Episode 17: Agumon's Last Stand!

Evander and Jessica and the Digimon were walking down a Grassy Trail.

Botamon: I think I have enough Energy to Digivolve.

Evander: Well mabey you should wait a while I mean you need to get some more rest first.

Botamon: Aww....come on. :/

Evander: Well....OK.

Botamon: Yay! Botamon Digivolve to....Koromon!

Larvamon: I can Digivolve to.

The Digimon Dgivolve to their In-Training forms.

Evander: Well let's rest here for a half hour or so.

Bedmon: What's wrong we Digivolved. We have some eergy.

Evander sat down under a tree and sighed. "Well Mabie you do but I don't." Evander said. "Hey I'll go get us some water." Koromon said. Jessica sat down with her Digimon too. She was thinking about the Red Mark Digimon's Attacks and how they were so ULTIMATELY Strong. Tsunomon looked up at her and smiled. "are you thirsty?" Tsunomon asked. "Yes I'm thirsty." Jessica answered. "Koromon Digivolve to....Agumon!" Koromon Digivolved.

Zai and Syn had stopped only a short distance from the group, about a rock's throw away, and started a slight argument. Syn had been talking, and brought up the worst thing to say. 'I'm a lot stronger than you.' which had then resulted in Zai denying the digimon was much more powerful than her, and went into a little spat about it, though neither were intending on fighting the other.

Evander looked over to Zai. "Oh Hello Zai." Evander said. Agumon looked at Evander. "Im going to go get the Water now. Agumon went to Dragon eye lake. "Now what am I going to put the water in?" Agumon said. Agumon saw some leaves that he put together with twigs to make a bowl. he thwn Returend. "Anyone else thirsty?" Agumon asked.

Jessica grabed a bowl and started Chugging it down. "Splehh! Delishis!" She yelled. "I can't wait to see Jijimon agian." Jessica said. Evander got his Digimon to Rookie and smiled. "Yeah I aven't seen Regen, Kari, Mario or Flora in 4 days. and it's my 6th day in the Digital World." Evader said. "Yeah but it seems like we've been gone for a long time dosn't it?" Jessica said. "Yeah Evander replied. Agumon crawled up into a Tree for a nap. He was thinking about the real world and how cool it might be. Terriermon walked over to Evander with a Worried look on his face.

"What's wrong Terriermon?" Evander asked. "I wonder if we need Crest to beat these Red Mark Digimon." Terriermon said. Evander layed on a Tree branch also. "Don't worry if we do I'm sure they'll appear when we really need them." Jessica answerd for Evander. "But We needed them with Allomon." Evander said.

"I mean when Running and the Digivice are not Choices." Jessica said.

Jessica's Digimon Digivolved to Rookie as well.

Gabumon: Well We finnaly made it back to our Basic Forms.

Jessica: Basic?

Gabumon: Yeah the forms we are usauly at like Gatomon.

Leormon: Well I hope we don't run into any Digimon.

Jessica: Me too.

Zai silently listened to the group, before walking to the tree Evander was at. "Hey, Evan? Could I ask you what your world is like? I-I mean..." she paused to think for a moment, "hn... how do I put it..." she sighed, "I've heard about your planet, but I don't really know what it's like. It's not like a human could survive on my planet, so I don't know anything from that point of veiw..."

"Well..." Evander started. "There are Trees, and Lakes, Streams Oceans, Highways, A Blue Sky....well to cut to the Chase it's alot like the Digital World." Evander said.

"...Basically, it's just the digital world suited for humans?" Zai sighed slightly, and shrugged, "heh... I'd much rather live here than my planet."

Syn had curled up into a little ball and fell asleep, not even beneath a tree.

Evander looked dazed. "Why?" He Asked.

You know nothing of my planet, no?" Zai sighed slightly, shrugging her shoulder slightly, taking a quick glance at Syn, before looking back to Evan.

Syn rolled onto her back, "no more food... too stuffed..." she mumbled, her paws making odd gestures, proving that she was dreaming.

