about Battling Devimon and lunged at them. "Venomous Claws!" He Attacked Regen's Digimon. "NO, LADYBUGMON!" Evander yelled. Jessica frantically looked over to her Digimon partner. "Leormon now!" Jessie called.

DIGIVOLUTION

Leormon Digivolve to....Leomon!

Standing in Leormon's place was now a bi-pedal creature with large pecks, abs, rugged pants, and a lion's face. He had a sword in a sheath to his side. He had feet that were like lion's paws. This was Leormon's Champion form; Leomon. Jessica clasped her hands together and smiled brightly. "Leomon! He's so cool!" Jessica said, admiring her Digimon. Leomon punched the air while shouting "Fist Of The Beast King!" Red and orange energy burst out of his fist in the shape of a lion's head and went in Hornetmon's direction. Before the attack could land, Leomon turned toward's Devimon's direction and used the attack on him. "Fist Of The Beast King!"

"Jessie Don't hurt him!" Evander exclaimed.

Devimon #1 smiles and easily dodges the attack by side-stepping in mid-air. "Seriously, I'm way out of your league. You might as well give up while I play with the big boys and girls."

Devimon #2 turns toward UltimaRyumon, MagnaAngemon, and Angewomon. "Still don't believe we're stronger? Well then, I think it's time we showed you. Evil Wing!" A large cloud of darkness forms over Devimon and the entire town before rushing at the three Digimon with incredible force and speed. "Devimon! You fiend!" Leomon shouted before letting out a loud roar. He sounded exactly like a lion.

Leomon ran up to Devimon #1 and repeatedly tried to stab him. However, Devimon #1 kept moving to side, dodging each one of Leomon's thrusts. Devimon #1 then flapped his wings and shouted "Laser Wing!" He sent black colored lasers out of his wings while he flapped. Leomon was able to deflect all of the laser blasts with his sword. Leomon then tried to slash Devimon #1 horizontally. "Beast Sword!" Leomon shouted. Devimon #1 jumped back and dodged it.

Hornetmon shot a barrage of stingers out of his hands and tail as projectiles. "Acid Stingers!" the stingers were all aimed at Devimon #1.

UltimaRyumon had quickly flown higher to dodge Hornetmon's attack, then he aimed at the attacking Devimon.

"Strato Force!" UltimaRyumon then shouted as he summoned back the energy he had been preparing along with new one, then threw it as a multi-colored ball of energy at Devimon's attack.

"Celestial Arrow!" Angewomon shouted as she sent out a white arrow to strike at Devimon's attack as well.

On the other side of Devimon, Evander was trying to get Hornettmon to Devolve. He used the restraining rope (which was made of some kind of energ) that came out of his D-Power's screen. "Hornetmon! Please stop!" Hornetmon shouted. Hornetmon was about to fly towards MetalRyumon, Angewomon, and MagnaAngemon to attack them, Hornetmon looked down at Evander, annoyed. Hornetmon took his stinger and sliced Evander across the abdomen! "AHH!" Evander cried out in pain. Jessica gasped, and covered her mouth in shock. Jessica ran over to her friend of 5 years as he fell onto his back. "Evander! Evander!" Jessica exclaimed in panic. Evander's stomach was bleeding. Jessica looked up at Hornetmon with an angry look on her face. "Ladybugmon! Look at what you did to Evander!" She shouted.

Evander was laying there weak. "It's...not...his...fault...It's… mine." He said with his hand over his wound. Evander removed his shirt, not wanting to stain it with blood. "This…is my favorite shirt. I don't….want it stained" Evander said, speaking through his pain. Somehow the shirt managed to avoid getting ripped, much less stained. Evander's shirt had blown up just slightly due to wind pressure created by Hornetmon's tail.

Jessica exclaimed "I need a cloth!" She was calling one of the Digidestends fighting Devimon. Jessica then turned her attention back to Evander. "I can't believe you are hurt and you're thinking abput the blood staining your clothes." Jessica thought.

