Episode 24: Son Of A Glitch!

"EVAN! WHAT THE FLIP ARE YOU DOING?" comes Mario's voice. "IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU'RE TRYING TO BLOW EVERYONE TO KINGDOM COME RATHER THAN SAVE US!"

The smoke from all of the attacks clears, and yet none of the Digimon seemed too hurt. They only continued to approach the group.

Zai had kept silent the entire time, having followed Mario, rather than stay put with her little cat digimon where stronger digimon were causing havoc.

Syn blinked some, "...with all the sounds, it makes me think of a group of hungry DarkTyrannomon all after the same thing to eat..." she mumbled, proving that her headache had faded enough to start commenting, especially with a look in her eyes like she was tempted to run around in circles, even while Evan fought Jijimon.

Evander looked in shock at the fact that Jijimon had sustained no damage from the immensely powerful attack that his MetalGreymon had launched, which was amplified by the power of his allies. "IT DIDN'T DO MUCH DAMAGE!!!!!???" Evander yelled, the shock filling his voice. Evander bent down and picked his little black fuzz ball of a Digimon up. He looked down at him with a worried look on his face.  "Botamon are you ok?" Evander asked. Botamon struggled to open his eyes. He made a Weak squeak. "Yes...I'm.......OK." Botamon said. Evander looked mad. "I can't take it anymore!!!!" Evander yelled. Tankbugmon rolled toward the approching Digimon. "HYPER CANNON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Tankbugmon attacked, shooting two massive streams of white hot energy out of the cannons on his arms. Rapidmon attacked as well. "Tri Beam!" Rapidmon caused energy to take the form of a triangle and then launched it at Jijimon. Yet again, Jijimon just takes the attacks and is unphased. 

Jessica jumped in front of Evander. The orange haired girl took his blue card and scanned it through her own digivice, which was a Blue D-Power. "Digi-Modify! Matrix Digivlution activate!" Jessica yelled. Evander smiled, knowing that with 6 ultimates, they stood a better chance against Jijimon. But then his face fell. How could he be sure of that? Jijimon seemed invincible. He hadn't even been fighting back. Jijimon was just absorbing all of their attacks like they were nothing. Jijimon's house was completely and utterly destroyed. There wasn't even anything left that slightly resembled a house. Evander's attack; using the Galantice card, and Power Boost card, and then firing an Ultra Giga Destroyer from MetalGreymon utterly obliterated everything! Except, that is, the one thing that they were trying to inflict damage on; Jijimon! 

When Jessica had scanned the blue card through her digivice, she expected her own Digimon to digivolve to the ultimate level. Instead, something unexpected happened. Leomon's whole body began glowing in a blue light that flickered with some sketchy images.

When the light faded, what was before them wasn't the Grap Leomon they expected. Well, it did resemble a GrapLeomon, only awfully pixelated. Jessica had a worried expression on her face. She glared at the pixilated bi-pedal lion whose data pixels flashed repeatedly. "HELP ME!" He cried out. Jessica put her hands over her mouth and gasped. "What Happend!?" Jessica asked in shock. GlitchLeomon grabbed his head and cried out in pain, grunting and screaming. Then he ran towards Jijmon. He extended his claw forward. "Glitch Claw!" GlitchLeomon shouted. 

Evander stared at the sight as well, wondering what had happened as well. Then, it dawned on him. "You're not supposed to use my card, you have to find one on your own." Evander said.

Tankbugmon looked to the other Digimon coming in. The cannons on his arms retracted and gatling guns came out instead. "Gatling Guns!" TankBugmon shouted, sending out a barrage of bullets from the guns on his arms..

"TRI BEAM!" Rapidmon shouted, holding his arms and legs out to make a triangular shape and causing energy to come out of his arms and legs to make a field of yellowish golden energy in the shape of a triangle. Once the energy field was formed, Rapidmon launched it at Jijimon. 

Although now at his lowest level, Botamon still wanted to help. "Bubble Blow!" Botamon shouted, sending out a small stream of slightly acidic bubbles in Jijimon' direction. 