Evander layed down on the Ground. "No I don't." Evander said.

Agumon hopped down from the tree and walked over to Zaiku. "Well Why don't you tell us a little about it." Agumon said. "Yeah." Jessica replied.

"Hn... Think of my world as a small version of your sun. No trees, or flowers. Beds are not something you fall onto and it feels like cushions either. Coal. Think of landing on that, instead. Everything is burnt, and people aren't kind, I should inform you. Nobody is. A way of fun is to attack the weakest person nearby, to some. Or mutilate the first object that is spotted," Zai paused. She was thinking of other things, currently every thought was making her throat dry from actually hating her own home, "...the sky? Uh... the color of fire, you could say. I guess..." she thoughts, "we, surprisingly, manage to have technology that doesn't turn to dust seconds after making it..."

"Oh my God that's Sounds sad." Jessica said. "Well if I went to your planet I'd beat the Snot out of anyone who attacked me. they would have body parts in places they shouldn't be." Evander said. "You're gonna get your butt kicked one of these days thinking that you can take on anyone." Jessica said. Evander closed his eyes and rememberd the Bully who was 2 feet tallerthen him and he was slow so Evander could beat him up easly because he not fast enugh to dodge his Attacks. "Well I beat up the school bully once." Evander said. "Yeah Evander can take anybody on." Ladybugmon said. "WEll Even I have my limits." Evander said.

"I know my limits. I know I can't beat everyone. Of course, I use technology when I have it, rather than actually needing to fight, not saying I can't," I sigh escaped Zai's lips, "none of you would be able to last ten seconds on my world. This place is freezing compared to Devilis. Stunning I haven't caught a cold from being here without a jacket..." she sighed.

"Well then Winter would be like Earth having no Sun then." Jessica said.

Ladybugmon: Well This place is Pretty warm I don't know how you can be cold.

Evander: Well Then your place would be Heatstroke hot compared to here for me.

Ladybugmon: What's a Heat Stroke?

"You wouldn't have time to have a heatstroke... you'd have already caught on fire and burned to death by now..." she paused, "I forgot about winters.." she shivered, "how can you people put up with frozen water falling from the sky? And how CAN you actually have water freeze?"

When the Water is 32 Degrees 0F." Evander said. "Although I'm Confused how somtimes it can be Sleet and sometimes it can be Snow." Evander said. "BURN TO DEATH!!!!!" Agumon yelled. Agumon started running around and triped on Syn.

Evander: Agumon Calm down.

"DON'T EAT ME!" Syn jumped up suddenly, after Agumon tripped on her, and looked around, a calmer look on her face, after realizing nothing was trying to devour her flesh, "...oh... nightmare..."

"Well don't ask me, since I've never even seen snow before," Zai shrugged slightly. It was true, though. Being in such a heated area, she had never gotten the chance to see snow.

"Well you might die of it being to cold sinse it's Freezing here to you anyway." Jessica said. "You've never seen snow? Well it's like Ice Cream only it's God-Made." Evander said. "IDIOT!!" Jessica yelled hitting him on the head. "If it's that Hot then they probibly won't have Ice Cream either!" Jessica yelled.

Agumon Got up and rubbed his head in Embarresed. "Oh...hehe....Sorry."

"...Yeah... something frozen will NOT be located on my planet. I don't even know what ice cream IS!" Zai shook her head, then paused, "god... god... uh... is that the weird thing we learned about that several religions on Earth..like... talk about? It sounds familiar from someplace..." she blinked, "trust me, I won't die from the cold, if I haven't caught a cold yet from this temperature, something freezing probably would just make me catch something." Zai shrugged slightly. Yeah, but God is in alot of Religens. but if you can come to earth (and bring a jacket) You can try some Ice Cream. they come in alot of different Flavors." Evander said. Chessmon walked over to Jessica. "I'm Bored." Chessmon said. "Yes Well let's finish our conversation first." Jessica replied. "I'm Hungry too." Chessmon answerd. Jessica looked toward Agumon, who wasn't doing anything so maby he could gather some food. "Hey, Augie can you gather some food for us." Jessica asked. "Yes, OK." Agumon said.