Flora looks over and sighs. She runs over to Evan and examines the wound. She chuckles a bit. "You call this serious? On my planet, wounds don't become serious unless they are on major organs." She shrugs and pulls out a small medical kit filled with herbs and other things. "Well, this is what you get for messing around, idiot." She puts a few herbs down in front of Evan and then pours some spices on the wounds to stop the bleeding.

Devimon #2 stops his attack and catches the arrow, but he is too slow to stop UltimaRyumon's attack. He is hit and hit hard as the attack blasts through him, causing him to explode into data.

Devimon #1 smiles a bit. "Well, it appears you found a weak point. Although all of us are strong, we all have some small weak points. Mine is speed. Another attack like that, and I'm finished." A cloud of shadows starts to surround Devimon. "We'll meet again, Digidestined," he says as he starts to disappear into the shadows.

"Thanks Flora and Jessie." Evander said, through his pain. It was odd. The cut wasn't that bad, even Flora could see that. So, why did it hurt so much? He tried to get up but staggered. Ok, now this was really weird. Why would his strength be sapped just from a slight abdominal slash wound?

"Should I carry him or would you carry him?" Jessica asked Flora. Meanwhile Hornetmon was still on the Rampage. "Acid Stingers!" He attacked all the Digimon. Fortunately, they all jumped out of the way of the projectile venomous stingers to dodge. "Hornetmon....stop!" Evander yeledl as he was trying to stand. Jessica put him over her Shoulders like an Army man would carry his buddy if he got badly injured. "She ran as fast as a girl could with a boy who wghs 20 more pounds than her. "I got you." She said. "KARI DO SOMETHING!" Jessie calld. "But don't hurt him." Evander said, losing consiousness.

UltimaRyumon's wings glowed blue, then he made a large flap with them. "Frost Nova Wings!" he shouted as he unleashed several larges freezing shockwaves and a massive hail of icicles toward Hornettmon's attacks, which froze the moment they were touched by the blasts.

UltimaRyumon raised his sword horizontally to his eye level, a cold gaze in it as he looked toward Hornetmon.

Then he charged at Hornettmon with a great amount of speed, but as he neared, he suddenly moved to the side and let out a long slash with his sword as it glowed with many colors. "Strato Blade!" UltimaRyumon shouted as he unleashed the attack.

"Stop!" Evander shouted, having regained consiousness. He was only out for a brief moment. "It's all your fault anyway! " Terriermon said. "If you could control your anger we could have not attacked him at all." Augie said. Hornettmon took only a little damage. Jessie still had Evan on her shoulders. "Harsh but true." She said. Evander lost consiousness again. Jessica gently put Evan on the Ground and listened to his heart. "He's still breathing I just think he's worn out." Jessie said. "FROM WHAT WE WERE DOING ALL THE....Oh him trying to beat Devimon up ok. No problemo. " Terriermon said.

"Acid Stingers!" Hornetmon shouted, shooting mutliple venom coated stingers out of his fingers and tail. Terriermon ran away to avoid getting hit. Hornetmon slowly turned his body as Terriermon ran, narrowly avoiding the projectiles.

Hornetmon stopped his attack. When he did, Terriermon turned around and looked in his direction. "Bunny Blast!" Terriermon shouted, firing lots of small green fireballs out of his mouth. Hornetmon got hit by all of the green fireballs. They didn't phase him one bit. "Well, that didn't work. Well, if at first you don't suceed, " Terriermon said before taking a breath. "Bunny Blast!" Unfortunately, this time, nothing came out of his mouth. Terriermon's eyes widened, he had a drop of sweat go down the side of his face. "Uh oh! My Bunny Blast just got up and hopped away!" He said. Terriermon had run out of energy to battle! Jessica grabbed Evan's digivice and took one of her cards to help Terriermon. "Digi-Modify! Recharge Activate!" Jessica exclaimed as she scanned the card through her friend's digivice. Terriermon then perked up. "Whoa! I feel re-energized!" He said. Terriermon then span around rapidly and created a vortex of wind which he then sent toward Hornetmon. "Terrier Tornado!" The little tornado hit Hornetmon, but again, he didn't seem the least bit phased by the attack.

Hornetmon lunged at Terriermon and tried to take a swipe at him with his claw! Terriermon jumped to the side, narrowly avoiding getting hit!