Tameron stood in shock knowing that Evander had used the Galantice card and failed. Nanomon stood there too, knowing that Evan would need help, Tameron took off with Nanomon on his shoulder.

"You ready to do this!?!" asked Tameron as the approached the battle. "I was born ready, now let's help are friends!" said Nanomon as jumped off Tameron's shoulder.

Tameron quickly pulled out his D-Power and it started to glow. Just then Nanomon began to glow to.

Nanomon Digivolve to.....Meldmon!

Tameron pulled out four card from with on his sleeve and slid then through his D-Power.

"Digi-Modify! Hyper Speed, Illusion, Giga barrier and Greymon's Nova Blast Activate!" Tameron yelled. Meldmon then entered the battle with a bang. "Nova Blast!" The attack exploded behind the other marked digimon that were still standing and sent them flying. "Take care of Jijimon I will take care of these weaklings!" said Meldmon as he continued to attack the other Digimon.

Mario, after a few seconds of listening over the Digivice, sighs. He then rushes back down the stairs, soon running into Flora.

"Hey! Watch it!" she yells.

"Flora, come on. We have to do something," Mario says.

"Are you crazy?" Flora yells. "I saw Evan and the others do their best against them, but it's all been in vain!"

"Still, we have to try."

Flora is silent before sighing. "Fine, but if we die, I blame you."

Mario walks around Flora and continues down the stairs. Flora follows closely.

Jijimon smiles as the attacks hit but simply are shrugged off. "Just give up," he says. "You don't honestly think that you can beat all of us?"

All of the red mark Digimon laugh.

Zai sighed, making her way back down the stairs, towards the fight. She wasn't going to be the only one who sat off to the side, even though that would be much wiser on her behalf. Syn was looking a bit better anyways, perhaps they could assist in some way.

GlitchLeomon was making all sorts of noises. "He......l.....pmepple..se." He said. Jessica looked really worried. She checked her Digivice for Info. "Oh No! If a Blue card is used on the digivice that it wasn't intended to be used on, the Digimon will Glitch Digvolve and when it Devolves it will be deleted and not even leave a Digi-Egg for it to be reborn! The only way to reverse it is to use the shell of a Digi-Egg with some natural herbs." Jessica said. GlitchLeomon stood there flashing. He looked like a video game glitched GrapLeomon. 

Rapidmon picked up a Recliner and tossed it at Jijimon. "Bug Spray!" TankBugmon yelled, sending out two glowing yellow spheres of energy out of the cannons on his arms. 

The recliner is simply caught and tossed aside by Jijimon. He also absorbs the attack from Tankbugmon. "I am not afraid. I just find it pointless to end such an amusing attempt to rid us of HER control."

Evander grit his teeth and growled. He put both hands on each side of his head and rubbed his hands furiously across his head, slightly messing up the blue baseball cap that his goggles rested over top of. He was clearly very frustrated. "What can we do!? Jijimon is invincible! We'll never be able to win at this rate!" Evander vented. Evander then had a look of realization come across his face. He face palmed. "Of course! Of course! The Digivices!" He said. Evander clutched his orange D-Power tightly and then ran up to Jijimon. A bright light from his D-Power shot out and hit Jijimon in the Red Mark. The light branched off and hit the other Digimon in the (now destroyed) base. "We don't have to beat you as long as we can remove that red mark from your forehead!" Evander said, a cocky smile coming across his face. He knew he had won now. This was how they freed Augie's Dad and Tyrannomon back in Overdelle. 

Jijimon and a few Digimon are then hit with the beams. A few Agumon and a Dorumon are hit, sliding back some ways as their red marks are evaporated. However, the beam hit Jijimon, but he wasn't affected at all. He smiles. "Ah, yes...that..." he says. "Yes, SHE wasn't expecting it at first, but now SHE has made some improvements to the red marks. We are not so immune to them anymore, with the exception of Rookies and below, but that is only another temporary problem."