Easier said than done. It should be impossible to get here, let alone to get to Earth, of all places...." Zai yawned slightly from boredom, "...you just ate a little while ago..." Zai sighed some, "Pa-thetic..." she shook her head slightly, and looked up at the sky for a moment, yawning softly, while covering her mouth with her hand, as if using manners.

Syn blinked some, "I doubt anyone will find much food out here..."

""Why not?" Chessmon asked.

"There isn't much stuff to find EDIBLE around here if there isn't a whole lot to find that isn't really edible," syn blinked

Agumon didn't find anything. and he came back. "I Couldn't find anything to eat." Agumon said.

"Told ya!" Syn stuck her tongue out childishly, before noticing her tail, and took hold of it in one of her gloved paws, "when did THIS get here?!"

Zai hit her forehead softly with the palm of her hand, "oi... I don't know her."

In the distance, something is seen. It isn't easy to make out at first, but it slowly closes in on the group. Suddenly, it is reckonized as a Dobermon. As it got closer, it seemed to be running toward the group, but a red mark could not be seen anywhere. Perhaps this Digimon had another reason for rushing toward the group? Then again, what if it was running from something?

BATTLE NOW!

Evander opened his eyes and saw the Digimon running toward him! "Ahh!" He yelled as he jumed up. Agumon got in fromt of the Digimon. "Are you one...of the RED MARK Digimon.?" Augie asked.

The Digimon runs at them for a second before leaping, sailing over the heads of everyone and then lands just beyond them, continuing to run.

Just then, a stone flies through the group, chasing the Dobermon. A few seconds later, the stone connects, and a red light is seen moving from the stone onto Dobermon. It yelps as the red light forms on the back of Dobermon's head.

Oh Snap!" Evander Yelled.

Ladybugmon: Super Sonic!

Terriermon: Bunny Blast!

Agumon: Baby Burner!

A Flamethrower like attack headed for Dobermon.

Chessmon: Chess Strike!

Gabumon: Blue Blaster!

Leormon: Leo Claw!

"I'll just... anylize..." Syn mumbled under her breath, carefully watching the dobermon. She didn't like dogs, and wanted to refrain from nearing something that could easily bite her head off. Zai merely shrugged some.

All of the attacks head for Dobermon and collide, creating a huge cloud of dust...but when it clears, Dobermon is gone!

Agumon looks Shocked. "what the?" Augie asked.

"Huh?" Syn blinked, staring at the missing Dobermon (or at least where the Dobermon had stood before being attacked), but chills ran down her spine, almost swearing to herself that she could feel the digi's gaze, as she turned around, as if to state that there was nobody behind her, but gasped, as the dust formed from Dobermon's reappearance. The digimon had managed to get behind them? How did he do that so quickly? "Wait, Dobermon, be sensible..." she tried to talk to the digimon, but didn't figure it would do much.

"Syn, I don't think talking with the bad guy is a very bright move..." Zai mumbled lowly, only glancing back from the corner of her eyes at the digimon, which she never would have bothered noticing if not for Syn's gasp.

Evander: Digi-Modify! Gatling Arm Activate!

Jessica: Digi-Modify! Tomahawk Activate!

Agumon: Gatling Arm!

Chessmon: Tomahawk!

OK. nothing else is working. Do i'll have to make them Digivolve." Evander thought. "Let's get them to Digivolve." Evander told Jessica. Jessica Nodded.

Evander looked at Jessica. he knew that sinse the other Red Mark Digimon were so Powerfull they might need to have the other 4 to save their Strenght if Dobermon does a Devitating attack that is equivalent to a Metior or Dynamite Blasts. "Let's have the ohers for back up." Evander said. "OK." Jessica replied.