Flora backs away. "I'm not carrying you." She gets up and watches the battle. She turns back to Evan. "You know what I'm thinking? Perhaps you should try to show more of your light side toward Hornetmon. When you revealed your dark side, it became this. Maybe if you show a lot of compassion toward it, you might be able to change him back."

Evander looked at her. "I think you may be on to something, Flora." Evander said. Evander went up to Hornettmon. "EVANDER! Are you losing it again!?" Jessica yelled. Evander looked back at her and gave her a thumbs up. "I know what I'm doing." Evander Said. Evander then looked at Hornetmon and thought to himself "I have no idea what I'm doing." Evander went up to Hornetmon and hugged him. Evander hugged him and closed his eyes. Hornetmon was about to attack until a tear came from his eye. Hornetmon glowed in a yellow light and then began to shrink. He was de-digivolving. He de-digivolved into a wormlike Digimon with a little horn on his head. This Digimon was Ladybugmon's baby form; Larvamon. Larvamon was crying. "I'm sorry. I've been bad." Larvamon said through his tears. Evander picked up the little worm Digimon and cradled him like a baby. "It'll be alright boy, It'll be alright." Larvamon said.

"Do you remember anything?" Terriermon asked. "Yes and I could not control myself." Larvamon replied.

Evander flinched and grabbed his side where Hornettmon slashed it. He dropped Larvamon on the ground in the process. "THE PAIN!!!!!!! It's Excruciating!" He said, squinting and holding his side. Jessica looked worried.

"Help.....me.......please!" Evander pleaded. He still couldn't understand what was happening to him. Whatever this was, it wasn't a normal wound. He would lose and regain energy, and now, this sudden sharp pain? Evander looked over to Regen with a look of desperation on his face. "Regen.......can…YOU USE...YOUR SUPER POWERS...to Heal me!!!!!????!?!?!?!?!?!?" He asked.

Brian stood there looking at the ground, "He got away.." Brian said in an upset voice, referring to Devimon. MagnaAngemon lands behind Brian, "I'm sorry Brian. I let you down.. Please forgive me." MagnaAngemon said in his cool calm voice.

Brian turned to MagnaAngemon and just hugged him, "You could never let me down MagnaAngemon.. You're my best friend and I care for you a lot. No matter what." Brian said with a warm smile on his face and continued hugging MagnaAngemon.

"I love you MagnaAngemon.." Brian whispered. "Brian! Brian!" a familiar voice shouted. Brian backed away from MagnaAngemon and saw his sister. "Gelsey?" Brian said out loud. The two siblings gave each other hugs then released each other.

BATTLE OVER!

"Hey Brian nice to see ya again!" Hawkmon said with a smile on his face. "Hawkmon!" Brian shouted right before he gave him a hug. Gelsey turned to MagnaAngemon and gave him a hug, "Hey there MagnaAngemon I missed you too!" Gelsey said as she released MagnaAngemon.

MagnaAngemon smiled at both his old friends, "Look like we're all back together.." MagnaAngemon stated. "Yep common Gelsey Kari and Regan are here!" Brian said as he dragged his sister over to Kari and Regan. "Kari and Regan are here?" Gelsey asked in excitement.

MagnaAngemon walked behind the two teens along side of Hawkmon, "Can you believe we're back together again?" Hawkmon asked. "Yes. it's very happy moment.. But something is gonna happen if they came back.." MagnaAngemon replied.

Jessica got annoyed as the others seemed to be utterly oblivious to what was going on. "Hello!? TAMER DOWN OVER HERE!" Jessica shouted. "B...Boy...with...Pata...mon....use...Magna Anti...dote...." Evander said, his speech starting to slur. "BRIAN QWICK BEFORE HE DIES!!!!!!!" Jessica shouted. Evander went to hollering again. "Uh AAAAAAHHHH!!!!"

"No." Jessica said softly.

"This is all my fault!" Larvamon said, crying.