Evander then turned to the Agumon. "Agumons, help us fight the Digimon Ruler! With more help we can beat the witch and her Red Marks." Evander said. "Attack us, if she is as powerfull as she claims to be!" Evander yells.

GlitchLeomon saw a Flymon in the Group and went to beat it up. Appearently To keep beating on things is keeping the Pain of being in a mutalated figure. "Glitch Pound! Glitch Pound! Glitch Pound! Glitch Pound!" GlitchLeomon shouted as he attacked his Red Mark. "HYPER GLITCH BEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He shot out a Beam that's twice as powerfull as Fist of the Beast King!

Meldmon redirected his attack towards Jijimon. "Guys energy attacks will do no good, stop messing around and get physical!!!" he yelled as he took a long dash towards Jijimon and aimed to hit Jijimon in the red mark with his tail.

Evander smugged. "Good, Getting Physical is my specialty!" Evander said. Evander started running and picked up some rocks and started throwing them at Jijimon.

Evander tried the 3 way combo again since it was the closest hope of beating them.

Tankbugmon Slide Evolution....Boxerincectmon!

Evander: Digi-Modify! Gallatince Activate! Radiant Force Activate! Power Activate!

Boxerincectmon Tripled in size and power, He now had the power of 1 Omnimon.

Boxerincectmon stood ready. "Sonic Boom!" He used Sonic Boom to propell him at 600 MPH at Jijimon's Red Mark. "HYPER PUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!" Boxerincectmon Attacked. That is like throwing M.T Fuji at Jijimon!

The Agumon and the Dorumon are unconscious, which should have been an obvious aftereffect of the red mark. Several Digimon were hit, only one of them reverting back, however.

Jijimon frowns. "I tire of this, and so does SHE. Guard Stick!" Waving his cane over the ground, a huge amount of earth rises up, protecting Jijimon. Suddenly, earthy spikes pop out of the wall. Apparently, Jijimon had made improvements to his attacks.

That wasn't all. For every Digimon taken out, about ten more took its place. At this rate, it appeared that the Digidestined would have to flee.

Boxerincectmon then Digivolved back into Tankbugmon.

Evander got fed up. He could feel anger surging through every part of his being. He clenched his fists and looked up to the sky letting out one long primal scream! "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Evander started running at full speed and he punched The wall that Jijimon was covered with. "DIGIMON RULER!!!!!! WE WILL FIND YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND I DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE A GIRL, YOU ARE GOING TO RUE THE DAY YOU MESSED WITH EVANDER GLOVION!" Evander yelled. Jessica looked at her Digivice Encyclopedia and saw that she needed to mix a Digi-Egg shell with some herbs. Jessica ran up to Flora. "Flora, Leomon has Glitch Digivolved so you are good with herbs and we need  to mix a Digi-Egg shell with some herbs, so while they fight the Digimon we can go cure GlitchLeomon at the Primary Village . If he devolves without the Antidote he'll Be deleated and his Digi-Egg will be destroyed so that he can't come back! So will you help me?" Jessica asked.

BATTLE OVER!!!!!!!

Flora is a bit surprised by this request. "I...guess..."

Mario sighs. He runs up to Evan and grabs him. "Evan, stop. This is going nowhere. Let's just hurry and get out of here. If we stay any longer, he'll kill us. Let's run while that wall is still up."

Tameron did the smart thing and began to flee like the rest and Meldmon did to.

"NO!!!!!!!"Evander yelled. "I MUST FREE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jessica hopped on Garurumon. "Guys! Let's go to Primary Village and get the Digi-Egg shell to help save GlitchLeomon OK?" Jessica said.

Tankbugmon toiok Evander and put it on his back. "Come on, I'll Carry Evander, Garurumon will carrry Jessica. But we have to save GlitchLeomon before he devolves and desolves." Tankbugmon said.

Meanwhile on their way out hundereds of Red Mark Digimon were coming by. "Bug Spray!" He Attacked. but it did no damage. They left safely.