Greymon: Nova Blast!

Boxerincectmon: Sonic Boom!

Garurumon: Howling Blaster!

Just like before, Dobermon dodges, and appears behind the group, a cunning smile on its snout.

Greymon Started Running at Doboermon. "Great Horns Attack!" Greymon attacked. Boxerincectmon started looking for his Red Mark.

"That Dog is Planning Something. I think he' Trying to outsmart us but I can't counter it if we don't know what it is." Jessica thought.

BoxerIncectmon saw the Mark on the Back of his head and Attacked it. "Rapid Punch!"

All attacks collide in the same location...but Dobermon was gone again! It appears to the group's left, smiling again after seeing the aftermath of the failed attacks.

Jessica pulled out a Modify Card and slashed it. It was Hyper Speed. Garurumon ran around Dobermon and Created a Super Blurr and then he ramed himself into Dobermon shouting "Howling Blaster!". Evander just Slashed a Speed Card and Greymon Ran at Dobermon again. "Fire Wall!" Greymon Attacked. The Fire Wall is supposed to ENGULF the enemy in flames.

Dobermon is thrown off by the first hit and is then open to the others. When the attacks clear, Dobermon is lying on the ground. Suddenly, he disappears as if he wasn't there. Was it a fake?

Greymon looked at the Ground where Dobermon was. "What in the Digiworld?" He mumbled.

"This is going to hurt again..." Syn whined slightly, as Zai gained a questioning look, "I'm going to try Cat's eye on it... maybe, if pictures come up, I can get some information... or pass out... or both..." Syn sighed, "but I don't move that fast..." the feline digi looked at Evander, and Jessica, "do either of you two have a fast digimon that can get me close to Dobermon?"

Zai sighed some, "...Syn's an idiot..."

Jessica looked at Garurumon. "Garurumon's Hyper Speed is still in effect, so he'll take you." Jessica told Syn. "Right." Garurumon nodded. Evander walked over to them. "Uhh...you might not've noticed, buuttt.....he's disappeared." Evander said.

Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, the Dobermon reappears, but within the group! It doesn't attack, however. It just stands in front of BlackGatomon, its eyes showing a dare to try and penetrate its mind.

Greymon looked at Dobermon. "Mega Burst!" Greymon attacked with a 30 Inch Flame. "All of these Digimon have Abilities that they normally wouldn't have if they didn't have that Red Mark. I'm going to tell Jijimon this." Jessica thought.

As the Dobermon appeared within the group, Syn shivered slightly, at what she was going to do. Staring at the Dobermon, her eyes focused carefully, "cat's eye hypnotism..." her voice managed out in a meeping tone, her mind blocking out the sound of Greymon's attack, hopefully it would manage to miss her, since she was trying something, and didn't even hear it.

Everyone dodged the attack. "DANG IT!!!" Terrermon yelled. Greymon's attack hit Evander's Behind. "Anyone smell anything burning?" He asked.

A number of images suddenly flash through Syn's head, many of them as painful as the ones from earlier. Then came the final image. The one of the strange laughing person from earlier. Only, this time, some hidden piece of information was known: this person called himself the Digimon Ruler.

But, instead of this being the last image, something else appeared. It was a strange light that Syn could see, and standing within it was Dobermon! Suddenly, a voice is heard by Syn only within her mind. Relax, I do not wish to harm you.

"your butt is burning." Jessica said. "that's nice.....umm....wait..." Evander looked behind him and started running around franticly.

"Dog Garments!" Evander yelled. Greymon looked over to Evander. "That's Dog GONNIT!" Greymon said just like ghe battle with Lizomon. Evander stopped, dropped, and rolled. Terriermon walked over to Syn, who was worried about her. "Do you see anything?" he asked.

Syn was frozen, her mind focusing on everything that was happening within. Digimon Ruler, was it? How odd. Then, Dobermon's image appeared, w-what? she didn't even seem to hear Terriermon beside her, still keeping focused on the final faze of her 'backfired' cat's eye hypnotism. If the Dobermon had no intentions of harming them, was that why it wasn't attacking everyone?