Evander began writthing. "THE PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Jessica Checked her Digimon analyzer on her Blue D-Power "Oh No, It says that Hornettmon's Stinger has Venom that leaves the victim suffering in a burning pain untill He/She Dies." Jessica explained. "It also says that we need a special Herb. Mcboo Herb found in the Tropical Jungle." Jessica said. "Flora you may Have Helped it but the Venom is still gonna kill him." Jessica said. "AAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!" He Yelled. "I hope you already have one of those Flora." Jessica said.

DIGIVOLUTION

Larvamon Digivolve too....Bedmon!

"Even if we don't have one, then we can hurry to get there. MetalRyumon can give most of us a good transport." Regan said.

UltimaRyumon nodded before he de-digivolved to MetalRyumon.

"Angewomon, you should digivolve too. You'll be able to carry the others." Kari said.

Angewomon nodded.

"Angewomon, digivolve to...Magnadramon!!!"

Regan quickly hopped on MetalRyumon who walked toward the pained Evan while Magnadramon let Kari get on.

"Geez, what makes those kids you have superpowers, Regan?" MetalRyumon said.

"Don't blame them. It's the first time they saw an example of druidism." Regan replied.

"Druidism?" Kari asked. "So you finally managed to master it?"

"A lot." Regan replied. "The magic of nature. The power to commune with nature and to wield its power to assist me. I thought it would have been a good idea to try those, considering my crest and what I can already do."

"I don't think there can be any other kind of magic that suits you well. It's perfect for you." Kari replied with a smile.

Regan blushed a bit while MetalRyumon was mumbling something.

"Anyway, I'll grab the sick kiddo along with letting others get on. Magnadramon, you'll follow up with the others."

"Okay." Magnadramon replied.

"Those who want to come with Evan, get on MetalRyumon. But be warned : He's really fast when he moves. He may look bulky, but that's just an appearance." Regan said.

Jessica tried to pick Evander up. "Kari? A little help?" Jessica asked. "Evander, you're gonna be OK." Jessica said. She walked over to Flora. She had something she wanted to ask. "Flora? have you ever loved anyone but they were about to...leave if you will before you told them that you love them?" Jessica asked. She felt a bit embarrassed and hope Flora wouldn't realize that she was referring to herself.

Flora snorts a bit. "Love? Do you know what that word means on my planet? If you said that to someone on Felinia, you'd be killed before another word could leave your mouth." She turns and walks away from Evan. Her thoughts were filled with unfamiliar things, though. For some reason, every time she looked at Mario, she felt strangely attached to him. Could it be true? Could Gatomon be right? Was she in love?

Jessica was so confused. "Is She really not supposed to love anybody?" She thought. Evander was Shuddering on MetalRyumon. "Jessica?" Leomon said coming over. "Leomon, you still have not DeDigivolved?" She Asked. "Well, I still have plenty of energy. Never mind that. There is something I would like to ask you." Leomon said.

"What's that?" Jessica asked. Leomon pulled no punches. "You love Evander, don't you?" He asked. Jessica's face turned beat red. "I never said that!" Jessica exclaimed. "But it's true, Isn't it?"

Jessica blushed but realized she could no longer hide the truth. "well...umm....yes." She said. "Well Why don't you Tell him?" Leomon Asked. "but what if he doesn't like me the same way?" She asked. Leomon put his hand on her shoulder and said. "You'll never know if you don't ask." "But what if...." Jessica was cut off by Leomon. "What if!? What if my Aunt had A mustache she'd be my uncle." Leomon joked. Leomon's joking tone turned serious again. "What I'm trying to say is that if you don't risk anything you'll never get anywhere in life." Jessica was swaying back and forth nervously. "OK I'll tell him. as soon as he wakes up."

Jessica went over to Evander and kept looking at him. "OK Regen, let's get moving." Leomon said.

MetalRyumon looked at Magnadramon. "See you at the Jungles then."

Magnadramon nodded. Then MetalRyumon took off to the skies, then rushed in the Jungle's direction.

Kari looked toward where MetalRyumon left, in fact having especially followed Regan with her gaze.

Then she looked at Mario, Flora, Zai and their digimons. "If you want to come, then get on Magnadramon. There should be enough place." Kari said.

She then looked at Ghelsey and BJ. "I guess you guys are going to use your own digimons to ride, right?"