Zai looked at her feline digimon, after sighing some, having watched Evan's strange panic reaction. "Syn?" she mumbled, realizing the Blackgatomon seemed to still be paying attention to the Dobermon, rather than anything surrounding her.

The image of the strange light Dobermon still rests in Syn's mind, and it continues to talk. I do not wish to hurt you, but it is this mark that controls me. Please, help me. Get rid of this mark, even if it deletes me. I can't do much to help, I'm afraid, and I've used the rest of my remaining willpower to keep myself from mauldering you just now.

Alright, Dobermon, if you're certain... Thank you... if there's anything else I could do for you before that... Syn thought, uncertain if it worked for him to hear her, though doubt was filling her mind.

"Syn, wakey wakey!" Zai shouted at her oblivious digimon.

Terriermon stood there. "What's going on?"" Terriermon thought. Boxerincectmon saw his time to act with Dobermon being Distracted. "Rapid Punch!" He attacked the Red Mark. "Slamming Attack!" Garurumon attacked it also.

Both the real Dobermon and the image suddenly cringe in pain, but the real one doesn't cringe as much as the image.

The Dobermon image growls a little. I...idiots...by attacking the mark, they only...strengthen its power! If it's attacked...enough, though, it will dissipate, but I'm...losing my willpower much more...quickly now, so you must break this connec...ion. There's n...thing m...re t... d......... The image suddenly fades.

The real Dobermon suddenly reacts, disappearing once more and reappearing...and reappearing...and reappearing...

Goodness! Now there were three Dobermons! Obviously, two were afterimages from the speed of Dobermon, but the question is which one was the real Dobermon!

"Oh my Freaking Lord!!!! I'm Definetly Telling Jijimon this!!!!!!!!!!!" Jessica Shouted. Evander saw that Dobermon had made copies of himself. He was shocked. They might not be able to save the Digital World if new possibilities come out. His Reaction was to make Terriermon Digivolve. "NOW!!!!!!!!!! TERRIERMON QWUICKLY!!!" Evander shouted.

Evander: Digi-Modify! Hyper Speed Activate! AND RADIANT FORCE ACTIVATE!!!!!!

Gargomon Ran to the End of of The Native Forest and then came back running at Dobermon. "GARGO LAZERS!!!!!!!!!" Gargomon yelled as he attacked.

Greymon got in front of the attacks and a Beam shot right through him. "Aughhhhhhhgghh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He yelled as he fell to the ground. "GREYMON NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Evander yelled. He ran over to Greymon. "Why did you do that?" Evander asked. "Because.....he's......not..Evil...." Greymon said weakly. He Devolved then started disentagrating. "Agu....mon....." Evander said tearing up. "I'll....be....back.....no worries." Agumon said as he turned into a Digi-Egg.

"No...." Gargomon said. "NOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!" He yelled and he Gargomon Ran to the End of of The Native Forest and then came back running at Dobermon. "GARGO LAZERS!!!!!!!!!" Gargomon yelled as he attacked AGAIN. Evander hugged the Digi-Egg crying. "I'm sorry......I'll never make you fight again." Evander said buirying his head in the Digi-Egg. After shooting him he then used another attack. "Bunny Pummel!" at the 1st one.

It was just an afterimage! It fades, leaving just two more Dobermon.

Gargomon ran into a tree. "oooooooowwww........" He yelled as he fell over Anime style.

"Gatling Arm!" Gargomon span around so that he would hit him no matter where the real one was.

Syn suddenly stumbled backwards, into a sitting position, "...oh..." she whined, rubbing her head, and whiping one of her eyes with the side of one of her gloves, making sure the claws didn't make contact with her skin. "...Poor Dobermon..." she mumbled. While she was whiping her eye, Zai mentally questioned if digimon cried, since it seemed like Syn was doing so, but holding back tears, perhaps why she was rubbing her eyes.

"Syn...?" Zai mumbled, walking closely to her digimon, before picking up the feline, "you okay?"

"Yeah... fine..." Syn spoke lowly, before her eyes seemed to flicker to anger, "you idiots! Why'd you have to attack him?! He wasn't doing anything to you! T-that was important..." the feline sniffled out the last three words, before regaining her tone, remembering what Dobermon had been saying after the hit, "you had to attack him and strengthen the d**n mark! Why?!" she hissed out in a fit of sudden anger, but sighed, realizing yelling would never be helpful, "...just... get rid of the connection... it's Dobermon's wish..." she mumbled, "just... attack the mark as much and as quickly.... he might seem to be gaining strength, but he isn't fully..." she managed out, before seeing Greymon get hit with the attack, and only managed out a shakey breath, almost sounding like she was being gagged and couldn't breath more than a quick gasp of air. Instantly, her ears drooped lower than low, and quickly hid her face in Zai's shoulder, not wanting to see anything. Perhaps the only thought on the cat's mind though, was truly about Dobermon. Agumon's 'injury' merely made it worse. By a long shot.

"I THOUGHT THAT IT MAKES IT WEAKER!!!!!" Jessica yelled. "d**n! AGUMON DIED!!!! SYN LOST INFORMATION!!!1???!!?!? COULD THIS DAY GET MUCH WORSE!!!!!!???" She yelled. Then she saw the lazers coming at her. "Hit the deck!" she yelled as she ducked. "I'm Worthless as a tamer. I should've protected my Digimon. I shouldv'e been there for him." Evander thiought oblivious to everything else around him.

"Idid NOT lose information! It does make the digimon eventually lack the mark, but it makes the power seem stronger!" Syn shouted, muffled by Zai's shoulder, and shirt, but it sounded like she was gasping for breath. She knew Agumon was going to be fine, but the poor Dobermon... and Agumon was digi-egg-ified! By one of his own friends!

"You know, there's a think right by you called my ear, Syn. Please take note that it hurts when you yell while right beside it..." Zai sighed some, pulling the sniffling digi away from her, holding her out like a kitten could be, "would you pull yourself together? I doubt anyone needs you crying right now..."

Syn sniffled, and nodded, as she was placed back onto the ground, wabbling slightly, from being so shaken up, then looking towards the digimon who were currently fighting.

Evander sat there crying. "I'm a Worthless tamer...." Evandr said to himslef. "Tell me what you saw." Jessica asked Syn.

"Focus on our enemy... he wants to be free... even if it means..." Syn sniffed some, and pointed towards Evander and the digi-egg, "even if it means that.... just... just do it...." she mumbled, more focussed on defeating whatever was overpowering the canine digimon, "...until then... nothing will be conversed about what I saw. Nothing."

Zai sighed softly, and put her hands in her pockets.

Gladimon Powered up and Wheel Dashed to the End of Native forest and back at one of the Dobermon. "WHEEL DASH!!!!!!!!!!!" Gladimon yelled.

Both attacks just faze through both of the other Dobermon. They were all afterimages! As the last of the three afterimages disappear, things get worse. About a dozen more afterimages appear in a circle around the group, all of them snickering evilly.

Syn, can't you pull yourself together a little? Apparently, the Dobermon was talking with you, or something, so why don't you help?" Zai sighed softly, staring at the Dobermon.

Syn shifted some, and nodded slightly, "I-I guess..." she mumbled, trying to get herself up to it, before looking around. She couldn't hear the footsteps because they were moving too quickly for her, to she merely picked out one of the Dobermon at random, to attack. I don't want to do this, but Dobermon didn't want to be controlled. It isn't like I really blame him. I can understand where he's coming from, but still... she sighed softly, "lightning paw," she mumbled, darting towards the digimon, or it's image, at least.

Evander still sat there bawling. "I'm worhtless...." He contenued to say over and over.

Boxerincectmon: Sonic Boom!

Gargomon: Bunny Pummel!

Garurumon: Slamming Attack!

Gladmon: Swords Dance!

Leormon: Fist of the Beast King!

Zai sighed again, watching Syn for a second, then looking over to the bawling Evander, and walking to him. She took two of her fingers, and aimed a soft hit with the tips of them at his head, as in to get him out of his trance, "idiot, stop whining about Agumon. He's fine, can't you see? Egg. He'll be back soon. Not your fault that one of the digimon attacked him rather than Dobermon..."

Jessica noticed Zai and walked over to her. "She's Right you need to get up." Jessica said. Evander wiped the tears on hs sleeve and stood up. he grabed some of his Modify cards. But whitch ones to use? which? WHICH!? Boxerincectmon Stood there beetween the Afterimages and put one Boxing Glove out to his side. "Spinning Punch!" Boxerincectmon attacked.

All of the images that were attacked disappeared, and those that remained smirk.

Suddenly, they all look panicked.

One by one and quickly, all of the Dobermons disappear. They were all images as well! Suddenly, one lone Dobermon appears, probably the real one having been moving at superspeed to where not even an afterimage could be seen.

But something is wrong. It seems to be struggling. It keeps trying to move toward the group to attack, but then steps back as if trying to avoid attacking. Could Dobermon still be in there, fighting? If that was the case, then Dobermon had now gave the group the perfect chance to go after the mark.

NOW!!!!" Evander yelled. "FOR THE DIGITAL WORLD!!!!!!" Evander yelled.

Boxerincectmon: Sonic Boom!

Gargomon: Gargo Lazers!

Gladimon: Wheel Dash!

Leomon: Beast Sword!

Garurumon: Howling Blaster!

No... I think you should say 'for Dobermon'...." Zai mumbled glancing towards Syn, who looked nervous.

Syn had a worried look. She didn't want to attack Dobermon, but then again, if they didn't, he'd be forced to live like that, and she had no clue what would happen to the original digimon's mind after it had given up fully. She gained a structured look, before attacking with the others, aimed at Dobermon, "lightning kick!"

All of the attacks hit their mark. Dobermon screams in pain as the mark grew brighter and brighter. Suddenly, the mark dims, and Dobermon falls over. A few seconds later, the mark evaporates away like all the others, the strange cloud forming, roaring, and disappearing.

Dobermon stirs a little, but not opening its eyes. It was obviously trying to conserve what energy it still had by trying not to move.

BATTLE OVER!

Are you OK Dobermon?" Jessica asked. The Digimon Devolve to their Rookie forms. "Yeah, what she said." Gabumon said.

"Dobermon..." Syn murmered, and nodded slightly, "thanks, you really helped us there..." she murmered, not asking any questions so that the digimon wouldn't have to waste energy speaking. Since the mark had dissapeared, the feline digimon wasn't hesitating to quickly make her way to the closest she could get to the Dobermon, without actually touching him, and sat down, before looking to Zai, "...do you think he'll be okay...?"

"He might be, I don't know. Not a doctor, but Dobermon looks pretty beat..." Zai shrugged slightly, watching Syn, and the Dobermon, her eyes flickering to Gabumon and Jessica, "...you shouldn't make him speak, or move. It will use up the remainder of his energy..."

Hn... there aren't really nearby herbs, or I'd try to help..." Zai sighed, "but I can't, so we do need to see if somebody else can...." she paused, "you shouldn't have had your digimon de-digivolve. If there had been one capable of carrying him, we wouldn't have this difficulty..."Oh, Well I'm strong i can carry him" Jessica said. "Hey where Evan go?" Chessmon asked.

But your arm is injured, and he's a canine digimon. Not the tiny little lap dog type, either. If he was a little smaller, I would have carried him myself," Zai mumbled.

"Evan? He ran off that way," Syn murmered, pointing in the direction Evan had run off in.
